Do they even believe in their own test?
The kit was delivered promptly with clear instructions and I recieved the results before promised. However, the GP report about any results that were out of their reference range was unhelpful. There was only one result I really wanted to know and the doctor said “The elevated levels of rT3 are unlikely to be of any clinical significance , although opinions vary…..”. I was fully aware of the controversy around the significance of RT3 levels. However, why do they offer this test, which they charge a significant amount for, if their own staff don’t believe it is ‘significant’. I was disappointed by this statement.

It sounds like you had a frustrating experience with the interpretation of your Reverse T3 (rT3) test results.
I understand your concern, but please remember our service is aimed at those who are well informed or who have engaged, or will engage a practitioner, to interpret their results.

My sample kit arrived in a timely fashion, containing everything I needed for the blood sample with simple instructions. After posting I was notified that the sample had been received and was fine. The results followed quickly

A good way to monitor your health
I had a great experience with this private company; my blood test was done quickly. It would have been even better if they provided an app to monitor the results digitally.

Poor communication however great service
The test was completed very quickly and very comprehensive feedback.
However I could not get a response from the chat which was very frustrating. I tried at least three times. I was concerned about a mistake in my order.

Great labs but disappointing blood collection
Prior to ordering, I contacted customer service via few times: one advisor suggested they could look at an offer the other said no- pot luck.
The home blood service said their were no specific times noted for collection even though my test did. As I followed her advice, this has caused a lot of anxiety.
She sounded knowledgeable, and she was polite and friendly during the collection; however, as I told customer service (no response) l, this service would be improved:
Wearing a uniform
Showing ID
Hand washing after touching pets (before collection,)
Opening the box in front of the patient to show the syringe was safe would ease anxiety.
Test was returned quickly

comprehensive blood panels, prompt results.
Clear instructions, helpful online support, comprehensive blood panels on offer (only provider I am aware of which does RT3), and results well within the turnaround time (results came at 8 working days, where given turnaround time was 17 working days)- was chuffed with that!

Absolute scam
Absolute scam, incomprehensible emails, with buried links to say you attended an appointment that you already made with them. Blood drawn on Jan 30th, results due Feb 24th. Not worth £300 or anything close to it.

I had a home visit for bloods. Nurse was friendly, gentle and punctual. I Was able to get appointment for nurse visit straight away. Results were returned quicker that expected. Now just the long wait for my doctors appointment

First time using Blue Horizon tests
After some issues in getting an appointment to Circle hospital for having my blood sample taken, I switched to nurse visit option and everything went smooth after that.
Really happy with the process time to get my results (including doctors comments), only two days after blood was taken. Will definitely use again.
