Whoever gave chrysler capital the extra half star must have been feeling generous. It is impossible to get a human being on the line let alone on response. I sent them a car payment over $500. Not knowing that they had sold my account to another company.
Because I was trying to refinance. No answer. Nobody told me anything. If you're looking for customer service after you buy a car this is not the place to go to finance or anything else. To this day I have no idea who hold the title of my car. I haven't made a payment for months.Because I have no idea who to send it to. The way I am treating it now.Is there forfeiting every paymen that's been missed. I'm tired of dealing with people that do not know their job or have the courtesy to return messages. I'm tired of pideon english that I cannot even decipher. Had they had the courtesy to let me know that my account was now through a different company.I never would have sent them that money in the first place.Not only did they not tell me, the new company hasn't got hold is me yet. With the new company I had to deal with the nightmare of ottawa prove but that's a story for another time. Go to your bank or your credit union if you have an account at it either and save yourself the aggravation. All I want is my $506 back from chrysler finance. Now they may be sending it back.I don't know. It's kind of tough when you can't get a human being on the line. I'm not one for over regulating. But if an industry needed it, it should be this end of the business.

PayNearMe ruined the experience

Ever since they moved to PayNearMe as their payment platform through their site, there have been issues upon issues. For the first several months, I couldn't even log in. When I finally could, no account information was available. The customer service folks understood what was happening, but then they tried to collect on late fees. I will never finance through them again.

Be warned..

I have been waiting for my overpayment for the longest time. My car was awarded lemon law buyback and there was an overpayment… got a message on 6/18/25 that the check was mailed but nearly a month later nothing in the mail… chat support says to give it more time and when I requested a supervisor response was that a supervisor can’t help me… you were quick to take our lease payments each month but take two months to give me back an overpaid amount! Complete scam..it should not take up to 45 days to receive money that is owed to me.. mailing a check should take 5-7 days max..where is my money?

I had a lease I turned in years ago and…

I had a lease I turned in years ago and then when a mortgage company got my credit they told me I had an open overdue account. It was Chrysler Capital. I logged into my old dashboard and it said i owed $115.11. Okay fine -- so I paid it online hoping I would get a confirmation that it was clear. Nope.

The account dashboard doesn't even show my history or balance just that I gave them some money. I can't download a statement or get any proof to show I've paid this.

I don't know why there is a balance on an account where I turned in the lease 5 years ago but whatever. I paid it.

Now every time I message them by chat, message or phone they tell me I will get an email letter stating that the account is clear. Nope. Nothing. Every time you go into their chat you talk with a different robot that hands you off to someone who knows where that just gives the same response.

I really had no problems during the lease when i was paying but now trying to get a resolution has been awful.

Their customer care phone number is a loop, cannot login to the website, it says contact customer service, then the phone is in a constant loop. Terrible

Very difficult to get issues resolved!

When the vehicle was paid off they sent the title to an incorrect address instead of using the updated address on the account. Tried to get a duplicate title and they sent a release of lein. The problem with that is it showed another lender as the lein holder so I was not able to get a title. Then I requested a correct release of lein. And they sent paperwork but no release of lein. I called back again and they tell me they have to make another request that will take another 3 days! Completely frustrated!!! Title department is completely incompetent! This is weeks of calling them and still nothing. So do I wait patiently again only to find out they still were not competent to email a release of lein??? After they have messed up so many times they should correct the issue immediately! It takes less than 5 minutes to attach a document and send the email. They should really find more competent people to work in the Title department. It has been months since the car was paid off and still dont have the correct documents to be able to complete an insurance claim.

This group is an absolute JOKE

This group is an absolute JOKE! I have had a paid loan with them; they never sent the Title to me and are now requesting a duplicate title for the vehicle. I have since had a total loss vehicle claim and they can't even provide me with a lien release to provide to my insurance company. The phone system absolutely is atrocious, and the level service is dog shit! The last time I called back the rep said that the notes said if the customer calls back (14th time now) have him forwarded to this department. I am on the verge of filing with the BBB for service. It does not shock me that they have a 1.3-star rating because they deserve nothing less than .5 star and that is only because they answer the phone.

Trying to pay our lease end payment, and failing. Thanks for nothing.

Trying to pay our lease end payment, but we can't use a credit card to pay it. Add to that the $395 "Disposition Fee" they randomly put on our bill. Phone call:
"What is this Disposition fee?"
"It's the Disposition fee."
"Yes, I can read, what is it for?"
"It's a fee on the lease."
"I know the definition of the word fee, why are we being charged with it?"
"Well, it's a fee."
If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Avoid at all costs.

1 Month to Get Money Due Back To Me After Refinance.

Crazy high interest rate. I refinanced withs Hughs Credit Union. . I ended up being owed money back from Chrysler Cap.. Have been told it will take a month to get my refund. Security reasons they claim. NO! LIE! They just collect interest on that money for a month. Remember folks, Nobody, absolutely NOBODY in the automotive industry is doing anything to benefit YOU if it doesnt benefit them at least 10x's more.

