Keine Rückerstattung und das Buchen eines Ersatztermins ist kaum möglich. Katastrophale Website und Ticketverwaltung über Muxfunregister. Ich kann meinen Vorredner nur zustimmen und hoffe das es diese Eventserie/Betreiber nicht mehr lange gibt. Ich schäme mich dieser Organisation Geld gesendet zu haben.

Poor, poor Admin that leaves a sour taste re interacting

This company seem like big opportunists. Make money from the event and at the expense of those who fork out for the experience. I had several issues regards e mails last year. I also found it bizzare and incompetent to say the least how noone contacted me for ages regards some simple queries re this years event and particularly about them not having any record of my entry from last year being carried over to this year.

They must have a solid influx of people who sign up every year. Certainly has left me questioning whether or not to connect and participate again with such a shoddy outfit. Tip for them if they ever read these Reviews "Get your customer relations dept and your administration sorted"

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible, so i hope you have no issues because they’re not interested in fixing them. It’s email only so if you expect something fixed quickly, good luck. I changed the email on my account, apparently you can’t do that, and none of my stuff works, such as the passes, store credit etc... I’ve been dealing with them all year trying to get it fixed and they just give me the run around. They tell me, “we contacted our team and it should be working now.” I email back that it’s not, and they literally say the same thing. “I contacted our team and they say it’s working now.” I literally sent them step by step screen shots of me doing what they suggested (use a desktop, clear my cache / history) and I get the exact same response. 2 weeks ago I tried again, and got the “director of global customer engagement” Aja varney I haven’t heard anything since.

Horrible conflict management and CS

The way Spartan handled issues with Covid was extremely unprofessional. They cancelled multiple events and allowed no option to get a refund. They sent out deferral codes that never worked and to get that fixed you had to email support that took days to get back. After over a year of all the events I signed up for getting cancelled they still just ignore you and give no refund even if you are no longer in a place to participate.

Money robbing

We were super excited about participating in Spartan race until I realised how absolutely terrible their customer/guest service is.
Considering covid and the cancelaction of a few races you’d think they’d do a better job at trying to keep guests for the future. Unfortunately not. I will never give money to them ever again, because trust me you won’t be getting back For any circumstances.
Theyre able to take your money and no matter what, never give it back. It’s a shame the company was so disappointing in trying to help. Theyve organised races, cancelled them and robbed people! Spartan: you really need to look into your customer service!!! Working in a similar industry I’m very disappointed in how you treat your customers.

Un bell'evento per la disonestà

Potessi dare meno lo farei.
Disonestà assoluta, una società che chiede 100 euro per un evento ha ancora il coraggio di appoggiarsi sul volontariato e trovare sempre una buona scusa per chiedere ulteriori soldi se vuoi fare ciò per cui hai già pagato.
Capisco il covid, capisco tutto ma questa è gente disonestà. Non sono riuscito a farla all'epoca e dal disgusto non credo che la farò mai più.
Ho perso 80 euro per un evento mai fatto ma a certa gente non dò un euro in più per principio.
Spero la gente smetta di dare credito a queste cose che vivono solo di brand e immagine, consistenza zero.
Sarà anche un bell'evento ma non vale nulla se non c'è tessuto sotto.

The race is whatever

The race is whatever. It's a participation trophy event. It's nothing special. No matter your place, you're getting a medal. It's not so difficult that someone would quit halfway through.

But what's really bad is the customer service. I mean, they are just awful.

I asked a question about tickets for events, and for whatever reasons, they decided it prudent that they refunded a person in my group the event fees. I didn't ask for refunds or idea how brought this person into the conversation, but this was customer service's idea of answering a question...

I asked why it happened they said they don't know what they're doing, but what is done is done. Now this person has gone back and try to re-enter a race canceled them from... I know it reads confusing, but I imagine being a part of it.

Quite possibly the worst version of customer service.

Needless to say, my entire party had to withdraw from the event because who wants to support such a travesty that is the Spartan Race.

Will not refund me my money

Will not refund me my money, event was meant to be in November last year, we're now in June and they still refuse to pay me back. Do not waste your time, terrible after sale service.

No refunds available for cancelled events. They stole my money - and from the looks of it - hundreds of others' money also.
I can't see how they can come back from this. Stealing from your customers has not historically been a great way to ensure repeat business....

Apalling company to deal with

Apalling company to deal with! It's been a hard year for everyone, but they don't care. They just care about making interest on everyone's money that they have held for the last 1.5 years.
**I did successfully get a refund through contacting my bank and applying for a visa credit card chargeback for no service recieved**
I highly recommend anyone else who has paid via visa card to do the same! Spartan will fight back but if you push the fact that you have paid for a service that they have not provided, the banks will pay you back.

