Extremely poor! They gave an attractive on-line valuation, then reduced it at the actual appointment, but didn't make it clear enough that the reduced offer was only valid for a *very* limited time. When I contacted them a few days later to accept that figure, they reduced it again. I very reluctantly accepted the much reduced offer, but four weeks after completing the transaction they have just sent me ANOTHER e-mail offering to buy the same car, at the initial higher valuation. Very shoddy record-keeping and IT systems when they offer to buy from me a car that they have already bought!

On the 23rd I visited We buy cars silverlakes, I meet a friendly, bubbly yet professional sales lady by the name of Maggie Burrow.You could see by the level of customer service conduct that she loves her work, I told her my budget and she took time taking me through options until I found what actually suited me and that was the A200 Mercedes Benz Avant-garde.Would like to Thank her for the Wonderful Service she gave me, will refer friends to ask for her when they visit Silverlakes 💐💐💐. She's a Star🌟

We went to purchase a bike, checked it out, paid a deposit as we needed clearance from the bank.while waiting I needed insurance nd my insurer could nt find any details on the bike before 2005. Also the bike was worth 37000 nd the price was 50000. As a client I hve a right to refuse the sale due to that, nd I cancelled the deal. Dep of R2000 should be refunded but payment done on the 17th nd to date 26th of July no refund. Then they need a letter from my hubby to release the refund we payment was made with my card nd we married in cop. Right now I'm so frustrated😠, it's nt funny!

The whole online purchase setup is a waste of time. I have been pre-approved and waiting to hear back for at least a week now. When you call them back, they are constantly busy (which I understand because it is a warehouse full of cars) but I mean a week and no word?? If your staff cant keep up with the load of work, maybe you should hire more people. Every buyer needs to feel welcomed and assisted. I definitely won't recommend this place at all and I am at a stage where I want to withdraw my application completely and take my business somewhere else.

A few weeks ago, I enquired about a car. A few days go by and no response. After about a week, we are informed the car is sold. 2 Weeks ago I enquire about another car. I wasnt too happy with it and then declined. The next day I asked for pictures of the interior. It is more than a week, probably a week and a half. I am still waiting on the pictures even after contacting customer services. Now the car is in process of a sale and they say they cannot assist me nevermind that I was interested from before. Non the less I wont buy anything there as they dont seem to care about assisting customer queries. They only seem to want to go straight into a sale.

bought a bmw 1 series 2013 model at we buy cars silver lakes branch on the 18th of May 2022 and few weeks down the line on the 13th June 2022 the car broke down, it just decided to stop along the way, the car was stated to be a category A at the dealership and they stated it doesn't have any problems but when I got the car the automatic stop start system was not working, some of the things were missing from the car like the car boot tray, and car cigarette lighters... And because I also purchased it with a warranty I towed it back to the dealership now when I call to know about the status they tell me they are still assessing the vehicle and they will have to get approval from innovation warranty to fix, now Its been few days and i am struggling to go to work without a car... Why is it that when they want their money it must be due in time but the services we get must be a long process

Recently bought a car from WE BUY CARS SOUTH, and was assisted by Anton Viljoen and their finance lady Chandre Nelson. I specifically asked the sales rep for a specific date for repayments to begin, and when he said it can't be done, I opted to cancel the whole deal, only for him to speak to their finance lady and make an arrangement...to cut the long story short, they have no business ethics and were untruthful in every possible way. And when I enquire about what was happening, Chadre very rudely via text said that no one forced me to sign anything and to take it up with their complaints department if I have an issue. They are selfish and don't care about their customers, just chasing to make a sale

Absolutely disgusting service and most horrifying experience I had!!!!

Bought a car at We buy cars at Midstream.
The very next day the engine stopped working and left me with my whole family stranded on the side of the road in the dark.

Called the sales person 1 day later only to be told I have to bring the car in. Which was impossible as it wouldn't even run-start. (Never mind all the steam and smoke that came from the engine the night before!)

They eventually collected the car that morning and then our nightmare began.

We have been talking to so many different people now in regards to a refund. 2 sales people / managers said we will get a refund the others said we won't.

So since 6 days, we buy cars is sitting with our money and the car!!!!

The refund is being refused now as a mechanic has to check if it's really the engine that has stopped working and today we are being told that we will have to wait another 2 days before the mechanic will tend to the car!

We have tried every channel possible to get our money back and are now at our wits end.
No customer care consultant is able to help, nor the sales man who sold us the car nor any other person who has been 'dealing' with this issue.

There is absolutely nobody who is taking responsibility in trying to sort this out, even after explaining numerous times that we already loss of income as we are not able to work and also have children that need to go to school.

Please do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER buy a car from them.

I was approved for the Chev Captiva 2.4 LT Auto at the banks and applied for finance because of the Dekra report and what faults there were.
He said I would have it by Wednesday the latest and he was taking it to Dekra again for a full report.
I was confused as the website states Dekra FULL REPORT SUMMARY .....
How can it go for Dekra gain ??
So now the sales guy Imran at Brackenfell branch said he has a situation with another client and just passed me on to Marcon his senior I was told.
I called Marcon and his phone was off...
I drove to the branch and stood by reception for over 15 min waiting until she called his cellphone and passed the phone to me.
Marcon had no idea who I was and what I called for which is very unprofessional ....
He now told me that the CV joints were damaged and needed to be replaced, but the steering noise as the Dekra report states on their website is not a concern it is the CV's ?? False reports then ??

Now the Dekra has changed and the price also at my expense ?
I do NOT want to damage my credit score by applying for finance the whole time and this impacts me negatively ..
Marcon said he would assist by sending the info to me by end of day today 6 pm and to no avail ….
Still waiting for the documents to sign off .....

In short they made me wait for 15 min like a fool,no one was on site, the Dekra has changed and the deal also, the ETA frustrates me and the very poor customer service I received ( HORRIFIC !!! )
I want the vehicle less all this other hassles and changes if possible ?
Why does it have 2 DIFFERENT reports from the same company ?
What is going on ?

It would help your customers feel more at ease if your incompetent staff could learn customer relations ...
A phone call goes a long way and if you say you will call or send a mail then DO IT !!! Pathetic service really ..
