I have had automatic payments for my…

I have had automatic payments for my truck for several years now. Today I received a receipt from a company named Pay near me. They now have access to my bank account without any knowledge or consent from me. Customer service is a joke. She said emails were sent out which is a lie. I checked my spam folder also.
I have a BIG issue with chrysler capital giving my bank account number to a company that I have not researched. I should think this is illegal. If not, it should be. I will be looking into this issue further.

New customer - UPDATE

UPDATE: Took a while, but because of this review, their corporate office provided a direct line with extension - and actually showed some customer service - only to be led down a hopeful correction acknowledging their mistake and planned correction on the second call (H/F paperwork) only to change course again on the third call - although not my mistake, I will be responsible for NEW lease payment (not more than a few dollars, but it's the principle) - not worth getting a lawyer to fight it, will just use my pocketbook - I have purchased at least (7) Chrysler products in my lifetime including (5) Trucks and (2) 300's - Chrysler will not getting my business again without a satisfactory resolution!

New customer - can tell by the avg wait time 30-45 minutes to speak to a representative on 4 different occasions about my lease payment being larger than my contract, that this companies' customer service is questionable. I then went to their chat option only to time out twice as I entered into "1 person ahead of you" notification after a lengthy wait. On third attempt was successful, but right when I was getting a confirmation request that they would elevate my concern - yup disconnected again!

NO ONE will help me.

I returned my 2021 Jeep lease to the dealership on January 31, 2024, and began leasing a new Jeep Grand Cherokee in February 2024. Due to an issue with the dealership's paperwork on my turn-in of 2021 lease, Chrysler Capital reported a missed payment to the credit bureau, causing my FICO score to drop by nearly 150 points. Despite providing the requested paperwork from the dealership proving that the error was not mine, Chrysler Capital has yet to remove the delinquency from my credit report.

On July 1st, I made my payment on time, as it was due. However, on July 17th, their bank returned my payment to my bank and issued me a late fee. My bank has provided proof that the payment was made on time and that their bank returned it. Yet, the late fee has not been credited back to me. I paid it initially because I assumed I had missed the payment when I received the late payment notification.

Today, when I attempted to make my payment due on the 1st, I discovered that my bank is now required to send a paper check, which will not clear until the 3rd.

I have spent nearly 40 hours tracking down information and speaking to various people on the phone, trying to resolve these issues. These hours, which I have had to take during workdays, have cost me $1,800 in lost wages. Despite numerous calls and emails to the executive office, no one has been able to help me resolve this situation.

My next step will be to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Financial Protection Agency. I will see this through, just as I did with a similar issue with Chevy years ago, where I won my case through arbitration and Chevy was required to pay me nearly $10,000 for their negligence.

Please do not ask me to call the same number I have already called repeatedly, nor send me another email requesting the same information I have already provided multiple times to the executive office. I am seeking an intelligent, responsive person who can discuss these issues with me, rectify my credit, return the late fee, and explain why I am unable to make a payment due on the 1st until the 3rd.

So here is the situation my truck was totaled my wife almost died and apparently charge me for a repossession of 4500 cause they never took it out of the shop and then we dealt with them and got different stories on how we owe all this money and that we are bad people for this accident that was not our fault and I was promised a gap waiver in my contract to pay the remaining balance and apparently its my fault cause the dealers didn't explain the contract correctly I have been dealing with this company since November 2023 and they have been a nightmare and no hope now I have to pay 9 grand and holding the bag while they celebrate that they did their job screwing over a consumer cause somehow their own practice is my fault and that im the bad guy!! I will file a complaint and file through the state of Nebraska to ban them from ever doing buisness here!!! Im a combat vet and this was my retirement truck but yet I get screwed cause they say the dealers were wrong about gap insurance I was promised!! Now I have a repossession on my record and owe 9 grand to screw over a 20 year combat vet who risked his life to protect this country!! The DOJ should investigate this company and Chrysler for doing business like this!!

