Cakeworthly has quickly become my favorite brand for fandom-inspired clothing. I ordered their Disney-themed items and was blown away by the quality. DO NOT ORDER from Cakeworthy

Read through all The reviews left by others about Cakeworthy and their Nonexistent, customer service, the rudeness if you can get someone on the back that you may or may not receive the package within a month, even if you’ve paid for expedited shipping. All of the other reviews are completely true and so much more- run the other way! There are so many other great places that stand behind their product and have pride in what they do and stand behind their company. I have never ever left any kind of negative review in my life, but after this month long experience and no, I still don’t have the package. I want to warn others going into the holiday season. Disney, you can do so much better.

Unmatched Quality and Designs that Wow!

Cakeworthy is by far one of my favorite places to shop for pop culture-inspired apparel. I recently bought a Disney-themed flannel and a Harry Potter sweater, and both items have exceeded my expectations. Customer service is terrible- shop somewhere else

Customer service is terrible. They’re so rude. The site specifically states if you write a review you will get 25 reward points. Nowhere does it state a stipulation to this. I wrote the review, they posted the review, and then they stated they’re only accepting reviews by invitation only. But they posted my review… And I received no reward points.
They also recently sent a wrong item in one of my orders. It took two weeks to get a replacement and they offered no compensation. I did not complain at all and sent all the necessary info to get the correct item. Most companies would offer a discount for an upcoming order. Instead, they treat me terribly by refusing reward points for a review.
I have noticed lately that their items are running very boxy/ ill fitting, and it takes a long time to receive the items. They’re marking their holiday items already on discount, so it seems their poor attitude and customer service are affecting their sales.
They do not care about their customers.
No more shopping at Cakeworthy- So many other smaller companies care about their customers.

Two damaged items coupled with rude customer service

Wish I could give less stars. Two items of my order came damaged, with hems completely missing or just a garbage job. The quality of this $42 shirt (I live in Canada) is an embarrassment. Could have ordered something better from SHEIN.

When I reached out to customer service, they said I “couldn't get a refund or exchange” as I had “worn” the shirt. As in, I had put it over my head to try it on. Cakeworthy lost me as a customer permanently today. Let’s see if they post the review I left…

Edit: Like others, I have received this email: Due to suspicions of fraud we are not providing a replacement and have elected to refund, and terminate any further business. We have closed your account, please refrain from attempting any further purchases as they will be declined.

I should add that the only reason that I started shopping at Cakeworthy is because it is a friends, friends company.

I’ve have spend lots of money and yes I do wait for items to go on sale and the first time I inquired about where one of my packages are they literally block me from buying and will not answer any emails what so ever so ever time I purchase this is online of course it gets cancelled straight away and it was in stock I’ve sent 6 emails with no response I’m still waiting on response from February and still missing items from the package from months ago oh also when I reported the package missing and had another order in place already and they just cancelled it but was suppose to be finding out what happen to the package I sent email stating no one gave you permission to cancel my order that is rude and disrespectful I have all the emails I don’t know why it’s not a number to call well I guess I know why because they suck A$& and are greedy and really don’t care about customers at all I wish I could add screenshots of emails I’ve never dealt with a Company this unprofessional and unresponsive in my lifetime

Cakeworthy is a TOXIC company — both their products AND their people! Disney needs to cut them loose immediately!’

Believe the terrible reviews. I wish I’d read them before I made any purchases. This company doesn’t just have BAD customer service, they are abusive, and they are liars.

A. The fragrances products are TOXIC. And they won’t give you a refund even if the clothing makes you SICK.

B. They do not allow returns except for merchandise credit (!!). No refunds, even if the products make you ILL.

C. They don’t stand behind their own published policies. For example, their stated price adjustment policy on their website says they will be “happy” to provide a price adjustment (in the form of a store credit — because they don’t do any refunds at ALL) if an item goes on sale within 10 days of your purchase. I purchased a number of items and two of them went on sale a week later.  When I reached out to request a price adjustment, an insanely rude employee (“the authority” on their policies) they said thir price adjustment policy only applies to final sale markdowns. But that isn’t what their site says at all. It says, quote:

If an item you ordered is marked on "Sale" within 10 days of ordering, we would be happy to provide you with a price adjustment of the difference as store credit. Please reach out to customer service with your order information.
Please note this policy does not cover sales by coupon code, Black Friday/Cyber Monday or limited time promotion. Price adjustments are not provided on products already purchased on sale. Price adjustments are not provided on seasonal products, such as Halloween or Christmas items.”

I took screenshots.

After their first shockingly rude email, I pointed this out, and their replies escalated to a level of mistreatment I’ve never experienced in any retail setting. They were insulting and UGLY. It was beyond shocking.

I could care less if the merchandise is cute… if the people selling it are HIDEOUS PEOPLE, I’m not going to wear their label and advertise for them. These people have no business being in business with brands like Disney.

Behavior like this is truly unacceptable. They need to be shut down.

Cakeworthy = RUDE AS HELL

This store is dope asf and I’ve placed many orders, shipping is usually quick and sometimes sent out, same day. I’ve had a lot of great experiences with them until most recently. I reached out and asked how come my package wasn’t sent out yet ? and instead of just telling me they currently have high shipping (which i found out a few emails in..) i was spoken to condescendingly for supposedly not reading their FAQ. By the way, all their first reply was “these are our shipping guidelines” and a link to their FAQ. If that’s not rude, what is? I asked about my order personally and then they gave me a rude response back. The rep kept replying rudley to get the last word. So i told them they didn’t have to be rude to me, for simply reaching out. They didn’t like that very much and said “ “We’ll have to agree to disagree, please reference the link provided to answer your question. Take care.” They legit just want the last word (and to again point me to the link/try to be “right”) instead of providing actual customer support. WOW

Cakeworthy IS A RUDE asf company. They are not nice to their customers, don’t bother asking for any help. That only bothers them. Sidenote: If they don’t like answering emails, why are they even doing that job ? Your employees represent your company and i really thought Cakeworthy was a nice company. After this set of rude replies, i see otherwise. 👀

Two stars bc i actually enjoy the products, one bad employee won’t scare me away. Maybe they should get a new job though. Someone that rude, with a need for the last word, and the need to be RIGHT? will eventually scare many people away.