This company deserves zero stars .
First of all, the website to pay these criminals, gives the payers very, very limited access to this incredibly high car loan.
You cant see the balance pay off or anything! You literally just make a payment and your money goes to good knows who .
Now my lease will be up next year in june, Its may 10th. I happened to look this company up, only after I was signed with them. Therefore after reading these horrible reviews, I made it my mission not to fall behind on my payments .
About a week ago I see a fee for $100, mind you, im never late on my payments,
so I ignored it . I get a letter in the mail today, saying I have a $100 balance. Mind you I've had this car for 2 years, never ever have I ever been late lol.
So here's their way of collecting money. Since im paying my lease off early, they haven't made much money off of me, lol so I call to inquire about this $100 balance? because once again, they give their customers very very little information online, so I guess you can just let it go and not bother to call in.
Its now that I learned it was a violation fee for modifying the vehicle!!
Now before he told me that , he asked me did I modify the vehicle. I replied why on earth would I modify a leased vehicle??? Like stop playing with me!
He said well yes, you have to speak with our leasing department and they are closed . Now I know these calls are recorded so I made it my business to tell them how in the world would they know it was modified if they never saw
it ??? Of course he was silent . I continue to say that " I what you guys are doing is illegal! and trust me on to it".
Now ill be calling the dealership to complain about the criminals they force people to work with !

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to urgently address an issue with my lease account that is now threatening the closing of my new home this week.

I have made 100% of my lease payments on time throughout the term of my agreement, with my final payment made on April 12th. My vehicle was originally scheduled to be returned on May 12th. However, due to financial constraints tied to the ongoing construction of my new home, I was unable to commit to a new lease or purchase through Chrysler without significantly increasing my monthly payment or incurring repeated credit inquiries—both of which I could not afford.

As a result, I transitioned into a new vehicle through Nissan, who was able to match my existing monthly payment and help me avoid further financial strain. I returned the leased Chrysler vehicle approximately 30 days early, with a balance of $0 owed at the time.

Despite this, I am now being informed of additional fees and charges, which I am willing to address and pay. However, the sudden reporting or handling of this account is currently impacting my credit and threatening the successful closing of my home, scheduled this week.

I am asking for your urgent assistance in resolving this matter quickly and in a way that reflects my responsible payment history and unique situation. Please let me know the exact steps needed to bring this account to a formal and finalized close, and whether a statement can be provided confirming that the account is in good standing.

Your immediate attention and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Expensive and incompetent

Expensive and incompetent. Near complete brake job on my Dodge Journey - car almost did not stop pulling out of the dealership. Slammed the pedal all the way to the floor and had to use the emergency brake to get it to stop. They clearly didn’t test drive it after the repair, except to park it, but still handed it over to me. Ok – mistakes can happen, technicians can be rushed by their managers, and although this should have been my last visit, I really wanted the closest Dodge dealership to be “my garage”. Parking brake job on our Dodge Magnum. $1600. Picked it up - with the parking brake all the way on, you can push the car and it moves. They replaced almost everything that is part of the parking brake system on this car except the front cable, can you guess what the problem was? They “couldn’t get the part”, another Dodge dealership IN TOWN had it in stock. Once again, nobody tested the work before handing the car over. Now, I’m going to take responsibility for this third one, because as I look back at the first part of what I have written here, I’m clearly a complete idiot for ever going back. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me three times, well… that’s the Ontario public education system’s fault. Needed the valve cover bolts replaced on the 06 Magnum, as two of them were seized. They replaced the gaskets as well as the bolts, and the car started billowing black smoke a few minutes into the drive home. Thought it was a little bit of oil spilled during the repair that would just burn off. Nope, kept getting worse – way worse. Oil was continually leaking onto the exhaust, and on the way back to the garage several people pulled up next to me in a panic to tell me my car was on fire. Surprise! Nobody test drove the car before handing it over. Service advisor is friendly enough, but that’s really their entire job, they aren’t the ones that do the actual repairs, and when things get screwed up the service advisor can’t do anything except turn the mess over to the service manager, whose “solution” is usually for me to buy more parts to complete the 4-digit price car repair. I now drive the extra 20 minutes to get to another dealership.

Absolutely a horrible experience

Absolutely a horrible experience. I was excited to be able to pay off my vehicle in full. Their only payment method to do so is send a check though the mail. Who would make someone to send $31,000 through the mail. Even with the priority shipping it still somehow managed to get lost in the mail and you cannot believe how stressful of a situation this is now. And costing me a ton of money. They said they would extend my payment period for a month but I will still be charged $25 fee every day it’s not paid which will result in $700 paid at the end of the month. So now I have to pay about $660 to get this cashiers check canceled and remade and then I think I’m gonna have to drive two days myself to Texas to deliver it to them because I don’t think I can trust delivery anymore.

Chrysler Capital the worst

Chrysler Capital really needs to approve on their customers service. The staff and management team is horrible. The interest rate they charge are the worst. I would not recommend this company at all.

Not sur we’re. In the country all the bad reviews are coming from .Because I have had nothing but great service from the dealerships they work with to the customer service to the easy self explanatory automated teller nothing but great 😊

Avoid Chrysler Capital at All Costs

Chrysler Capital is fantastic at collecting payments, but the second you need something from them—good luck. I’ve spent two months, five phone calls, and multiple emails trying to complete a simple title transfer, only to find out they’ve been directing me to the wrong contacts the entire time.

Their customer service is completely incompetent, giving me different answers every time. I only got real help after losing my patience, demanding a supervisor, and sitting on hold for an hour. Now I’ve been without a car for a month because they couldn’t figure out basic paperwork.

They outsource to people who don’t care, and Chrysler clearly doesn’t care either. A nightmare to deal with—avoid at all costs.

I cannot stress enough how bad this company operates, and continues to operate. Called them about an accident Jan 17 in Ohio when we live in Indiana. From A to Z they have not taken responsibility for a 2023 Dodge Challenger still under warranty. This car almost killed my fiance and his brother when the brakes, steering, and gears cease to work while on the interstate. Forget getting a call from them because the whole conversation is about what they won't do. That's the long version of the conversation. Now they can deal with my atty who practices the lemon law.
