NIETS BESTELLEN BIJ DEZE SITE

Ik heb op 20 november 2025 een bestelling geplaatst en het zou uiterlijk 2 november worden geleverd. Het is inmiddels 7 januari en ik heb mijn producten nog steeds niet.
Inmiddels 5 berichten gestuurd (want ze hebben geen telefonische klantenservice) en ik krijg steeds hetzelfde bericht:

"Hallo Marc, Bedankt dat je contact met ons hebt opgenomen, en mijn excuses voor de vertraging bij het ontvangen van je verzendinformatie. Ik ben blij je te kunnen laten weten dat je bestelling het productieproces heeft voltooid en is verpakt. We wachten momenteel tot de koerier zijn systeem bijwerkt met de trackinggegevens. Vanwege vertragingen binnen hun netwerk, graag tot 72 uur wachten voordat de trackinginformatie wordt gescand en beschikbaar is. Als je nog vragen hebt of extra hulp nodig hebt, aarzel dan niet om contact met ons op te nemen. We zijn er om te helpen! Met vriendelijke groet, Shannon Zavvi"

De ene keer in het Nederlands, en de andere keer in het Engels.
We zijn inmiddels 2 maanden verder en ik heb nog niets ontvangen.. Zelfs geen bericht betreft een hele hele hele lange vertraging....

If I could give 0 I would. Order placed on 14th Dec as part of my son’s Christmas present. Money taken despite website advising account would not be debited until dispatch! I have sent messages via online contact form on 23rd Dec and 5th Jan. Neither have received a reply. About to report to my bank for fraud. Avoid!

If I could give zero stars I would
No news on the gift I ordered nearly two weeks before Christmas
No response to recent request for refund. No response to my previous one star review except for on here - clearly an attempt to try and save face. Avoid avoid avoid!!

Be Prepared To Wait!

Shocking - Ordered gift on 7th December, order still shows as "processing". So not yet dispatched, unable to cancel and item still showing as available to order for any new unsuspecting customers.
I accept that deliveries may have been delayed due to Xmas volumes but Zavvi's delivery time / service and response times is woeful. Will not be using again and will be warning others to be wary.

UPDATE Like many others I have received the stock response from Kayleigh @ Zavvi on here to say the customer service team will contact me. Hope they do but nothing so far! Not Good.......

FURTHER UPDATE - 14/1 GOOD NEWS!
Goods have now arrived so “Better late than never”
Clearly Zavvi have been overwhelmed by both Black Friday & Xmas orders.
I will change my review from 1 star “Shocking” to 4 stars - “Be prepared for a wait”
At least my fears that Zavvi were about to go bust have not been realised & I will now order again.

Made an order a month ago for 48 hour…

Made an order a month ago for 48 hour delivery, still hasn't dispatched, messaged their help centre two weeks ago, still waiting for a reply and I can't even cancel! Absolutely terrible company, not reliable at all, bunch of thieves

Late for NL and not NL subtitles

it took 2 weeks for the DVD to come to the Netherlands, While it is a dutch web site too. Very little information about DVD blu ray. not about sub titles. i presumed therefore it had dutch subtitles but when it came after 2 weeks it did not have. bummer

Ordered in October items that they said…

Ordered in October items that they said would be realised in January to find out that everywhere had the items in November. 1 item dispatched in December. Trying to cancel order and you just get ignored. They say 24hrs reply or 48 in busy periods but its been 2 weeks without reply. Should have definitely read the reviews .

Had een bestelling gedaan als gast. Krijg geen bevestings-email binnen, alleen voor de review op trustpilot. Het lukt mij niet om een account aan te maken,(bevesings-email komt niet aan, ook niet in junk/spam filter) waardoor je dus geen contact op kan nemen met de klantenservice. Een acoount is verplicht voor contact met de klantenservice. Vraag me af of ik de bestelling ooit nog ga ontvangen. Tot nu toe geen goede indruk van dit bedrijf.

No Communication and No Customer Service Number to ring

Ordered from them before with no trouble. I had placed an order on 18th December 2025 which still says Processing.
I knew and expected it not to come before Xmas but its now the 30th December 2025 and still nothing from them.
If you want something from them expect a huge wait for your parcel.
They used to be reliable.....

