I bought a reserved seat and a few…

I bought a reserved seat and a few weeks later BA sends me an email saying the seat is no longer available. It was available when I bought it and I bought it. They should not be allowed to make it "unavailable" to ME, the buyer. It should be unavailable to any other person who tries to buy it after me. I wrote a complaint and 3 weeks now with no reply. PLUS, the website says if I write to complain about the lack of reply, it will interfere with the timeliness of reply to my original complaint. People need to stop accepting fraudulent behaviour from BA and other predatory airlines.

3rd rate service provider

Flights booked with BA as a present from our daughter to fly to Copenhagen. Numerous flight cancellations between booking and actual flight day but these were only minor changes (hours) so not so irritating.
24 hours before returning to the UK we recieve a notification that our return flight has been cancelled again! Ok, let's see the alternatives BA offer. They rebooked us on a flight the following day via Helsinki which would take over 7 hours (copenhagen to LHR 2 hours!!!!)
Firstly, we had to get back to the UK on our original day of departure. Even asking BA for another flight at anytime that day, they were unable to provide.
Secondly, the lack of helpful information on their cancellation email sums up BA's customer care levels. No mention of we understand you'll need to stay one extra night at your destination and incur extra costs and our late cancellation will cause stress and disturb and disrupt your vacation.. Nothing!
Thirdly, after spending a couple of hours trying to book with a different carrier I had to cancel our 'BA alternative flight' they had attempted to place us upon. We couldn't just do it online..we had to call and wait and then finally after speaking with a call centre god knows where we were told that as we had booked via a third party they would deal with the aftermath. All they could do was cancel this alternative flight.
Totally ruined the final 2 days of our short vacation and shows me that BA is as poor as it gets in offering a service befitting such an 'established' airline.
Never again !

Still waiting on my refund from…

Still waiting on my refund from November 2023. Anytime I email I just get the same response on how it's been passed to the relevant department and they will be in touch. How incompetent is their refund department that it takes 5 months to deal with a refund

Dreadful

Dreadful - I couldn't take my cabin bag aboard as the flight was full (loads of room in the overhead lockers) I arrived at Krakow, my case didn't; they'd put the wrong bar code on it. Reported at Krakow, no spare clothes, half my money missing and no plug adaptor. 7 hours online to the untrained customer service line who couldn't access the baggage system. 3 hours shopping to buy essentials. Case eventually sent to Krakow airport so I collected on my way home. Dozens of messages on X, Instagram, Facebook but the Customer Relations team own the record and you cannot contact them. Social media team a waste of money. 3 weeks after providing my account details, they still haven't reimbursed me and have opened a new ticket for the time I lost on my short break but won't tell me the reference number. No one takes ownership no one keeps the customer informed you cannot contact ANYONE who can progress the issues. I thought Virgin Media were bad at customer service but BA take it to another level - absolutely appalling lack of care and professionalism They should be (but probably aren't) ashamed of themselves

Aflyste fly 4 timer før afgang

BA Aflyste fly fra London til Manchester 4 timer før afgang. Herudover var det første fly fra Hamburg til London forsinket med 2 timer. Så står man i London med 6 drenge der gerne vil se CL-fodboldkamp i Manchester, med billetter til kamp, booked hotel i Manchester mv. og må se den på en pub i London. Ingen hjælp fra BA. Skal nu i gang med en 2-5 måneders kamp om økonomisk refusion....

Travelled with BA Holidays last October…

Travelled with BA Holidays last October to Mexico. Many issues way to many to mention. Sent in my complaint on 23/10/23 and to this day 119 days later I have not received a response. Have made contact numerous times to no avail. Managed to connect to live chat who told me my complaint had been resolved and closed?? Went back to the complaint section to try and get them to send the response only to be told the case hasn’t closed and is still with the holidays team. Emailed Sean Doyle and Calumn Laming but yet again still waiting for a response. Absolute appalling service. I have always always travelled with BA but the service is a disgrace so will not do so again. If you want a guarantee that your complaint will be resolved by the customer relations team if you have an issue I wouldn’t suggest you book with BA

Dårlig kundeservice

Bookede flybilletter gennem billetleverandøren TICKET, men hvor vi skulle flyve med British Airways. Jeg betalte for 1 check in bag, som TICKET bekræftede var booket hos BA, men det kunne ikke ses på min booking hos BA's hjemmeside.

