The stair lift is for my brother and his wife who are both 93 years old. I contacted your company based on my husband‘s experience with Acorn during his employment at a mobility store in Florida. Beginning with a phone call to your office and the appointment with the estimator, as well as the installation person, they were all wonderful people to work with. My brother and his wife are very happy with the stair lift and the ability to enjoy the lower level of their home again. Every member of the Acorn staff was professional, compassionate and efficient.

Friendly sales staff. The representative who came to measure for the device was friendly and professional. The installer was knowledgeable and professional. The stair lift works very well with a small footprint.

Starlift installation and installer review.
The gentleman who installed the Starlift system was extremely professional, and his detailed review on the use of the system was very clear and covered all aspects of its use. He helped us navigate the system before he left and was courteous in answering our questions.
We have used the system only a couple of times, but so far, we are pleased with its performance. Lynne and Gary April

A pleasant non pressure stair-life purchase
The salesman (Charles) was pleasant and informative. A phone call to Max helped clarify a few issues. A appointment for installation was made for the day after my conversation with Max. Carlos did the installation as scheduled. He made sure I understood how to use the chair lift. There was no pressure to purchase a Acorn product. This was a pleasant experience

Mike sure lift from the landing to the basement
My chair lift from the landing to the basement was bumpy and made me feel like it was catching something on the way up the fellow came out today and told me that was normal, but I hadn’t ever noticed it before and so I went back up and he tightened the screws and said he was sure that that would improve them. After he left and I had to go down to the basement, I can tell you it was just just bumpy as it was when he got to the house.

Gets the job done
I like the fact that I have access to the lower level of my home however I feel the stair lift is not as solid or sturdy as Arrow stair lift I had in our previous house. In my attempts to get to the lower level I feel almost like the chair is leaning forward and I may fall off or the chair may give way. It was considerably lower in price than the Arrow lift however I don't think I can recommend it to others.

The timing for having our stairlift…
The timing for having our stairlift installed and the professionalism with which ot was installed was excellent. It fits our needs and house very nicely. I was disappointed about one thing. When I purchased the stairlift I was assured that the cord at the top, in our main room was to be white to blend in with our white baseboards. However, it is black with a black box which stands out very unattractively in our livingroom.
I am very displeased with this since I made sure to ask about it and was assured by the salesman that it would be white. Very disappointing!

Acorn Stairlift Does What They Say!
The Acorn Stairlift Company has followed through with everything the personable salesman told me. He explained all of my options and let me decide. No pressure...no hurry to get through with my appointment and get on to the next. The installer was very careful to get the lift installed in the safest manner without any damage to my existing staircase. His explanation of the correct/safe steps in using the lift was clear and concise. He then had me use the lift to be sure that I understood his directions. I was able to complete the purchase with the installer; I didn't have to leave my home for any of this process! The final price was just what I had been told - no surprises - and I have used the lift daily since the installation. It works beautifully and I am happy with the choice to work with Acorn Stairlift.

Changing my life!
Quick, effective, and polite. Jim was great. He answered all my questions. Also made recommendations that help me decide. I use to go downstairs 2-3 times a week. Now I go 4-6 times a day. Has really changed my life!!

I have been an owner of an Acorn…
I have been an owner of an Acorn stairlift since 2014. Now that my wife has passed I tried to keep up the maintenance plan but it has become totally out of hand what they want you to pay. I can't pay $345 a year for a plan that pays for nothing more than a serviceman coming to my home. I haven't used the lift in four years and refuse to pay their rediculous prices,

GOOD, FAST, and CHEAP
I look for three simple things, GOOD, FAST AND CHEAP. The Acorn is a high quality, rock solid machine that also looks good. Service was prompt, and the installation took less than 5 hours. We have a complex, curved staircase. The Acorn price came in $8,000 less than their nearest competitor.