Long-time customer disappointed with recent experience

Not terrible, but far from a great experience. I’ve been a Zavvi customer for years and have never had a single issue before. Their shipping used to be reliable, affordable, and well-packaged. However, my latest orders from over a month ago are still “in processing.” I keep receiving notifications saying they’ve been shipped, but it appears those are only generated when a label is created, not when the parcel actually leaves. I also get regular automated emails saying they’re working on it, but there’s never any real update.

I contacted customer support and only received another generic response, followed by a warning email telling me not to contact them again as it would push me to the back of the queue—which is honestly baffling. At this point I’m not sure whether I’ll ever receive my orders or if I’ll need to open a PayPal dispute. Either way, this is probably my last time shopping at Zavvi. There are plenty of other retailers who seem to value their customers more.

UPDATE:
They promptly responded to my review, but in reallity never contacted me to help resolve my issue, therefore minus one star.

UPDATE 2:
To provide further context: I placed an order on 29 November, received no meaningful updates, and eventually cancelled it. Another order placed on 17 November is still unresolved. Although the order status on Zavvi.nl shows as “Sent”, in reality only a shipping label has been created and the parcel has never been handed over to the carrier. I am now in the process of cancelling this order as well.
I contacted their customer support to cancel the order and waited over 72 hours for a response, but received none. After months of delays, misleading order statuses, and a complete lack of communication, I have no confidence that this order will be fulfilled. I will therefore proceed with a PayPal dispute to recover my money.

For clarity, this review applies specifically to Zavvi.nl (EU/NL store). Based on this experience, I cannot recommend ordering here. Also, it seems that their Trustpilot page just generates automated replies, because nobody ever reached out to solve the issues.

UPDATE 3:
Refund was issued immediately via PayPal after opening a dispute. It's a bit disappointing that this was the only way to resolve this matter.

No answer regarding my customs duties issue

Does not reply to my messages anymore, although they stated they will reply within 48 hours.
I wrote a message on 17 December 2025 and now on 25 december still no answer.
It is about the custom duties I have to pay and they stated they will refund those.
This is regarding my order 722932969 placed on 23-11-2025

1st UPDATE:
After your answer below there is still no answer within 48 hours with the revelant team of Zavvi. If tomorrow 30-12-2025 there is still no answer, then I will reject the duties payment, so the order will be send back to Zavvi.

2nd UPDATE:
The answer came on 6 January. Too late as the package is already on the way back.
It took them 20 days to answer, while they said it would be no more than 48 hours.

I don't know what happened to Zavvi because I have often some questions and there was always a prompt answer. Further they always send my packages very well packed. Occassionnaly lost packages were resend or refunded. The delivery times is not so fast. Approx. 2 to 4 weeks to the Netherlands. Also before they paid back the custom duties. I'm not sure if they still do so. With this expererience, it looks like they don't refund anymore. I will ask this with another message.

Waarschijnlijk oplichting

Geen enkele actie nadat bestelling is geplaatst. Meerdere malen contact op proberen te nemen zonder reactie. Denk dat ik de bestelling en het geld op mijn rug kan schrijven.

Mijn vrouw heeft eind november iets besteld maar nog steeds niet binnengekomen. 3 keer geprobeerd contact te krijgen. Alleen de eerste keer een reactie met dat ze geduld moest hebben. Nu nog steeds niet geld terug. Het ging om een kerst trui dus niet meer nodig. Wat een slechte klantenservice

Niet aangekomen en geen contact te krijgen

Ik kreeg een tracking gemaild en volgens die tracker hoorde mijn pakket binnen te zijn. Dat is niet waar, ik heb mijn bestelling ruim op tijd besteld en nog steeds niet binnen.

Ik heb al een paar keer contact proberen te zoeken en elke keer krijg ik een automatisch antwoord met: we reageren binnen 24-48 uur. Dat is dus ook een dikke vette leugen, ik heb nog steeds niks gehoord of binnen.

Als je je geld wilt weggooien zou ik zeggen: ga je gang. Ik verwacht toch geen reactie terug dus tegen m’n geld kan ik ook wel doei zeggen.

Erg jammer dit.

Dreadful experience. Like many many others. Ordered in good time for Christmas but no dispatch and still processing. Get general response via online help form but nothing happens. Dreadful experience and I wish I never ordered from them.
