Shortly after financing my car my daughter attempted suicide and my husband was attacked at work. Both incidents resulted in missing work and a very stressful financial situation. Chrysler capital was unwilling to work with us and demanded the full past due balance paid at once. They will not allow payment plans at all. I wish I had googled this company before moving forward with the car loan. Stay away they are predatory.

I paid off my car loan 2 years ago with cc. I am now looking to sell my vehicle but they will not send my lien release letter so I can prove that I own the vehicle outright. There was a mistake on their end and I understand that things happen but after a month and a half and 5 different calls I have received 5 different answers(all different) and still no closer to getting my release letter. I am beyond frustrated. Any advice on how I can get them to do anything helpful in resolving this situation?
Update-cc responded and provided me with a generic phone number that I have called multiple times over the past month. It’s a number that you are lucky if you get to talk to someone by Tuesday. I have never been more frustrated with poor customer service in my life.

My online account has been 'locked' for almost 6 months. I call to get it unlocked and everytime the representative puts me on hold and then just hangs up on me. On one occasion the representative told me he couldn't figure out why he couldn't unlock it, put me on a brief hold, then hung up on me. So, CC representative's solution to fixing my problem is to hang up on me. Well, I've got a solution. I'm going to refinance and take my business to someone who values their customers. I'll never do business with CC ever again.

i have been trying to reach someone to pay my bill for 2 months now. I cannot get through the phone system. It tells me my account information is incorrect and reroute me back to start. I also am having the same issue trying to log in online help. You guys have made it impossible to pay my bill. REWRITE AFTER CHRYSLER COMMENT The number that you posted is the very number I have been calling it says I don't have an account and then keeps sending me to the beginning of the phone tree

Have a 2024 Jeep and a 2024 Dodge Hornet financed with Chrysler Capital. I have no complaints. I make the payment online and haven't had an issue. They made it very easy to finance both cars. Only customer service experience I had was requesting a Due Date Change for the Compass, they did it immediately with no issues at all.

Chrysler capital continues to pretend they are a collection agency. I sold my car to Landers Chrysler in Covington, Tn. on12-3. Got a 15 day pay off and neither Landers nor Chrysler has offered any help with this. Chrysler continues to add fees to the pay off. Too many liars at Chrysler Capital. Chrysler should be concerned with their debts and start paying it off.
I paid off my deceased sister's car in 2023. My sister was a widow with one child that allowed me to be the administer of the estate. I received the the car's title but it was in the name of Chrysler Capital. I called and requested a new title or at least have the title amended with my sister's name. They, instead, sent a release of lien and a statement of fact letter. Neither of those documents can be used in the state of Pennsylvania to register a car. I sent the title to them and waited for a few months. They sent the title back with a signature but no notarization. They also sent a notarized letter. The state of Pennsylvania does not recognize the letter and since the title itself is not notarized I cannot get the vehicle registered to drive or to sell. The car has been sitting for 8 months now. I put so much money into so that my nephew could have his mom's car. These are not nice people. I gave them all the documentations they asked for and the issue still remains unresolved.
*Update: I received the title back but it still does not have my sister's name added and IT IS NOT NOTARIZED. I still am unable to get the car registered in the state of Pennsylvania. I am beyond confused right now.

Up until this point I've been happy with Chrysler Capital, but today I learned how bad they are. And I've had loans with them before this one.
I recently came out of Bankruptcy, never missing a payment with them before, during, or after. When applying for a boat loan I learned my Credit report shows no loan at all. And when they removed it my credit score dropped 37 points.
I called so called customer service to find out why they aren't reporting. After checking I was told that I declared Bankruptcy in 2020 and they will no long report, even if I continue to make payments now that I'm all done with my bankruptcy. EXCUSE ME ! I bought THIS truck IN 2020, never missed a payment, and did not add it to my my Bankruptcy.
When I asked if there was someone I could talk to above them, I was placed on hold before I could get the words out of my mouth. I sat on hold for 20 mins before finally giving up.
Then this person continued to make things worse with words like "I don't Think" and "maybe" . Quote: I don't think they will report until the loan is paid off, then, they "maybe" will report the loan closed.
So I do them the favor of not having to take the truck back and to continue to pay back the loan the loan and this is how they treat me ? After 5 different Trucks !?!?! Toyota is looking pretty good right now !

