Ash was clear and concise… really helpful

Number one for me is not being put on hold when calling. I just hate that and would not hesitate to switch companies based on that alone. You guys are great. I got a quick response and to top it off she was easy to understand with an Aussie accent. That's my other big gripe. Companies that have their call centres off shore and you just can't understand their accent. I've hung up on these people in the past and black list those companies. They think they are saving money, but in effect they are doing themselves a dis service for the sake of Australian jobs and saving a few bucks. So the bottom line is :-
1. Answer calls promptly.
2. Have Australians on your help desk.

Satish was extremely professional, courteous and empathetic throughout the call. He explained each step and the reasoning. Furthermore, when I inquired about solar, he informed me about some of the pitfalls other providers are not forthcoming with, yet 1st energy is completely transparent with all the facts

The sign up process was very easy and intuitive. No complaints at all.

With increasing electricity and electricity rates from 1st July in Victoria I decided to finally "bite the bullet" and look at getting a better deal to try to alleviate my ridiculous rising momentum energy bills.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of discount 1st energy was offering at a "compare" website. But, was dreading how complicated the changeover would be. How wrong was I? The process was so quick and simple and the customer service team member Satish was a delight to chat with as it all went through.

(In fact I only felt compelled to write a review, which I never do, because the service far exceeded my expectations ... well done 1st Energy and Satish)
