Entered the trail run (not the obstacle..) and shouldn’t have mattered which event, but it really did have a significant difference.
Such a shame really as the event set up was great. But zero communication pre race, start time was just “pending” when I finally found a generic start time online of 7:45am, and you must be there an hour prior to register. Registration opens at 6:30am. Arrived at 6:45.. registration not even open. Opens at 7am, and start time now 8:45 (could’ve been told this in advance!!) none of their registration computers worked for this particular event but worked for all others. Just a shambles really.

No “ready and raring to go” start line like the obstacle runners got.. again, a real shame as it’s not a cheap event. And they basically just got a “go” and that was it.. no warm up, no psych that I thought this event should have (I’ve entered many obstacle courses and they ALL treat every entered event, even the kids ones with the same hyped up warm up). Just really disappointing.
Then we got one photo of just running on flat after the event.. doesn’t represent the “trail” run we entered, and no picture of jumping over the fire at the end.. it’s like the trail run was just an add on and didn’t matter. Real shame. Won’t be entering another one.

Don’t do it they don’t have a refund policy . Only credit to another race and if that’s postponed forget it. You just dish out more money for fees upon fees. You get merchandise credit only still paying more shipping fees. Don’t do it. Spartan is a joke and money hungry

ihr habt mir leider nicht die richtigen Infos mitgeteilt für die Teilnahme an Spartan München 2022. Ich war persönlich dort und könnte nicht teilnehmen. Ihr habt mir versprochen den Betrag innerhalb von Max 2 Wochen zurückzuzahlen und es ist leider nicht passiert. Ich habe heute einen Lastschriftrückgabe Anfrage direkt gemacht. Leider sehr unprofessional.

Pas d'assurance annulation disponible malgré ce qu'ils prétendent donc il ne faut pas se blesser faut de quoi vous ne serez pas remboursés.
Le mieux reste de ne pas leur donner d'argent vu qu'ils ne jurent que par ça, ça les fera peut-être changer !!

I wish I read the reviews before wasting my money. The organisation of their events are pathetic. I booked a race in 2021 and due to the COVID lockdown, it was cancelled. I was sent an e-mail in September 2021 informing me that my registration was moved to an event in 2022. I received zero communications between then and the event which took place in April, except for an e-mail two days before the race with my race details. It's a simple ask of an event organiser to send a few communications prior to the date but this was not the case. I couldn't make arrangements to attend in 2 days and the organiser refused to make any concessions. Absolute greed and zero customer service, save yourself the headache and do not support these events!

In der Vergangenheit gab es Probleme bei den Zahlungen und Rückerstattungen. Mittlerweile ist es viel besser geworden. Umbuchen klappen reibungslos (mit Gebühr) und Gutscheine als Ersatz für ausgefallene Rennen gab es ebenfalls. Ein Rennen gebucht welches ausgefallen ist und bei Absage kam ein 80% und ein 20% Gutschein Code. Ok, deswegen 4 von 5 Sterne. Man muss trotzdem zahlen und ein Rennen mehr machen. Support konnte mir immer schnell und einfach helfen.

Auf die Anfrage zur Auszahlung der Gutscheine gab es keinerlei Antwort.
Obwohl seit 01.01.2022 die Gutscheine auszuzahlen sind für Events die man vor dem 08.03.2020 gekauft hat. Nachzulesen im Artikel der Verbraucherzentrale vom 04.01.2022.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a race that I paid $450 for. After running my best and walking the rest I was at mike 32 per my Garmin but not yet close to the finish because of the extra penalty loops and a very disrespectful race oficial lights her light at us at 8:30 pm because “she says we skipped a part of the race and that we need to learn about blood, sweat and tears!” And goes on and on. ( with a bad attitude) I told her that we didn’t notice and no other oficial told us about it in all our crossings. We will never… run a spartan race again.

Rigtig rigtig dårlig oplevelse - alle andre har kunnet give penge tilbage under corona pga aflyste begivenheder, men ikke her. Nej du kan få en voucher til et løb, men de har ikke planlagt flere løb i dk? Jeg bestiller aldrig hos dem igen..

This review is NOT about the race events. They are pretty good. It is about their non-existent customer service. During the depths of covid lockdowns I thought I might help these guys out with some desperately needed cashflow by buying a race upfront. The package came with a mask and an online learn-spartan subscription both of which arrived. However, when the race came back on (1 option only) the voucher wouldn't work. No way to contact them. Email not answered. Back in the day they used to provide email support but looks like that has all been trashed. Now, if your voucher doesn't work, then you have basically lost your money.

This company has some of the worst customer service I"ve ever seen. They are about greed pure and simple. The sign up process is incredibly complicated. Their promo codes are a joke. I bought a buy one get one free for $170. Apparently the joke was on me as there isn't a single race of the distance I paid for that comes close to that price. I basically paid 170 to be able to buy two $90 races. Yay, what a deal. And now I have a whole slew of misplaced races that they charge $40 in fees to transfer. They are garbage pure and simple. And they know they have no competition so there's no incentive to clean it up. The races are fun, but their management is pure greed.

I was due to attend the Spartan race on the 11th of December. But the race was cancelled by your company without communicating this to the paying customers.

The organisation's communication has been poor for what is supposed to be a global organisation.

They are clearly more concerned about profits than their customers.

Løb man har givet næsten 700 kr for blev aflyst og man høre ikke noget fra dem og de svare ikke når man skriver. Jeg vil aldrig støtte dem igen.

Found out a couple weeks before the Nov 2021 race in AZ that you had to show a vax card to participate supposedly because of Indian Reservation rules. BUT the casino on the same reservation takes a verbal answer (no card needed). Rather than refund my money, they said I could transfer for FREE, but their website wouldn't let me do it. Turns out if you used a discount like Groupon, you have to PAY another $35 to transfer, with no guarantee they won't pull the same last minute shenanigans for the next race or there won't be some other hidden charge to actually finish the transfer. The experience left me with such a bad taste I can't see ever entering another race or recommending them to anyone.

Worst customer service in the world. Booked a race on Black Friday a evening. A bogo free promo was emailed out from Spartan race hours later and they would not honor the promo. The customer service reps refuse to transfer to supervisors. Their refund/exchange policy is horrible. The original race signed up for was cancelled due to Covid but a refund was not given. A credit was given for a future race but still had to pay $50 to transfer the credit.

This company is horrible and I would recommend staying away.

Annulation pour quoi ?! Le stade de France est plein à craquer au matchs de foot et la vous annulé la course, lol.