BA's kundeservice er ikke eksisterende. De har ingen mail, man kan skrive til, og deres kundeservice tager en evighed at komme igennem til på tlf. Når man endelig kommer igennem, kan medarbejderen ikke svare meget bedre end en chatbot. Og de ignorerer fuldstændig al den information, man har givet dem fra start. Jeg blev 3 gange bedt om oplysninger, jeg i forvejen havde givet dem. Og de var til absolut ingen hjælp, de blev bare ved med at sige, at jeg havde 0 bagage inkluderet - på trods af alle de beviser på det modsatte, jeg kunne give dem. Og de gad ikke engang tjekke efter. 0 stjerner herfra, flyv heller med Ryanair - selv deres kundeservice er formentlig bedre.

Customer services appears to be run by…

Customer services appears to be run by robots as there is clearly zero responsiveness to customer questions or complaints. After forgetting an item on board I was directed to the local BA email address to enquire about it. When this repeatedly failed to respond I resorted to the pointless exercise of trying customer service. From their failure to respond to my question, directing me over and over to the same non responsive email address, I have become convinced this is a bot. Why have the pretence of having a customer service department when there is none? This can only ultimately enrage customers!

BA if you are reading this I would LOVE…

BA if you are reading this I would LOVE to hear from you as you clearly are hiding behind ALL your phone lines being closed for cancelled flights/refunds BUT funnily enough when I pushed sales somebody answered so you do have human beings taking money off poor suspecting travellers.

I have been a Silver/Gold card for for years and have spent ££££ with BA. Never again.

I was due to fly to Barcelona 22nd May, I checked in and at the airport when low and behold, BA kindly cancelled the flight. Everybody went to the gate where 1 (YES ONE) BA person was assisting either in getting new flights or booking hotels for a whole plane load of people.

I was then put on a Madrid flight same day with an on flight to Barcelona as I needed to arrive next day for meetings.

As expected with BA the LHR to Madrid flight left late so I missed the original Madrid/Barcelona connection I was booked on. Was then put on an even later flight from Madrid to Barcelona and finally got to my hotel at 23:30 hrs. My original flight was BA0480 if BA are reading this (hahahah) due to depart at 14:30 so quite a delay.

I applied for compensation for the delay, sent off copies of boarding passes, details of flights - all this was in early June. Well nothing, nish nada nothing back. I got in contact via chat twice but was told couldn't be put through to the people dealing with the claim but was assured (almost word for word during both online chats) that being looked at.

Then I called again last week but this time pushed sales and, guess what, a human being answered!!!
He suggested that as BA had exceeded the 8 weeks allowed to respond I should contact a company CEDR to get them to help. So I go on line and CEDR charge to do this with no guarantee of success. Now why should I pay a third party to do something that BA should have sorted out quite easily???

I'm still waiting but won't let this drop. It is absolutely disgusting, was months and months ago. So is anybody brave enough to give me some contact details so I can get in touch to sort this out? I doubt it but I live in hope. Case No: Case Number: 25077400

Nothing appears to have improved with British Airways appalling service
I book a lot of flights for people and it is always the same thing

Leider nicht so prickelnd...

Unser Flug mit BA von LHR nach MEX in der Premium Economy hat uns leider nicht so gut gefallen. Am schlimmsten war die fast 3 stündige Verspätung. Weil Gepäck nicht ordnungsgemäss beladen werden konnte. Ein echtes Trauerspiel war das. Dann war der Premium Economy Seat ergonomisch so gestaltet, dass man nur schwer ein Sitzposition finden konnte, in der man bequem schlummern konnte. Wenn die Fluggäste in der Reihe vor dir ihre Sitzlehne ganz nach hinten fahren, ist es für den am Fenster Sitzenden dahinter nahezu unmöglich, seinen Sitzplatz (über den Gangsitzplatz hinweg) zu verlassen. Das Wlan an Bord war teuer und funktionierte die meiste Zeit eh nicht. Also schenken Sie sich das (bei Qatar Airways beispielsweise läuft das viel stabiler). Das Inflight Entertainment war auch nicht auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik, die Akustik über Kopfhörer grauslich. Der Serviceablauf war auch nicht gerade Gast-freundlich. Normalerweise gibt es in der Premium Eco vor dem Essen einen Aperitif. Bei BA bekommst du alles gleichzeitig hingestellt, da wäre ein etwas gestaffelter Serviceablauf Fluggast-freundlicher. Zwei Sterne gebe ich für den schönen neuen Dreamliner und die extrem sauberen Toiletten (während des ganzen Fluges), den freundlichen Service und vor allem für die exzellenten Speisen von Do&Co.

