People beware - they are misleading , rhey are liars and thieves especially in the fine prints .

When purchasing vehicles especially on finance - be very careful and go through your paperwork in every detail. Also - the dekra reports ? Don't belive a word of it . They will tell you it's passed roadworthy only to find out there's loads of issues which they will take no responsibility for .

Service history ? Forget about it ! They will tell you that it's complete and up to date only to find out that it's been serviced 3 years ago last . They then make you pay for this and takes no responsibility or accountability at all .

One of the worst companies u can do bussness with. I bought 2 vechiles which I wait more then 25 days for the registration papers. The add say 21 days but if u phone them they come with a story of 21 working days. There is no reason u have to wait so long and both this vechiles is without a valued licence disk.

Useless, just a bot, complete time wasters, would give them a zero if I could

Bad Bad Bad Experience and Unhappy Client....I bought a car and made the payment ,webuycars on their side made a mistake and invoice my car on the wrong references number and said it had to be re invoice ,Something that takes 5 minutes ,They made me wait for 4Days From the Friday I purchased the car and had to wait until Monday 1PM to be precise to be served ,I work in a invoice department and re-invoicing order is something that takes 5 minutes to do. IF it was a white person that would have been resolved then,Unacceptable !!!!! All that just because I'm a black woman who was all by herself and did not receive the same treatment everyone else received. It is about the color ,The manager did not care that I missed who and that I was in trouble with my boss for spending hours while waiting on them with a lot of lies . Unhappy Client and I will spread the truth wherever I go about this bad experience. BUYING FROM WEBUYCARS IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. AN ADVISE TREAT PEOPLE WELL IF NOT ONE DAY YOU WILL END UP LOSING ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS. THE VALUE YOU GIVE TO THOSE WHO BUY EXPENSIVE CARS IS THE VALUE EVERY OTHER CUSTOMER SHOULD RECEIVE.

Over a week from application to purchase a vehicle and havent heard anything back from their staff, either they are not that interested in seeling vehicles to willing buyers or they overwork their staff to such an extent that they dont have the time in the day to get back to a willing buyer

Don't trust them
They give you lower price in the market.
Go by private dealer and sell it.
Don't waste your time with this online dealer.

een trying for over a month to get a duplicate eNatis, for which we have paid. After several false promises of getting it done, as well as providing a permit for driving a vehicle which has an expired license, we have received nothing. Most of the promises were unfortunately made verbally. Nonetheless, we are still waiting for the duplicate eNatis, and to say their communication is bad would be acknowledging that they actually communicated, which they DO NOT!!! Do not buy a car from these incompetent and utterly useless people!

I am having trouble retrieving a disk for the car I purchased from we buys cars in the south

Li and her team are holding it hostage. I have gone to the traffic department and paid what was needed on my end.

I then was instructed to pay an additional 500 or so for them to give it to me as the traffic department says I cannot collect but girl in the middle has.

Now after following up multiple times and not getting proper responses I am being accosted again for another 600 to get some other company to give me my disk.

Then to top it up the permit they issued me to drive without the disk isn't even valid!!!!
Since August Ive been struggling if anyone can assist please advise

Horrendous service!!

Bought a vehicle which needed to be transported from Gauteng to Cape Town. Not one person could inform me how long the process would take.

Phoned their "customer care" number and the woman I spoke to actually said "So, what do you want me to do about it" and then proceeded to hang up on me.

I received really great service from Elmar De Lange at We Buy Cars Gqeberha, His service was nothing short of exceptional, very helpful throughout the process of buying a car having it delivered to the We Buy Cars Germiston branch until collection was completed.

So about 2 weeks ago I bought a vehicle at the Pietermaritzburg branch, a Land Rover Discovery to be specific. Everything was fine and even the test drive was amazing and I was very pleased. A few days later, and I mean less then a week the vehicle's fan wouldn't go off after switching off the vehicle which would eventually drain the battery. I called and explained to the sales' agent what was happening, they said I must open a complaint online which will be answered within 72 hrs. After waiting that 72 hrs, not having a vehicle and all the inconveniences it comes with, I was assigned an incident report with a ref no 44537. I was told to get a quotation of the problem and the current milleage on the vehicle, and I did that. They then told me that I must wait another 72 hrs for them to approve this repair. What gets me off is the fact that they really do not seem to care about this problem I'm having. They are giving zero attention to the Consumer Protection Act. I have even gone as far as including lawyers in this matter. I'm even considering taking back the vehicle and holding them liable for any further damage to it on my way there because of the issue I had reported. Sorrry to say that I'm really disappointed by WeBuyCars and for this kind of treatment I'm getting after a sale, there's no ways I would encourage someone else to go there because they will just leave you in the dark once they get their money.

Purchased a vehicle on auction. Dekra all clear and roadworthy done - don't put any faith in this. Major problems with the ignition and overheating. A test drive didn't pick the problem up either but when I found an information sheet from webuycars stating the overheating issue in the cubby I realised that they did me in. NB: The consumer protection act will not protect you in an auction - you will need to prove that they did this deliberately and intentionally can't wait for the class action lawsuit.

I bought Polo Vivo on 1st of September in We Buy Car Gqeberha,the car engine knocked just before Peddie,I called my sales lady and she organised a towing truck,I told them I no longer want that car,I need a refund,I have been sent back and forth by Charleston Ruiters who happens to be a manager there,it has been almost 4 weeks waiting for a refund,I can’t get hold of Charleston he says he is in a training,after waiting for almost 4 weeks,I am told the application is still with the refunds department,can somebody call me before I take this with the ombudsman

STAY AWAY FROM WE BUY CARS IF YOU WANT A PEACE OF MIND, JUST BOUGHT A CAR a polo cross 1.6 2013 model. ON THE 14TH OF JULY 2023. IN RICHMOND PARK, THE SALES PERSON IS REIGHNARD DE KLERK. DEKRA SAID TO HAVE HIGHLIGHTED THE PROBLEMS AS ONLY A STEERING RACK AND THEY CLAIM TO HAVE FIXED IT.
I JUST DISCOVERED THAT THE CAR WAS NEVER SERVICED AS THE SALES CLAIMED TO HAVE SERVICED IT, THE INSIDE LOOM IS FAULTY, CIGARRETE LIGHTS, RADIO MULFUNCTION AND THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLLERS ARE NOT WORKING. THE CAR IS STARTING TO SMOKE, THE BATTERY IS A 2017 ISSUE AND IS NOW MALFUNCTIONING NOW THE CAR HAS TO BE PUSHED. FALSE DOCUMENTS WERE PLACED ON THE CABRIOLET BY THE SALES PERSON (REIGHNARD DE KLERK) CLAIMING TO HAVE SERVICED THE CAR. HIS MANAGER WAS SARCASTIC WHEN I TRIED TO LAY A CLAIM AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOW GHOSTING ME.
