I bought my car on the 26th of May, it turned out it had a faulty head gasket and I sent it back to be sorted out. It is now the 3rd of August and nothing has been done about it. I’ve contacted them numerous times, I’ve sent countless emails and I’ve personally gone into the branch for assistance, but still nothing. I own a car that I’m not driving, is sitting at WebuyCars PE and I’m paying an instalment on. It’s an issue they admit was their fault, but they’re still trying to be cheap and go through my warranty and get they keep getting denied cause it should be out of their pocket. I’m at my wits’ end and my last resort is taking this to the Ombudsman.

Went on the web to get a price gave me a price of 10,500 at the meeting place with you sell your car they offered me £7250 absolutely absolute disgrace. The car was in immaculate low mileage and no reason why the price difference should be ashamed of themselves very very very bad did sell it on motorway for 10,750 thank you

Just wanted to let you know, I just had the worst experience ever with one of We Buy Cars.com branch offices. Didn't show up at an appt. that was set, Didn't call to cancel the appt., Didn't honor the quote when another rep answered the phone when I called, Most of all didn't care!! I own 2 businesses, integrity is of the upmost part of my business! You shouldn't have customers waiting for an appt that was never going to happen, for a quote that he tried to change during the process of giving unacceptable reasons for missing the appt. Just call and cancel at least. Very unprofessional. Wasted a lot of my time.

This company should be ashamed as the advert on TV is complete load of lies the price they offer online is nowhere near the price they give you and they still take more money off for paperwork or charging you to get ur money that day when an immediate transfer costs nothing to do .Sell ur car privately rather than using this complete rip off site .Disgusting

I visited the WeBuyCars dot com website and J.D. popped up a chat window where I asked him about the in-person process involved in buying a car. He refused to provide any information and repeatedly demanded the private data of the vehicle that I wanted to sell. I told him that I felt like he was "playing hide the ball," and then he closed the chat and remotely deleted it from my browser in an attempt to prevent me from posting here.

Surprise! I used to work there too. The company is in the business of overstating vehicle damage for negotiations, cutting price offers in half in the case of 2nd visits, and forcing you to sign power-of-attorney forms.

Many former employees and I formed a labor union in an effort to reform the company's conduct, but the company fired everyone and replaced us with independent contractors. We didn't hire lawyers, so the U.S. National Labor Relations Board lawyers cozied up with the company lawyers and did nothing.

To be clear, a power-of-attorney authorizes them to act in your legal name. The legal effect is that YOU are selling your car to an unknown wholesale recipient, which can create an income tax nightmare. WeBuyCars is simply a middle-man that skims off the top. They don't actually take possession of cars. This is why their offers are so low.

I should note that WeBuyCars has replaced TrustPilot with something called, "Shopper Approved," in an attempt to avoid honest reviews. Um, yeah right... a review site where all shoppers approve? Really?

Thank you to Zhane at Strathpine office for great customer service nothing was too much trouble as I still required my vehicle for a couple weeks, they were happy to give me a deposit for my car, and full payment straight away once I delivered it. Very much appreciated Zhane, regards Carmel G.

We offered to sell a 2014 Jeep Limited in running condition. The online offer from We Buy Cars was $3800. After over 2 hours of waiting at the Holcomb Bridge location, they offered us $500.00. We went to Carmax the following week and in less than an hour we walked out with a check for a much higher price. Don't waste your valuable time with We Buy Cars.

The branch at Richmond WBC are fraudsters and take their customers for a ride....
This is the 2nd time we wanted to buy a car from them. First time they couldn't assist, gave me alot of stories. We went to another car place an within a few days after i sent my documentation I got approved an got my car (BMW) no stories no hassles. Second time around we went to WBC in Richmond again after a year to buy a 2nd car (BMW), we got a car i wanted the sales guy Tristan said I must send my docs an he will sort it, they then asked me for more Info, but failed to tell me 3 days after i viewed the car and send the more info they needed, the car was already sold to a cash buyer, which they did not make me aware of I even made the manager Mike aware of it, but he just said he will look into it and did nothing about it.. I then saw another car which it went so far as being approved twice by the bank I even signed god knows for what thinking the deal done an dusted, cause they told me its going for a service an i can collect it... Only for the FI lady Daniell to tell me she done everything humanly possible to mke it work... It got decline,, for what an how i still don't know... Their customer service are so bad i don't advise anyone to go to the Richmond branch they choose who they want to help...

I purchased a Dekra Gold vehicle from you guys at an auction as a cash deal and have had the most painfull experience in my entire life dealing with your team during this process!

The vehicle was purchased the 13th of March, a BMW F30 and I flew down on the 16th March to fetch the vehicle. Vehicle had an an issue with the I - Drive and salesman Mathew said they would get it repaired. I flew back to joberg at my own cost. Since that date numerous promises to have the vehicle repaired and i was given a date on the 26th of March so i flew down once again at my cost.

Once again vehicle wasnt ready and the sale was handed over to Lindelani. Came to the dealership on Saturday as i was supposed to drive to Joberg on Monday the 01st of April. James the sales manager assured me vehicle would be ready Tuesday 02nd of April and which it was at 13:00pm. I arrived at the dealership at 2pm to fetch the car. Filled out papaerwork and still car couldnt be released at 5pm due to some admin process. I flew back to joberg again at my own cost. James promised to courier the car to me in Joberg but as i write this complaint the sale is NOT yet completed by the we buy cars administration.

This was a cash sale so i am absoletly and utterly dissapointed at the process. We buy cars need to relook at their processes and people should be made aware how painstaking it is to buy a car from your company.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service I have received from one of your salesmen, Ryan Eksteen. As a loyal customer who has purchased two cars from your dealership, I expected a certain level of professionalism and integrity, which regrettably has not been met.

During my recent interaction with Mr. Eksteen, he requested that I obtain a roadworthy certificate for a vehicle purchase, assuring me that I would be reimbursed for the expenses incurred. Despite his assurances and repeated promises of reimbursement by November 2022, I am dismayed to report that I have yet to receive any refund as of the present date.

This situation has caused me considerable inconvenience and financial strain, as I had to bear the cost of the roadworthy certificate with the expectation of reimbursement. However, Mr. Eksteen's failure to fulfill his commitments has left me feeling deceived and betrayed.

As a reputable dealership, I had hoped for swift and efficient resolution of this matter. However, Mr. Eksteen's consistent avoidance and empty promises have only served to exacerbate my dissatisfaction with the level of service provided.

I have reviewed this company before but to no avail. They asked me for my story, I gave it to them but nobody cares. its 8 months later and my vehicle is still not under my name. Every bad review this company gets is 1000% deserved. They turned back the KM on my vehicle and I proved it and they just ignored it. Then I tried to just at least get the vehicle under my name... 8 months later and they still have not send me my paperwork!!! There is no company worst than this. You might be a bit lucky with a vehicle from them but if I could give any advise do not buy here!!!!!!! You will regret it. Just read the reviews this is not a honest bussines!!
