I actually got to speak to Adam a friendly, helpful human - without going through a maze of menu options!
Everything explained in a straightforward manner & they will even contact the existing provider to close my account.

I really don't understand how Truespeed…
Update 27/06/2026: Despite truespeed asking for my details via Trustpilot before replying to my post, they never got in touch with me. The internet is down again, and their customer service centre closed at 4pm on Saturday so left with emailing them and no doubt no contact all weekend. Truespeed is, in my experience, the poorest internet provider I've ever been with.
I really don't understand how Truespeed get such good reviews. That has not been my experience.
Internet quality is poor. Yes it's fast, but unstable and provides a really poor experience. Even on simple things like Teams calls. It is unreliable and patchy at best.
My recent experience is that my WiFi has gone down and I cannot get hold of anyone at truespeed. I've tried to call countless times over the last 24 hrs with no success. Being on hold for 20-30 mins at a time. Emails are not answered quickly and customer service experience has been disappointing. I should have known from the beginning when no information was left with the router, there is no app and no ability to apply parental controls to your WiFi, unless you know every website you want to restrict.
Generally just really disappointed and I can't wait for my contract to be up.

Helpful initial interaction with Truespeed
I received a flyer through the door about Truespeed and as am contemplating a switch from my current provided gave them a call. I spoke with Matthew Vailes, who could have not been more helpful. I had a number of questions and these were answered helpfully, with no pressure to proceed until I am ready and able to do so. It was really good to be able to speak with someone who understood my situation and was able to provide the information I wanted.

The product on offer is reasonably priced and very competitive with other similar products.

Great First Impression Ruined
Updated Review (June 2026): I contacted this company in May to inform them I was moving and they said once the old owners move out, they could switch the TrueSpeed box over to me. I have called multiple times and been promised callbacks which have never materialised. I have been on hold for 30 minutes this morning (8:30) despite their opening time of 8:00am. First impression (below) completely ruined.
Original Review (May 2026): I can’t speak for the actual internet service yet, but following my call with Lee Gates-Deville to organise getting set up in my new house I found him so helpful, friendly and informative. We had a lovely genuine conversation which is so nice in comparison to some companies where it feels scripted. Thank you Lee - I’m looking forward to using Truespeed in my new house!

Beware of Truespeed
The worst Customer Service and Complaints that I've ever dealt with, ever. Service very confusing as now have a Router from Truespeed and still one from my BT both working. Had two months free but so many emails asking for stupid amounts and taken from my Bank. Never get response for my emails to them. Just dreadful Company. As a Mature Customer I expected so much more.

New Broadband installation
New Broadband installation carried out today by Truespeed engineer Dave Williams. Installation was done very professionally, neatly and efficiently, with explanation of work being done throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Truespeed has performed as advertised!
On joining Truspeed they had forgotten or mislaid my instructions to port my land-line.
However with only two days remaining on my EE contract, I phoned Truspeed and spoke with Rhys. He acted with "True -Speed" (forgive the pun), within minutes I received and returned another 'porting form' sent to Rhys, days later we had our landline up and running.
Thank you Rhys, you are exceptional!
We have enjoyed Truspeed for just over a month, installation was friendly and painless with no broadband issues, in fact Truespeed has performed as advertised! Thank you!
