Straight in, got price, picked a high quality carpet and booked in to fit around my schedule… super friendly staff in store and excellent fitters.. wasn’t our first carpet and won’t be our last from United Carpets.

Quality at a good price.
From our initial visit we were impressed with the helpfulness of staff & experience in guiding us through the processes of buying a new carpet. If you haven't bought one in many years it can be quite daunting.
The fitters were amazing, professional, friendly & certainly the best. Moving furniture nothing was too much trouble. A great team.

Ordered 3 carpets
Ordered 3 carpets. ...bought wrong one to my house , fitter was arsey about my opinion went to peace without fitting....few days later cane to fit the rest, bought no grippers with them, stating I hadn't ordered them, I did when I knew I needed them, damaged a door frame before and the 3rd carpet this week was badly fitted and looks shocking.....they don't really listen well to your wants and needs when ordering , just want the money, then tried charging for grippers after paying nearly 2k in carpet....management and communication on company is rubbish aswell some of their contractors...be wary. Never again...too much stress. Oh and they moan how you want it fitting when shop agreed that's ok. Just a car crash week with them.

In reply to your posting on trust pilot pertaining to your recent purchase from United Carpets and Beds In Burslem. As a business we strive to ensure that all of our customers are completely happy with any purchase they make and in the rare instances where this is not the case we take action to put right any valid issues.
In your own case I would acknowledge our error on delivering the bedroom carpet on the day we were scheduled to fit your lounge however this error was quickly rectified with the Carpet fitter returning to our store and returning to you directly with the correct carpet
In relation to the gripperods that were missing at your property; as you are aware you had previously instructed us that gripperods were already in place however this turned out not to be the case. In the event as a gesture of goodwill we provided the missing gripperods free of charge.
With regards to the quality of your installation I understand from the independent fitter who installed your carpets under separate contract and that you actually gave him a substantial tip such was your delight at the quality of the installation . It is therefore difficult for me to Equate your actions here to any dissatisfaction on your part with the quality of the fitting service which you received .
Finally I would respectfully point out that we also have a duty of care to our staff and are concerned that any Indepdendent fitters who work for our customers are treated with courtesy. Unfortunately the threatening behaviour emanating from yourself towards members of the team means that regrettably we would not wish to be considered for any flooring requirements that you may have in the future.
All around excellence.
Excellent knowledge to help us pick the right carpet for our lifestyle. Excellent price. And the fitting service was super fast and excellent quality.

Great service and a really friendly bunch. Everyone was helpful with the whole process of carpeting my house - from choosing the carpet, getting the measurements right and the fitting service. I was a returning customer because I remembered how good they were the first time I used them.

From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel welcome - especially our children. The staff went above and beyond to include our little ones in choosing the carpets, making what could have been a mundane shopping trip into an enjoyable family experience. They were so patient as the kids wandered around the store, touching different samples and getting excited about the textures.
The team's expertise and friendly approach made the whole process stress-free. They offered valuable advice without being pushy and took time to understand exactly what we needed. It's worth mentioning they offer a 10% discount for Blue Light Card holders, which is a fantastic gesture for our emergency services, NHS, and social care workers.
Their product knowledge is outstanding, and they helped us find the perfect carpet within our budget. The service was professional from start to finish - from selection to measuring to fitting.
Would highly recommend Burslem Carpets to anyone, especially families. It's refreshing to find a business that makes children feel so included in the decision-making process while providing top-notch service and value for money.

Our experience in store was great and…
Our experience in store was great and we bought from them on 2 separate occasions. The first time the fitters could not do enough for us and did a great job. Unfortunately the second lot of fitters left a lot to be desired. We are oap and need help moving the bed because it was too heavy for us although we moved everything else out of the room and were told in store it would be ok to ask for help. They were very rough about it and broke a chandelier but did not tell us then they stuffed the bed mattress in the bathroom and left it for us to get back on the bed. They were not friendly or nice and I would not want them back Not sure if they left bits under carpet as it feels a bit lumpy

From the initial customer support to the carpets fitted, faultless, the interaction in the shop, the deals, the expert advice and the excellent service of the fitters, nothing was to much trouble. Sandy is goes above and beyond to help you out. My whole house needed new carpet. She always kept you in the loop on the progress. The fitters were very friendly. They even helped move a few furnitures around. Affordable quality carpets