British Airways lost my case for 5…

British Airways lost my case for 5 weeks and did not even try to deliver to me during my holiday ... absolute disgusting service ... they never even bothered to return my enquiries that were sent via their Lost baggage portal ... they ruined my holiday and now ignore me ... what kind of service is this ... any other industry would be dragged across the coals for treating customers like this ... absolutely appalling company....!!

I’m embarrassed for British Airways

I’m embarrassed for British Airways. How has such a great company gone so disgustingly bad. I will never fly with them again. Just read the revues, horrendous. I traveled with them in Nov 2022 from Heathrow, luggage didn’t arrive. It was delivered by courier to my hotel 2 days later. Case had been opened and robbed taking expensive aftershave but more importantly my chocolate stash. British Airways say they don’t compensate for that sorry.

Ingen service efter flyturen.
Jeg bestilte og betalte for et sæde med ekstra benlængde, men fik flyets værste sæde.
Sæden havde ikke ekstra benlængde, det var ca. 10 cm. smallere end de øvrige, for di det var ved nødudgangen, det var placeret skråt bag ved det foranstående, så jeg havde mit knæ på jernstoplen mellem de foranstående sæder. Der var ikke lys eller friskluft over sædet og der var ikke et vindue.
Det var ikke muligt at give mig et andet sæde.
Jeg fik besked på at sende en klage og har nu - en måned senere - fået et standardsvar, hvor BA undskylder, men vil tilsyneladende ikke betale det ekstra tilbage jeg betalet for ekstra benlængde.
Jeg har forsøgt at ringe til dem, men har fået af vide at jeg skal sende en ny klage, da de ikke har telefoner på deres kontor, eller man kan i hvert tilfælde ikke ringe til dem.
Kundeservice af værste skuffe. Det bliver ikke BA jeg vælger næste gang.

Terrible service, useless service….

Terrible service, useless service….

More than 100 days ago, our fly was delayed (2 days), our baggage was thereafter delayed. And finally, we lost all our baggage on the return to Germany – still not located more than 100 day after.

We have made 3 claims for compensation – but has been totally ignored by the British Airways since July.

We have not received anything from BA – not an e-mail, text or…. ? BA chat function cannot help. BA does not answer on social media, e.g. facebook / messenger. And the customer service do not reply e-mails or take call. Extremely frustrating to be ignored, especially when all our bagage still missing!

Furthermore, the help in the airport when the flights was delayed was no-existing.

We booked (and payed more than we would have had at other companies) with BA because of the corona-situation. We believed that BA was a trustworthy company. IT is NOT.

I will not recommend British Airways. If possible, I would not even give BA 1 star. But it is not possible to give a zero!

Damaged Luggage

I don't even want to give them any stars because really they don't deserve any!!!. Arrived in Italy and my brand new expensive suitcase was damaged. This was in August. To date I'm the one chasing for them to resolve this and they are only offering half the price of my suitcase so i am being left out of pocket!!! i was going to use them again but never again!!

Aflyser connecting flight uden at give et alternativ, samt oplyser et nummer man skal ringe på, som er en telefonsvare hvor man skal ligge navn og nummer...de ringer aldrig tilbage...forsøger igennem kundeservice men bliver blankt afvist, skal ringe til nummer i mail. Købte ny billet hjem fra andet flyselskab for overhovedet at være sikker på at komme hjem. Værste flyselskab, hold jer langt væk....