In early September, I began the process of addressing fraud I discovered within the Contract and the billing and report of account status, I started a Conditional Acceptance For the Value Of Proof Of the Loan, it's been 45 days of Chrysler Capital ignoring the request to answer questions in an Affidavit with someone signing under oath to their fraud, they accepted to enter into the contract(s) of discovery with me, and are now is "DISHONOR." Chrysler Capital was notified that payments would stop until the questions were answered. Instead, they continue to send me a copy, of a copy of a contract with one signature on it and my payment history, all things I have not requested. They refuse to follow the legal instructions laid out within the documents. They have since September "charged off" my loan, without submitting 1099c as required by law, and have ignored the legal investigation of this invalid claim on an unconscious contract that clearly does not display a meeting of the minds. Also, because I was a first-time buyer who had never used credit before, they coaxed me into an unreasonable high-interest loan that forced me to buy this auto twice, basically. I was told Chrysler Capital was the lender, I later found out that they are a "COLLECTION AGENCY" and affiliated with Santander Consumer USA, which has been involved in a class action lawsuit concerning the same issues I am dealing with. Chrysler Capital never loaned me anything; they can't loan money. Instead, they created money out of thin air, using my signature as an asset and attaching it to the car's title as collateral. I've come to realize that many consumer finance companies like Westlake Financial, Credit Acceptance Corp., and Santander (Chrysler Capital) are deceiving the consumer. These companies have been in the news for shady business practices like illegal repossession and bating customers into loans with extremely high interest rates, which is what was done to me. I have reported them to the IRS Fraud Unit and to the Illinois Attorney General, who was already involved in other lawsuits concerning these same issues before.

My truck has been in the dealership garage for 2 months because of a manufacturing error and the parts were not available to fix it. I called Chrysler Capital to see if I can have an excuse payment for one month because I have not been able to use the truck for 2 months because of their mess up. They just flat out told me no and were very rude. I've done business as well as sent business for many years to Chrysler and RAM, and that will never be the case again. I advise everyone that tries to lease a vehicle through Chrysler to not do it. Because they don't care about the customer they only care about the dollar. I have gone broke paying for Uber rides just to get back and forth to work and thought that I could get a little help from them with the free money they're getting basically for a truck that's sitting in one of their dealerships garages. Chrysler has lost my business forever and I will never go back as well as my family and friends. We are all Fed up and done.

You should be able to leave a zero star review. This is the WORST company I have ever leased a vehicle through. Chrysler Capital switched to a different third party vendor to process payments and it never works. They offer you the ability to pay online (website as they don’t have an app) through your banking account and there will be no fees HOWEVER, every time you put in your banking information (which won’t save no matter how many times you select save payment info) it comes back as the account is invalid. I have called customer service twice now just to be told the error is on my end with my bank even though I am reading the information off of my bank account directly to them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she again tried to process my payment and getting the same error. I ask if she can use the old third party vendor and magically it worked once she switched and didn’t use pay near me. She told me she was going to escalate my problem and I received no help. Now here I am the very next month unable to process my payment with the same problem. I call them AGAIN and I am being told the error is on my end and they are unable to use the previous third party vendor option as it has been removed from their access and they can only use pay near me. So now I am still unable to pay my car payment with an error they are telling me is on my end when it’s theirs and I am being told my problem is going to be escalated which I am sure will provide no help. DO NOT USE CHRYSLER CAPITAL FOR LEASING OR BUYING A VEHICLE THEY ARE THE WORST. The only positive thing I have to say is the 4 customer service reps (2 were supervisors ) I worked with were very nice and sympathetic however that doesn’t fix my issue.

I have a account with Chrysler and I am also a cosigner for another individual and I learned on Nov 4th 2024 this person was behind because of the many emails in a week they sent me and not the owner of the vehicle who drives it and has the keys and pays the insurance. I called customer service and found out what that a payment was late so I made that payment for the other person and today I notice the credit Bureau has a update showing last payment recieved from the buyer of said vehicle was Sept 27, 2024 but it should have said last payment Nov 4th 2024 which caused my credit rating to drop 95 points do I called customer service again today Nov 14th 2024 and once again I am definitely talking to someone in the middle east and after asking to tell me what is going on with the buyers account that i cosigner on and was asked to give the account number and representative said I see you have multiple accounts I said I don't have the account number in question and I said when I made a payment on the 4th of Nov 2024 and I didn't have the account number either but the representative said because I answered all questions to prove that I was who I said I was but this person at Chrysler today said without the account number I can't help you and asked the person from Chrysler Capital to make it easy and let me talk with someone else without a word I was put on hold for 44 minutes and 10 seconds and without a doubt that was done that way on purpose and that is not professional. I work way to hard all my life to keep my credit profile our outstanding and when I can't get answers about something I wasn't aware of and I am ignored that is not good customer service.