After the Melbourne/Aus 2020 race was postponed and finally cancelled, I contacted Spartan requesting a refund as I myself had been made redundant due to Covid and I am also pregnant with twins! Like everyone else- they didn't care and refused a refund, giving me credits to use within 10months- except they failed to secure any locations remotely close to the original location I paid for!!!
Just pathetic! Fight tooth and nail for your money if you can, they definitely don't deserve it!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service.
First of all, I ordered 3 tickets and never received an email confirmation. After chasing up, the replied telling me the event was cancelled due to covid. The tickets were then automatically moved to 29th May 2021 but since I am now pregnant I can no longer attend this year. The only two options I have is attend another event this year (although there’s is no other event is QLD) or some how find someone to take my tickets. I have asked to extend through until next year (after I’ve had the baby) but they won’t allow it.

No different than any other review on here...SPARTAN SUCKS!!!

I am so tired of the garbage from Spartan.

I have been a loyal racer since 2016 and although the experience isn’t always awesome, I would actually enjoy the misery...yeah I know its weird....but after spending thousands in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and not receiving any refund after the shutdown and then recently...

In November 2020, I registered for two races (me and my son) for Austin, TX on May 16. I became very ill on Tuesday, May 9th and tested positive for Covid on May 11th. I tried to find out how to defer the race but I was unable to login to many of my accounts to include my email due to my email getting hacked. I sent an email on Wednesday to Spartan and they said I couldn’t defer so close to the race so I’d have to choose another race. Not only is there not a race that works for my work schedule, but i wasn't physically able to change anything online, which is why i emailed for help on Wednesday...After i received a response it was too late to defer (there is a 72 hour no deferment before a race...why? emergencies happen) and there are no other races that work for me. So, I requested a refund. It’s against policy to waive fees to register for another race, even if a racer has covid or some other ailment or disease, and if another race doesn’t work, a racer is unable to receive a refund even if they have Covid. I chose to be responsible and not attend the race. Why does Spartan not offer a refund under certain circumstances? And why do they no offer insurance like an airline or travel agency? This only makes sense.

At the same time I registered for the Austin Race, I registered for the NATS stadium race for April 10th, 2021, it was postponed by Spartan and moved to September but I cant make that date. And since that doesn’t work, I have to pay a fee to defer to another race or just eat it, even though its not my decision to choose that date. The Spartan brand only cares about their bottom line, not how their racers are affected and thats truly a shame. I pray these greedy cucks go bankrupt!

I will NEVER race with Spartan again.

Bought 5 tickets for a race. THEY canceled the race and the following year offered zero races in my state. Will not give me a refund. I will never buy a ticket from them again and you shouldn't either! They can cancel your race at ANY time and not give you back your money!!!

I was once optimistic about spartan. I thought that would change the world. They lied to me. Since I started this sport in 2016 I was hooked addicted I wanted more. But ever since then all they have done is treat their consumers like cash cows. They don't care about their consumers nor their athletes. Every year they raised the prices of their races calling it "maximizing profits" that's nothing but greed and BS. This company is a complete scam. They don't give refunds at all because of their god-awful, hatred, terrible, anti-consumerism no-refund policy. Anti-consumerism!! Their races have gotten shallow, repetitive, bland, and boring. The medals are absolute garbage and are rip-offs from last year. They are the sport version of the video game companies Electronic Art, Activision, and Ubisoft. And those companies treat their consumers like cash cows. All they care about is money. Money and nothing else. They don't care about who are, where you came from, what your backstory is, nothing. All they care about is money and money only. The worst happened when the pandemic hit and millions of people had their season and races canceled including me. I even bought two pairs of running shorts that have never arrived to me because all they care about is money. Joe De Sena and spartan have officially gone full blown stupid. More retarted than Peter Griffin in Family Guy and Mel Gibson when he appeared on South Park. They are as weak and as woke as hollywood. If they don't see the negative reviews and how much criticism they are getting they are putting their head in the sand and staying in their own safety bubble. This is spartan they are suppose to be tough but they are nothing but pussies. Here's another reason why they are a bad company the spartan SGX certificate is an absolute joke. I was once an SGX coach is was a complete waist of time and worthless. I applied for a personal trainer job in Reno, Nevada they said your credentials are impressive but we need an ACE or NASM certificate. The SGX program is not a legitimate certificate. If spartan and Joe can't take all of this criticism then they should declare bankruptcy and get off this planet. There are other OCR companies that are better and care about their consumers rather than this greedy and arrogant company. Until they start to realize "wow, we really have let greed get to our head" don't sign-up for another race. All they will do is take your money and punch you in the face.

DISAPPOINTING! .. WILL NEVER WORK WITH SPARTAN RACE AGAIN

In a time where we all need some understanding and compassion, the company of Spartan Race has NONE!

While I purchased the Trifecta in 2019 to be completed in 2020, the unfortunate event of a worldwide PANDEMIC occurred!! As the year passes by, our races are constantly being rebooked time and time again without the option of getting a refund!

Customer service is unhelpful. When wanting to move your race date or transfer to another person because you are now unable to keep scheduling a new date after new date after new date,.. they want to charge you an ADDITIONALLY $35!!! ..... Why aren't you giving us $35 every time you move our race dates!!!!! MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!

Thanks for STEALING $300
