The handling of my request was fast and friendly, the solution to my problem generous.

Device did not charge at purchase.

The dealer directed me to Bikefinder, which I found unacceptable. After contacting Bikefinder, the dealer received the following message:

"I reached out to Bikefinder regarding your device and was informed that when new in the package, they are initially set to sleep mode. To activate the device, it needs to be charged using a proper adapter that supplies sufficient power. It may take up to 2 hours for the lamp to light up and start the battery charging process.

If a low-power adapter is used, the charging process may take longer. Their suggestion is to charge the device with a suitable adapter for at least 5 hours before assessing if any issues persist."

Despite following these instructions, the issue remained unresolved. Consequently, I returned the product to the retailer citing the Distance Shopping Act.

location ist mostly bad (more than 1 km), update not possible, bluetooth breaks down often, warning sound not remarkable. Support always too late. I am not really happy with that.

Mein erster Bikefinder war durch einen Produktionsfehler leider von Anfang an defekt. Der Support wollte mir daher einen neuen Bikefinder zuschicken. Das ist mittlerweile fast einen Monat her. Zwischenzeitlich hab ich noch mal per Mail nachgefragt. Man wollte sich kümmern und dann melden. Das ist mittlerweile auch wieder elf Tage her und natürlich hat man sich nicht mehr gemeldet.

Good stuff, my bike was stolen today. I was able to track it down and retrieve it in the same hour

First device failed after 11 months. No hassle getting a new one sent. Had some problems with setting up the new device but I think this was issues with the app not the device. All wiring ok now.

Simple to set up and use. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because, having multiple bikes between myself and other family members, i would’ve preferred to be able to link multiple devices to a single multi-bike policy rather than having to have a separate policy for each tracker

I had a situation that the application did not start properly, only a biking guy moving but no map visible. Bikefinder support was not able to help, as they had never seen a situation like that. Finally when I acticated a VPN to my phone, it started. That seems to have something to do with my Wifi Router not letting the application through. The same happened again, and still happens, if I use my WiFi to access the servers. If I drop away the WiFi connectivity, the application starts. I am no kind of a networking specialist nor a guru, so I do not know the reason.

Unable to make payment, tried several times via PayPal. I have moved to another insurance company.

Customer service is beyond perfect. My first bikefinder got damaged and I got new device after contancted bikefinder customer service.

BikeFinder døde plutselig. Tok kontakt med kundeservice og får beskjed om at jeg skal få tilsendt en ny. Jeg spør om de dekker ny sykkel dersom den blir stjålet mens jeg mangler en fungerende bikefinder, men det vil de ikke, til tross for at jeg betaler masse for både produkt og abonnement. Veldig utrygt opplegg.

Good customer service before and after the sale. Very well thought out product and makes me not have to worry about recovering my bike if anyone takes it. Like the insurance option while I am in Europe but will work fine once I return to the states.

At last my electric bike is under control now

I have tried two purchases in Finland and both bikefinders did not work. You offered a new one with discount. A joke. You send me a new one and I will pay 50% price, if it works. I have alreadey paid for a year subscription. U have spent several hours on non-functioning instruments.
