I Mr K Govender purchased Hyundai getz from webuycars Springfield Park branch,I had a look at the vehicle which I was happy the dekra did not mention any signs or warnings of the engine over heating from the 03/12/22 I took the car to one of my mechanics who then said this vehicle has a leaking /seeping blow cylinder head gasket.I didn't use the vehicle the car Is being parked of for about 2 _3 weeks ,so it was during the festive time I was on holidays so when I got back to durban. I visited the branch I spoke to Justin tonder who was happy to assist and told me to bring the vehicle through they will have a look at what's wrong I then went ahead and told him that I don't want to drive the vehicle back because I stay at tongaat and the vehicle could get worse and breakdown on route so he suggested that he can organize their breakdown services to fetch the vehicle in a day or 2 which was not true it's been over a week that I'm contacting them to find out what's going on because I'm left without a vehicle I've made several attempts to speak get then to sort the vehicle or to take another vehicle from them,from my point of view webuycars are the biggest bullshiters I will never recommend any friend or relative to purchased from these guys it is disappointing and their services are poor being a big company

I bought a car 3 months ago from the Dome branch, and thiswas the worst after sales service i have ever seen. Was told to collect my car at 13:00 left there at 17:30. The vehicle was dirty, my tracker wasn't fitted as it was supposed to be installed. The licence disc expired. I had to drive back x2 to get a permit. The passenger window didn't work at all. They sent me to two different rmi companies for a quotation. Witch the first one i had to drive to randburg just to drive there and be told to come back on monday. No response or feedback from we buy cars or their complaint department. Still awaiting over 3 weeks now. Just to try and get my window fixed. Paying R264000 for a vehicle and this is the service that one gets. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

Received the best service from Devon at the Port Elizabeth branch. I would highly recommend. The sales person was very friendly he answered all questions and went the extra mile to satisfy us.

I bought a car from We Buy Cars 3 months ago. After 3 days of receiving the car the car broke down and left my mother on the side of the road. I then went and bought a new battery. After a month the car broke down again.. I was told to tow it to an RMI dealership to which I told the agent he will need to tow it at their expense... needless to say after 3 weeks of having my car and not a single word of communication ( not even knowing where my car was towed to) we got the car back.
I then had to make numerous calls to find out where the car was and what was wrong with it, I have still to date not received any feedback although the car was then delivered back to my mother.....
And Guess what the car has just broken down again.
I am absolutely livid and would suggest anyone reading this steer away from purchasing a car from this place.
Customer service is absolutely shocking and there is no communication from anyone...

Stop do not purchase a car warranty from protect my car the rules changes after you buy your policy I had a 50/50 policy next thing I know I had 100% policy where I had a pair of my pocket and then they would reimburse me the day and Mercedes-Benz to get my oil changed you get two free oil changes a year they said no that's no good longer with his policy that's an old policy we really don't enforce the old policies so so he have to pay up front and will reimburse him when I forgot my policies that's not the way it read from protect my car I get two free oil changes a year that's what I'm saying protect my car changes the rules in the middle of the game do not have to go through this headache

I visited the Springfield branch of We Buy Cars, and I was pleasantly surprised at the customer service I received from a young friendly gentleman by the name of Mr Noel Shunmugam. He answered all my questions and talked me through the whole process of how i could get financial help.

I have received the most appauling service from We Buy Cars in Nelspruit. I am an active buyer, wanting a vehicle in their stock and it's been over a month and I have gotten no where with anyone from their team sales and finance team. They simply do not communicate with their prospects. Their marketing is great but their service is beyond unacceptable. I have bought many cars in the past and have never experienced this before.

Sold my car to Webuycars, on inspection the salesman constantly tried to downplay the perfect condition my car was in. On trying to negotiate a better price the salesperson kept spinning stories about the vehicle and that the make/brand of car is not a high ticket item for them and that they are basically doing me a favour by taking it off my hands

Due to time pressure, I accepted the offer, only to see that they have advertised the car for 45% higher than what was offered to me. I find it poor show that they implied my vehicle was not worth much on the market but actually have made a hefty profit from my car....

We received a good service from Dewald and Tiffany in the P.E branch from the day we went and view cars till the day we buy one, Dewald found car for us, he and Tiffany help us with an easy sale on transferring car money I can say they are excellent and great consultants. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

I found WBC really unprofessional. As a woman I went there thinking I would receive good service from a reputable company. Big mistake! Lack of communication, undisclosed finances and incomplete information. Was very close to canceling the deal. Will not recommend them to anyone

Entered car details for a price on my 2016 Toyota Corolla.Got a call next day.Two days later was given a price and we proceeded with the paperwork.Final contract sent by secure digital process.
After paperwork was signed mechanic inspected vehicle and money was transferred to my bank after his inspection.Car carrier picked up vehicle today south of Bundaberg to travel to Brisbane.
All the guys were fantastic.Much easier than trying to sell it yourself.

Don't BS your car's condition

I have bought and sold cars multiple times with We Buy Cars. I was very disappointed by our experience today. Spent allll day finding a car, finally found a great option and were getting ready to do the finance only to be told the car is on auction and we can't buy it. We test drove the car, nowhere on it or near it did it say auction. Truly truly disappointing and I would not be keen to attempt to buy from them again. Their attitude was totally unapologetic and more oh well.

The staff were wonderful! Couldn’t thank them any more! Especially Claire who was lovely to deal with!!!

Proper gentleman and super professional. Even though I could not proceed forward, he still made sure I knew about other alternatives as well. We should have more people like this around in Sales.
