I called the call centre after coming home from work,and after switching on the shower the electricity went off.l went to the fuse board and all the switches were already switched on but no power.l got the number for ukpn from Google and I'd say within a minute or 2 the call was answered by a man called Sam.I explained the problem and he said he'd dispatch a technician who arrived within 30minutes( l couldn't believe it) and thr problem was resolved within about 20mins of his arrival(a main fuse had blown).The service was 1st class from sam to the tech

We recently had a power outage, and it was quickly resolved within 10 minutes by UK Power Networks.
We were kept up-to-date through text messages and we were very happy with the restoration of the power in a timely fashion.

During the power outage we experienced we were regularly kept up to date on the progress of the repair up until and when power was restored

I was informed of reason for the power cut within minutes as well as a planned repair schedule along with an expected power return time.

I found the notification & updates very helpful during a recent bout of power cuts. When the power just goes off without warning, it's very disruptive, but the regular updates from a maned technician were ver welcome, and reassuring that the power outage would be fixed as soon as possible.

Information was given voluntarily and immediately.

Advised me to the power failure before I'd noticed it! Kept me advised throughout the situation and afterwards explained the cause of it. Very impressed.
