Separated Delivery
I had to call up to pursue items that were being dispatched separately due to being stocked elsewhere. Jason was incredibly helpful providing me will all the information and reassurance possible. He even went above and beyond by chasing after my items to ensure they would be with me ready for a day trip on Sunday. Phenomenal customer service from a lovely bloke. Thank you very much.

Great customer support! I had an issue with a missing delivery and Jason was extremely helpful in assisting me locate the item, which was a great relief to me. Furthermore, Jason was able to provide some much needed advice on an angling matter, his subject knowledge is comprehensive and was given freely. Well done Jason and the Angling Direct team!

Shocking!
I don't get it! I place an order in good faith, plenty in stock. Local branch out of stock. They ship part of the order too late, missed my delivery window. I call in to cancel, they say it's already shipped. Arrived 3 days later and now the REFUSE to collect or issue a shipping label!!! Totally unprofessional.

Great friendly service in store too
Can only say good things about the 10+ separate transactions with Angling Direct. All items received were well packaged and delivered promptly by either DX or Royal Mail. Great prices and delivery costs throughout the year especially more so for AD members. When I’ve been in store service has been next level (Wilmslow & Crewe branches). Witnessed great support to other customers when at the till etc. Recently returned an additional item via email, support provided by Jason was most professional and swift. Thank you

I ordered a Diawa Nzon Keepnet as it was good deal, so I placed the order and paid.
After numerous emails back and forth I have just received one stating the item is not in stock, so why let me order it and pay for it
Extremely bad customer service
I have requested a replacement Keepnet of equal quality of manufacturer such as Preston innovation but I won’t hold my breath

NO SORRY SIR WE CANT DO THAT
Please people do not use this sham of a company, there are many other companies that give a better service

First Class company
I purchased a side tray for my seat box which was damaged on receipt, after notifying the company I was contacted right away & notified of a replacement sent in place: I can’t fault this company at all & would highly recommend them

Very poor when something goes wrong
Very poor when something goes wrong, I returned an expensive set of bib and braces as they didn’t fit.
I spent nearly £12 on recorded delivery as I didn’t want problems.
After over a week of them receiving them I had heard nothing so emailed with no response.
Then called and was told they would look into it and call me back, nothing?
Called again and told that they hadn’t received them.
I said I had photo evidence and a signature that they had, their response was that delivery companies make mistakes!
I insisted that they were definitely wrong and that they had received them, I must admit to getting angry on the phone and the guy said if they turned up I would get a refund but he wouldn’t be able to do anything else.
Fortunately they found them and I finally got a refund but they were not easy to deal with and if they had lost them regardless of my proof they weren’t about to do anything about it!

Would not use again. Use DX courier who are useless. Long waits on phone to try and get refund. Pretty poor.

Customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds with angerling direct but I will be going elsewhere in the future

Ordered an item 7 days ago and still…
Ordered an item 7 days ago and still not dispatched. Contacted customer service 2 days ago and was told they are busy at the moment and they are adding 2 days too their lead times, 2 days have passed and no notification of dispatch has been received. I am currently waiting for 20 minutes on the phone to find out what is going on. Do not spend your money here the service is rubbish.

Order 520634556 Date 31/10/2025 .Shipping Method - Standard up to 5 Working Days. To be more clear, today is 11/11/2025 . After placing the order, excluding saturday,sunday, 10 days have passed. I sent many messages to Angling Direct, to which Michael only responded once... The answer sounds like this: Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry but we have had a delay with warehouse dispatch due to some maintenance work. I have prioritised your order and asked the warehouse team to process this ASAP.
Sorry for any inconvenience ] . After that, three days have passed since the priority processing and nothing has changed in terms of priority. Product not shipped, ... priority service, just to make fun of the buyer... Angling Direct, buyers are put on the lowest level, we are objects of ridicule.

I’ve had small problems with previous…
I’ve had small problems with previous orders such as floats arriving broken but let those go. However this time I ordered a rod that was not delivered. I was then lied to about it being out of stock despite it still being very much for sale and with plenty of stock on the website. It’s the lies that really annoy me. The item is now however twice the price so I imagine that’s why they have cancelled the order rather than supplying the rod I ordered and paid for. Very disappointed. I only wish I could get my membership money back as I will not order again.

Take orders, no stock.
Don't inform you, just leave you waiting.
Don't reply to emails. 9 phone calls just to get hold of someone. Only to be told that they are out of stock. Quick enough to take the order. If this is the future of the angling retail business in this country then we are totally up the creek without a paddle. Not a great company to deal with, in my opinion. Won't bother again.

Absolute First class customer service…
Absolute First class customer service from Derrick. I had lost a part from my new Bivvy that was not available as a spare part. Derrick took to time to source the part from a returned, faulty item and post it out to me free of charge. It arrived the very next day.

I needed a replacement groundsheet for my bivvy and the guy on the phone (Jason) couldn’t help me enough, he kept in constant contact with me and sent me every update he received to keep me in the loop, all round great customer service and support

When a bivvy is not a bivvy
I ordered what I thought was a bivvy and I turns out it was an addition al outer layer.
Jason was most helpful and located a bivvy at a store close to my address and then arranged with the store that they would hold for it me until the weekend . At which point I can return the cover and purchase the bivvy.
Jason was so helpful with options and then speaking to the store , I am very grateful .. thank you