Lastly: after they were notified of this review, they canceled my order and deleted my account. They said that I was abusive because I asked how come my order hasn’t been shipped out yet? and I replied and told the agent that they were rude. when they were ACTUALLY being rude.

So retaliation for a bad review? That’s not good business practice. 1 star now, wish i could do 0, bc this isn’t right.

Bad customer service, poor quality items

The item is garbage and they charged $40. Quality of the shirt is paper thin and the ink used for the images on the shirt was rubbed off where the shirt was folded when it arrived and barely lasted one wash. One! When I emailed asking what happened they brushed me off. What is happening Cakeworthy?!

*update- two washes later and its soooo faded. I’m super disappointed

Awful & Rude Customer Service Never Received My Order

Terrible experience. I place my order on Sept 16th, contacted Cakeworthy on the 22th asking why my order hasn’t shipped, they said it was delayed in their warehouse, it shipped the 23rd and I received tracking. The tracking indicated out for delivery on the 27th then changed to pending caluculation, I contacted both the carrier(Intelcom) and Cakeworthy Oct 2nd. Intelcom said the package appears lost and to contact Cakeworthy, Cakeworthy said it was on Intertelcom to provide proof that it was lost or that Cakeworthy would send a replacement in 14 days from Sept 27th. I also paid extra for insurance on the shipment so on Oct 11th I contacted Cakeworthy for a replacement order and that’s when they told me the item I wanted was no longer in stock. I asked for a refunded which I received minus the sales tax. When I asked for it to be refunded customer service said I would have to contact the postal company. I then asked where I can leave a review and this was their response “ Anywhere you'd like!”.

I replied asking why they’re being rude to me and that their customers should know about my experience and here’s their response…

“ Hello,

We have done the absolute best we can. Your order was processed within the posted timeframe. We have no control over the postal service losing your package. We have provided you with a refund, there is nothing further we can do, and your negative review threats doesn’t change that. Proceed how you will with airing your grievance online, that,unlike above, is out of our control and we cannot provide guidance.”

Terrible experience and I hope they treat their other customers better. Also if I was licensing my IP out to Cakeworthy I would encourage them to change some of their practices.

Believe the bad reviews

Believe the bad reviews. Cakeworthy is a terrible online store and I will never give them my money again. Check the terms and conditions on their website before you buy - you will think twice. My order has "shipped" meaning they generated a label with a tracking number. No progress, meaning it has yet to leave the warehouse, two full weeks after I placed the order. It's for one item that they had in stock. They're claiming "peak season", yet the start of September is no online retailer's "peak season". Cakeworthy lies to the customer, and worse, it's such an obvious lie that the customer knows they're lying.

Slow shipping, terrible customer service, and they are just untrustworthy all around. Never again.

I would ask to cancel the order, but they don't "allow" that. I would plan on returning my order to get my money back, but they do not offer refunds, only exchanges. I have had orders from retailers in Australia arrive faster via AusPost/USPS during the week before Christmas than Cakeworthy can even ship a single top.

Maybe I'll get my order one day

I ordered August 25th at 7am. And today is Sept 10th and I still haven't received my order. I got a shipping confirmation on Sept 2nd but the package didn't actually get shipped until Sept 7th! Customer service lied to me and said it was picked up on Sept 2nd. I worked for usps, if it shipped you would have a scan by the end of the night. They also send it the slowest way possible. They use a low budget shipping carrier that will eventually give it to usps (which is not disclosed). So to this day, usps still doesn't have it. They use the excuse that it's busy season, but with the amount of money they charge they can pay for help during busy season or even overtime. They also don't work weekends. So, if you want your order a month later, then I guess this is the company for you. I won't order from them ever again. I feel like Shein ships internationally faster than this company. And Shein has to go through customs!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I had an issue with a check out option on shop pay. They advertise that you can use shop pay cash however when you go to check out their system says their shipping protection is out of stock. You can purchased the exact same items without using the shop cash or discount. When I contacted shop pay they told me to contact cakeworthy. I reached out explained the situation which I at first thought was a technical issue provided screenshots and all necessary information. I got a rude response asking me to answer questions already covered in my Inital email. I answered them again expressing my frustration with the rude customer service asking them to please fix the issue or escalate my email. I never once use disparaging words or derogatory statements, they flat out refused to help me. I asked if they intentionally block discounting on their site and they BLOCKED ME via email and social media. I reached out again trying to get a supervisor or someone to help they blocked me again. They 100% edit all reviews if anyone even remotely questions them or is honest on their websites or leaves honest reviews they get blocked and deleted. This is false advertising at best and fraud at its worst. DONT BUY FROM HERE. Disney absolutely should pull its licensing.

Horrible...

This is my second review. I repurchased one of the items because I just really wanted it. I purchased it and waited...and waited.... In fact I purchased it on June 17 and nothing happened until July 30 (more than a month) just for them to send a email that they have cancelled the order. I just don't understand how they can make customers wait for weeks and months just for them to cancel an order. They need to fix their system or something. Overall, horrible. Just don't buy here. There are other stores that make fandom merch that are probably better quality, cuter, and probably have good customer service.
