I ordered 5 Italeri paint shades, I received an email saying there was a slight delay on my order.
The order duly arrived 10 days after I placed the order, so I was very satisfied with the service and communication from 1001 hobbies, I would therefore recommend them very highly.

All works the way things should when buying online.

I ordered a set of Call to Arms figures last Sunday evening.
The package arrived, well packed, thus afternoon at 3.00.
I know this does not give redress to any less fortunate reviewers.
However, when a sellers honesty is questioned, its only fair to speak as you find.

Ordered a bunch of Gundam Model kits 2 years ago 11/09/2023. Received 3 of the 5 kits. Still haven't received the other 2. They just keep claiming it's on order and that they can't cancel the order or refund. Thus stealing your money! How long do they expect us to wait on orders they clearly have no intention of restocking?

Terrible company. Avoid.

Scammers! Do not pre-order anything from this site. They will hold your money in perpetuity, shift the availability/delivery window constantly, never update you as to the status of your order, never send you your order, and only refund you 75% of your original order total when you've had enough. Scammers!

Bought 2 walking dead bobble heads, about £45 each over a year ago. Of which I never received. I sent about 10 emails and had no reply! Don't buy from them. Bad service.

Appaling service, worst possible experience, avoid.

I ordered a Funko Pop in December 2023 due for release April 2024. Then delayed to August 2024. Now delayed to December 2024. Other people have theirs already.

I cannot cancel the order, they do not answer my emails, live chat is broken and best of all? 'If you wish to cancel a pre-order you will pay a fee of 25% of the price'. Wow.

Run away, avoid, never give them a penny. Terrible broken website, appalling service, they are thieves.

I just received my LOTR sculpture today. 08/28/2024. It took like 3 weeks but it arrived perfectly. I was initially a little worried but the item did arrive. This business is NOT a scam and IS LEGIT. They might want to work on their Email service for customer updates, etc. Two weeks went but and my order was still "In Processing" according to the website before it shipped.

Normally check companies on trustpilot bought paint masks for my model on 8th August emailed then said would be posted on the 16 th week later not arrived. Got my money back off PayPal. French company if I’d realised that I’d not gone anywhere near them . Only used them as I had trouble getting these paint masks. Hope they go out of business looking at the reviews on Trustpilot.Au revoir 1001

Watch out!! They took my money but not send my product. Do not order here!!

I ordered a Pokémon collectable for my daughter. I paid (thank goodness through Paypal) it took me contacting the company to learn it was our of stock and they won't get anymore. They still have my money at this time.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered from them. My son wanted a specific model and directed me to this page. I ordered back in February and they took the money however I am still waiting for the product! They keep changing the pre-order availability date and refuse to refund me.

Update - after a whole year and countless emails and complaints they eventually agreed that they could not supply the product that they had taken my money for. They had no choice but to refund the whole amount. That does not make up for the fact that my son never received his birthday present and I was without my money for more than 12 months!

Bad experience.
It was only place I could find Tamiya Acrylic Retarder, so I ordered 2 and a couple of other items. Delivery of the order was delayed for a couple of weeks. I had to chase several times and eventually the box turned up. When the box arrived, my items were covered in the contents of a shattered primer jar. Bearing in mind these were coming from France to the U.K you would think they would be packaged in a way to prevent breakages. Wrong! 5 jars of liquids in a cardboard box, with a single piece of packaging paper to protect them. They weren’t wrapped, or taped up, or protect in anyway to prevent them breaking. The fact postage was £7 was laughable.
I raised a complaint and the response has been terrible so far. I’m still waiting for a refund for the primer and postage. No apologies either.

Another bad review for this company. They hide the fact they are in France, didn't let me cancel my order when I realised even though nothing had been dispatched (I didn't want to wait for customs clearance); when the goods arrived late I returned them at my own expense and did not receive a full refund. They don't respond to customer communication. I certainly will never use them again.

I ordered from this company like many before reading the reviews to my cost.
Five panel liners where sent in a box far to large with little to no packaging.
What was left of the contents when they arrived had leaked through the inappropriate packaging/box the contents were smashed .
Several emails to the company and still no response as to what they intended to do about it , really disappointing to say the least .

They sent me someone else's order. When I reached out to explain the situation, they told me to coordinate with the person on the package to exchange correct shipment. Now I'm in charge of shipping? Then they stopped responding to my inquiries. SHOP WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Misleading, French not UK based, UK Customs charges will apply.

Unfortunately I saw the reviews too late, to my dismay. This is a French company misleading consumers into thinking they are UK based. They are NOT in the UK. They hide the fact they are based in France and they illegally charge VAT which is reflected on the invoice you receive and on their website at point of sale, yet when the item is delivered, you are slapped with a UK customs charge. They tell you nothing about this.

I purchased a Prime 1 Studio statue and was subjected to a £214.34 customs charge for delivery by UPS. At no point during the whole sales process on their website do they state that you will be faced with a UK customs charge, falsely pretending to be a UK company and UK based. You are being double charged VAT.

Their customer service is unsympathetic.

I do not understand how they are still in business and are allowed to have a UK website to trade from misleading UK customers by pretending to be UK based. It is a very dishonest and an appalling business practice, I certainly won't ever be using them again.

I put an order ( All might bowl) in my 'basket' and wasn't ready to pay for it yet so I moved away from the site intending to go back next day. Then I got an email telling me i had not checked out and paid yet. It's up to ME,as a customer to decide when I'M ready,not some money grabbing nobody that is desperate for a sale and I told them so. They kicked me off the site and i went and found it for a tenner less in a shop.
