Please stay away from this so called company, car was faulty said they serviced it oil change etc not done at all just reset the computer, dirty oil dirty filters, scammers, said they fixed the door, not fixed so safety issue, seized calliper low pads, faulty suspension, mechanics got their degree from a cereal packet as clearly don’t know what they are doing, don’t respond to calls (never available) emails ignored, all the negative reviews really says it all, if you want a good road worthy vehicle to keep your family safe do NOT go to this company.

Terrible garage, don't waste your time and money. Cars are faulty, mouldy, rusty and will most likely have hidden issues. Their checks are faked and don't take as much time as they say.

Seen a car on AA used car platform, and after reading their company values of "All Dealers are committed to AA standards, with a 129 point check before purchase", this gave me some assurances and confidence in viewing the Range Rover Evoque at Spirit Motors based in Farnworth, Bolton on 25th April 2025. I subsequently put a deposit of £500 to secure my purchase with an agreement of paying in full once the car had been checked and cleaned and told this process would take 7 to 10 days.
Today is 15th August, 3 and a half months later and still no sign of my car!! I was constantly chasing the Sales Person for updates, just to be fobbed off with " oh the cam belt needs replacing, along with various other parts, to the mechanics previously used were not very good and the vehicle has been sent elsewhere to be worked on"...the Sales Person has since given up replying or updating me & I have moved onto the Manager, Sani.
Spirit Motors have now moved to Kirkhall Lane, Leigh and I went to see Sani on 9th August to discuss the car and he telephoned the mechanic for an update and confirmed the car would be available for collection today, but that again was LIES!!!
Today when I rang Sani to request my £500 deposit, he said I would not get this as it was non refundable....I told Sani his Cowboy Company broke our agreement, not me and I was entitled to my money back. I have now requested a charge back on my card & I will get this back in due course....SAVE TIME & DONT BOTHER USING THIS COWBOY OF A COMPANY !!!!

I don't normally leave reviews but I wish someone had left this for me.
If I could give zero stars I would, horrible experience. They were all very lovely and nice when I bought the car - had an issue the next day (ABS warning lights came on which is an automatic MOT failure, I.e the car isn't roadworthy). When I rang back to tell them about the issue I got shouted at. When they relented and said they would have a look at the issue, then told me I would have to pay for it which I disagreed I got shouted at. When they eventually agreed to fix the issue, said they did, and then the issue came back the day after 'fixing' as well as more issues - guess what, I got screamed at it again. The further issues now included a leak and the car alarm going off randomly throughout the day and night. Got the car taken to their other garage, who also said they fixed it - they fixed the leak, but the other issues reoccurred within a month and kept going. At this point I'd gotten a bit sick of being screamed at and left it, meaning I had to leave my car unlocked so the alarm wouldn't be going off, and accepting at the next MOT that it would fail as the ABS light was still on. However, three months later (4 months after buying the car) the engine completely failed and I am now having to sell the whole thing for scrap (oh yes, their 'warranty' doesn't cover anything). Every garage I have been to about this car (I went to other garages for second opinions of each issue as I didn't trust this dealer anymore) has said I've been royally screwed over. So please learn from my mistakes and don't buy from here.

Son bought a car from here. Within ten minutes of leaving the garage it had a rattling sound. Didn’t think any more of it as he had a long drive back to work. 200 miles away. Engine light kept coming on. Paid for a diagnostic check, garage were informed of outcome, bolts missing from the wheels, numerous issues. Asked for a copy of the pre- delivery service information, not thing received. Don’t respond to calls or emails. An absolute disgrace. Will be continuing with our promise to report them.

Got my new car from Spirit Motor Company. Staff was frendly and helped a lot. Love the car runs perfect. Would defintly recommend to anyone looking for a ride.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Absolutely appalling. Faulty car, engineer appointed via finance company and the report shows multiple errors with the car at the time of purchase. Customer service has been shocking throughout. Finance company have agreed a refusal of sale so taking the car back. I would avoid this company at all costs, rude and dishonest from start to finish.

Spirit Motor Company exceeded my expectations! Their team was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire car-buying process. After 17 months I have finally been refunded for the cost of the car I unfortunately bought from here, by my credit card company claiming under Section 75. Please check some of the positive reviews as some I suspect are written by owners / employees and Trust pilot have removed at least one that was written by the owner.

(Avoid this place ),spirit motor co farnworth, i went to see a car on there forecourt full of marks scratches ect dodgy brakes highlevel brakelight was missing big hole where it should of been ,big peace of interior boot trim missing to was told we dont know where it is ,terrible to go to a dealer to see cars in such a state , i was told dont worry we will fix everthing car be ready 7 to ten days which it wasnt , constantly fobbed off on the phone with bs theres a problem with the brakes but we dont know whats causing it , told em keep the car now fighting for refund of 500 back told cant have it back now taking leagal action against them, absolute joke of a garage , who opperates a big garage like this with cars in such a state, , i looked at other cars on the fourcourt all the same rough they buy cars from auctions as one of the staff told me as i asked , what garage has cars full of dammage on there forecourt and advertized then says we will fix them if you give them a 500 deposit , seems to me once they have your money they dont give a toss , i went to a garage i thought ide get good service when all i got was a headache from them , i would never recomend anybody using spirt motor co, 😡 look at some of the other reviews , wish i had of had a look at there reviews first before i went 😡

Shocking company, waited one month for the car to be delivered, excuses after excuses that they needed parts and paint. I asked them to send me over by email of what works have been done, It did not get sent , i asked again to what works have been done, i was promised that there would be a full report in the car for me to read on delivery, Eventually after many phone calls and what's app msgs the car arrived, after being told it had a 115 point check before delivery, On delivery No report of works , The car had been poorly repaired after an accident,Fumes leaking into the car, plus oil leaking from the Turbo, wheel bearings worn out, it was a mess, It was then taken by myself to a third party inspection who were shocked and horrified by the condition of the car and the issues it had. I tried to contact Spirit Motor Company, re the condition of the vehicle. No surprise they ignored the issues, I contacted the finance company Close Brothers who also tried to sort out the issues. Thankfully Close brother took control of the situation, and took the car away and ended my finance agreement. Shocking dealership.