Chrysler Capital keeps repeatedly charging the wrong account (an inactive checking account I used one time in the beginning of my lease) resulting in late fees and returned fees. They are telling me the problem is with me our my bank, yet my previous 40+ payments never had a single issue. I have been told several times that account isn't even listed yet it keeps pulling.
I have contacted customer service 5 different times and sit on hold for over an hour only to be told I need a manager to then sit on hold again. I have had the two rudest customer service reps. When asking why a late fee would be charged when they keep charging the wrong account just recently, the rep said "for being late duh". Then the second rep I asked her to repeat what she had said and she replied with "your dog barked that's probably why you didnt hear".
My account balance shows I owe $86 yet I am told every time I call that I owe four hundred dollars and without being able to know what they are for or why they don't show up on my account, I can't take care of the balance. Be aware that they do not show your excise taxes so that was a bill I assumed was being paid via the autopayments and found out it was not.

Should be 0 stars!!! At the end of my lease they billed me another month’s worth and were not able to provide a billing statement for it. I have called them and told me to pay it before my due date or i will incur a late fee. I have asked them multiple times what the charge is for and all 3 people couldn’t tell me because they also can’t see a bill for it. IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO CHARGE A CUSTOMER WITHOUT A BILLING STATEMENT!

Very very unprofessional, my car was in shop and I got a check from insurance I sent them check and the insurance claims and I’ve made my payments and I was told they would mail check out to body shop OVER NIGHT and they they STILL HAVE NOT SENT CHECK plus they have you on hold for extended hours, I’ve never experienced such a horrible bank. I will never recommend this bank to anyone trying to take out an auto loan.

Via their Web site I sent 2 messages to them regarding a message I received saying my balance was in error. Never received a reply. Went back to the Web site and clicked on Chat - this worked a little better as I was also on the phone with them with a 2 HOUR and 45 MINUTES wait - via Chat - wait time 2 min - I explained my issue ... they said their system made an error and applied 2 payments to my account then retracted 2 payments from my account ... OK fine but what does that have to do with "my balance being in error". They then cut off the Chat. Very unprofessional, I would have liked to speak to someone but barring that Chat is fine, but they need to have someone on Chat that actually knows what they are talking about. I will not use Chrysler Capital for my next auto contract.

When I thought it couldn't get worse. Their new payment platform doesn't save the ACH information even if you check the "save account information " box.
So everytime, you got to have a check book by your side to punch the numbers ...unbelievable
And still don't show how much you owe for the coming month on the main chrysler Capital account page...but it's like that for years now, they probably never gonna fix it.
Worse MIS team ever....

First of all, it is nearly impossible to get an actual agent on the phone. They do not have an email address either, so the only option is to call them. When I called, I sat on hold for an hour, and never received a live agent. I’m almost certain they went home and clients on hold. I filed a complaint through their message system in the portal, and they still have not responded. It’s been over a week. I spoke with one sales representative, who told me that they would get me my lien release letter in 3 - 5 days. Those days go by and I still had no latter. I try to teach them through their online chat bot. The woman tells me she cannot issue a lease and that I needed to call the titling department. I was never informed about the issue. I call the title department, who knew nothing about my case or what the woman was talking about through the chat bot. He then told me 7 - 11 days. I still do not have a lien release letter. It’s been seven days.

I financed my car in Nov 2022 $16014.00 I have paid $415-$420 every month. I still owe $13820 I have paid almost $9000 and only paid $1967 to principle The backside of the dealership contract says we may apply each payment to the earned and unpaid part of the to the Finance Charge to the unpaid part of the amount financed and to any other amounts you owe under this contract in any order WE choose as the law allows What does this exactly mean? I was told by the car dealership I could refinance with Crysler Capital to lower my interest and my payment that was a lie Please someone advise This company is such a scam
