I took my car to Vines of Guildford BMW for a water-pump replacement. I was told the repair could not be carried out under warranty and was quoted £1,350. I was very unhappy with this, particularly because I bought the car from the dealership only around a year and a few months ago, so I asked for the car back without the repair being completed.

When the car was returned to me, I found that my BMW fragrance dispenser had been dismantled and thrown into the dashboard compartment. I took a photograph immediately afterwards showing the dispenser in pieces inside the compartment. Regardless of the disagreement over the repair cost, I expected my vehicle and its accessories to be treated with care. I am extremely disappointed by the way the car was handled and returned to me.

Went for a service. Overall, a fantastic experience. Great customer service, comfortable seating areas, didn’t have to wait too long either. My only gripe is there is never enough parking. I’ve been a few times and every visit is a fight for parking.

Inefficient compared to previous experiences

My X3 showed a message on the dash saying I needed a quality enhancement on the steering gear. I called Vines Guildford who booked me in promptly, completed the job when they said they would and Shannon kept me informed of progress. You cannot ask for more than that - thank you all, including Jon the technician, who kept the car clean and tidy.

My X3 was in for a starter motor replacement on a waiting appointment. Not only was it much quicker than expected but the car came back cleaned in and out and they had conducted a health check to ensure there were no immediate issues needing attention. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

Ed and Blake went out of their way to help after finding out I was driving the car on a long distance drive with my family In a few days. I came in and Greg and his apprentice Joe were able to look at the car, take the car for a drive and found the fault.
I can now head on my journey in confidence.

The end-to-end process was smooth and easy, with timely slot reservation, booking-in on the day, and a faster service process than expected.

The courtesy clean (interior and exterior) was appreciated too!

Consistency good service from the team at Vines for multiple cars.

Service department has always given a full breakdown of cost and work that has been required.

They’ve also dealt with special requests (e.g. particular tyres) and helping get a rebate from BMW for a faulty air conditioning system that needed to be fully rebuilt.

I experienced great customer service, as always, from the team at Vines. I’ve only scored this feedback at 3/5 as BMW seem to have forgotten the value of providing free courtesy cars these days. A real shame.

Took the car in for annual service and MOT with a few extras included.

Had great customer service from Jess on arrival. The video provided by Matthew was very clear, articulated the state of the car in detail and with honesty (advised against a prior advisory being complete at a significant cost saving for me).

Car was nicely cleaned upon pick up with a clear and detailed post-service report provided.

Couldn’t ask for much more than this hence 5/5 (I had a similar experience last year so felt the need to write a review).

Enquired about an expensive BMW which had been in stock for months and received a rather sharp response from the sales person. Not a dealership I would want to buy from with that sort of attitude.

Recently bought a 1 series BMW at Guildford Vines. The sales exec Harry was extremely helpful. Paperwork on exchanging old car handled really efficiently. Very good customer service.

Shockingly bad working practices and poor communication.
I placed a deposit on a Motorcycle , the next day was told it had been advertised at an incorrect price.
They then added a further £2k to the price.
