The branch at Montague Gardens are fraudsters and take their customers for a ride. One of the Managers there, Elroy even told me he protects his employees and I was shocked because in their home page they mention customer service. I suspect the salesman man get get kickbacks from customers by selling potential customers cars to other customers. This happened to me when the car I was approved of was sold to someone else by Dolrain, the salesman presumably he got kickbacks from lies. The service stinks

I was looking to get rid of my car that has been sitting in our driveway and get some cash for it. Everything started out great, kept upping the cash offer price they'd give me for my car. I set up a time for them to come to pick the car up. Talked to many different people in the mean time, with ALL DIFFERENT responses to the same questions. Some said, they don't let you pick a window for them to come pick up the car. Then they're so busy, they're working late, someone will be out to pick up your car today, you're on the list for today for pick up, even if it is at 9:00 at night. I never got any phone calls about anyone ever coming for pick up or to call and say they weren't going to make it out for my car that day. It is now the next morning, I called once again to find out when they're coming, and they still couldn't not provide an exact time or even a window that they would be showing up. For paying $22 for getting the title notarized, and all of this hassle, they should be giving more money. Now here I sit and wait once again all day, for HOPEFULLY someone to be calling me today to pick it up. How do people have all day to sit around and wait for these phone calls to be coming in? They're supposed to be calling an hour prior to pick up. I work full time with four children, I cant keep switching around my work schedule and kids for when these people are "supposed to" be showing up. Ridiculous. Do NOT use this company to buy your car! Horrible process, everyone tells you different things. Horrible. Always making excuses as to why someone hasn't been there yet. 12:00 I get a phone call from the dispatcher that they are 15 minutes away from my house. They show up. Showing on their end that we get NOTHING for my car. Driver doesn't know if he is supposed to get the title or not. I'm calling into wheelzy, get put on hold for 10 minutes. I hang up, call again. Put on hold until the girl reaches out to the manager - come to find out there's a new girl who didn't "release" the information correctly. The driver is talking about taking the car, going to get a check (from where ever) to then bring it back and put into my mailbox. In the end, the driver wrote out a check and handed to us. WORST EXPERIENCE! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

If I could rate them one star I would. What a joke.

I bought a vehicle form WeBuyCars (The Dome) just under 4 weeks ago. When we purchased the vehicle, we noted that the license disk had expired 3 months prior. We were promised that the change of ownership would be done within 3 weeks, then we would be able to do the licensing.

After three weeks we started asking, complaining, and eventually fighting over this issue. We were promised that it would be done. We were promised a permit that we could use in the meantime. It is now a week later. Not only have we not received the registration documents OR THE PERMIT, we have not even received a call from the salesman (Tafique) to give us an update on the progress. A change of ownership can be done IN ONE DAY. There is no reason for this to take so long. In the meantime I have to illegally drive this vehicle daily.

And please do not send me your automated response saying it will be handled shortly. I lodged a complaint with the complaints department A WEEK AGO. I received an email (with NO REFERENCE NUMBER) that promised feedback within 24 hours. Still nothing.

I paid cash for this vehicle. I need my registration document, or I need my money back. Simple as that.

I have had the pleasure of working with 2 very professional people from this company (Durban Branch) Rovan Naidoo and Keegan W (sorry dont have his full surname) when I sold my car. Rovan went out of his way to give me the best deal possible, he is very professional and knows this industry very well - I felt confident he had my best interests at heart and Keegan has excellent people skills. I just noticed in some of the below reviews that this guy keeps complaining about cars being sold from WeBuyCars, which is is impossible, as WeBuyCars buys cars, not sells them. WeBuyCars will actually come to your location and provide a competitive offer/rate with an immediate payment, sometimes within an hour after you call. The guy who keeps leaving the reviews is either a competitor or someone that has an upset with some other business and I get it and understand. Hope he gets it sorted out. Just wanted to put this out there.

We are in the middle of a very bad experience with we buy cars and unfortunately it's costing us the client more than just the money we are losing.

Please don't ever buy a car from we buy cars.

I bought a VW Tiguan for my wife cash from them and the Dekra report showed nothing wrong with vehicle.

We bought the vehicle cash and since we bought it it's been standing for more than a month and we buy cars just doesn't have any aftermarket service whatsoever.

Now the gearbox needs repairs and it's costing us 70k and we buy cars just doesn't want to assist with anything.

Their service is poor they are lying to their clients and in my opinion their Dekra reports are fraudulent.

Never ever ever in your life buy a car from we buy cars.

Bought a car at we buy cars. The car gives problems, the staff is extremely unwilling to help. The F&I treats you as if she is doing you a favor instead of actually just working for her commission. Contacted customer care multiple times for assistance regarding my issues. No one ever responds. A lot of empty promises and lies. Car wasn't even washed on handover date. Head office can't assist. For your own sake keep away. (Siverlakes branch)

I was given an online quote of 7500. Upon arriving they did a vehicle inspection. I bought the car not even 6 months before selling. Covid19 has been rough so thats why i sold it. They offerd 5500 after looking at the car. The computer system they used said the car was only worth 5500 due to a couple paint chips in the front right bumber and it having a accident on the car fax which i new about when i bought it. I paid close to 10000 thousand for the car. But being in a tough position i took the money. I also took a huge hit on the check they gave me. I dont have abank account and have to use any check cashing place. I tried walmart and kroger which only charge 8 dollars and they both wouldnt cash this check the. I had only one choice and that was checks mart. They charged me $550 to cash it. Needless to say i took a big loss because i needed the money. They also charged me for their own processing fees. Of over $300 which came out of the vehicle price that was supposed to be my money and i had no idea until looking at the receipt.

These are complete time wasters in my opinion. They offered me a below market value price for my car but I accepted it because they were going to call to my house to collect it and I would have no hassle with it. But boy was their hassle!

First of all they never turned up to look at the car as agreed. I had to keep ringing and texting them. He then said that someone would come the next day. But no one came the next day, instead I had to deliver the car to them, even though the price agreed on for the car included collection. So, I brought my car to them to look over before confirming the deal but the next thing they started saying there was a load of stuff wrong with the car (which no other mechanic has found wrong with the car) and they said there was a funny noise out of it. However, when I asked what noise he was talking about, it could no longer be heard coming from the car. As far as I can see they were trying to create problems with it to justify offering a much lower price than our agreed upon deal. I would save myself a lot of time and hassle and avoid them in future.

I was quoted a price online by Justin, and he told me that price would probably go up upon inspection. When the person got here to inspect they said the body lines were off (normal body lines for this car) and it may need body work. They then low balled me on the price. Don't waste your time with them. They are just like any other used car dealer trying to make you feel like your car is a piece of junk when it's not.

Many are there to work but there are few to outshine all, one of those is Adrian Pearce from Sidcup branch who have excelled in my situation when I was having difficulties with my finance company to release my clearance note in order to receive my payment. Even though I handed in the car @ Charlton branch, Adrian from another branch gave me a call to rescue me. hence I wish the company will reward him for his excellence.

The process of getting my car valued, booking an appointment and taking my car in was easy. Des (Ipswich branch) was very personable, informative and made it about me, getting the best deal for my car. Any decrease in the initial online valuation was explained to me and I think the final offer was fair.

Process was swiftly done. Cannot complain. Car was slightly under valued than what was originally quoted but if you want fast service you have to prepare to have lower valuation. Overall, very pleased.