I feel like if I miss a payment due to…

I feel like if I miss a payment due to low funds or I have not been paid yet, they are hounding me with debt collector. My job is not always close to home, and now my value of my vehicle is lower then my loan and I can not get anyone to refinance. The other issue is I have to split my payments to make sure I can afford food for my family. This is tough.

You don't offer the option to re finance your vehicle with your company

I was told by a customer service rep on July 5, 2024 that Chrysler Corp does not offer EVER offer an opportunity to refinance your car loan but feel free to seek out other lending institutions . In the meanwhile, whatever your extremely HiGH interest rate and monthly payment is, expect to pay that amount until paid in full, meanwhile your vehicle continues to decrease in value and you now very upside down in the loan. Just keep paying down the principle and hopefully another lender will refinance you in the future but rest assured there is no charge to you from Chrysler when you change to another lender. So, this is how your company operates? Sounds kinda like predatory lending , especially for people with subpar credit. They are trapped and crushed. I would appreciate a prompt response.

We sent our insurance check to them…

We sent our insurance check to them (overnighted) and asked to pay our loan off with it. And that would leave us over $3000 coming back to us. They have yet to apply this to our account. Keep calling us that we are late. No one can give us a direct number to the office we overnighted to. It’s just ridiculous and horrific customer service.

I was charged a late fee 2 months after…

I was charged a late fee 2 months after my vehicle was paid off. Which is particularly ironic as the entire payment cycle, I was on auto debit. When I called to question the charge and the service agents' accent was so thick I could not understand him, when I asked to speak with a supervisor he refused and said that one was not available (as if) ... Anyways, I will continue to ding this company anyway I can until they make it right. Next stop BBB. Update: I was contacted by a US based representative within 3 days and my issue was resolved.

My father passed away Oct 12, 2021

My father passed away Oct 12, 2021. I sent his car back. It acutioned off for $9,438 more then what was owed on it the Stent a check in my Father's name for said amount. His estate was in probate and the check voided before it was over due to covid probate cases. AUGUST 15, 2022 the courts ordered that Chrysler Capital pay me the $9,438. Court documents sent per my attorney, with court ceal.
It is now July 1,2024. They keep lying to me and for the last 2 years said it would be sent out in 2 weeks then 3 to 5 days my attorney again contacted them March or 2024. And in May of 2024. And today I called and again got hung up on after a 56 min wait. (By there call center Ivan # 8092.) I will be contacting the attorney General and the news media! And my attorney is looking into sueing for the delays in a court order. Please people don't use this people or any family you care about. The money is lawfully mine and they are keeping it for them selfs.

This pos company keeps charging me a…

This pos company keeps charging me a $175 late fee for the past three months even though I am not late. I called customer service and after waiting 43 minutes and getting an agent they hung up. I am now on wait again. This company should be shut down. Chrysler Capital, how are you able to scam people like this and get away with it? I will be seeking legal action against this pos company. Don't bother responding with your stupid generic statement that you give everyone. You will not fix anything or try to fix it.

I contact this bank to pay off my balance and was misinformed by a costumer service representative. Not only was I misinformed the automatic service for me to pay my full amount was not correct. The manger for the company was not any better had me on hold.

Absolutely the worst customer service…

Absolutely the worst customer service I've experienced from a finance company. We've moved interstate. I need a copy of the title faxed to the OMV (state requirement). I've sent three message via the account message center. I've called four times. I've given them the fax number to the DMV and the fax number to a Title Agency. It hasn't been sent. I'm stuck waiting for someone to reply to my latest message to tell me they're taking care of it and then they'll close the ticket without ever verifying it's been done. I've moved before. It's usually as easy as calling the bank right from the OMV and having a copy of the title faxed right over. Not with Chrysler Capital.

I am so upset with Chrysler Capital

I am so upset with Chrysler Capital. I am doing a lease buyout and financing through my bank. I am waiting on the title, I had to send it back the first time because they didn’t fill out all the information on the back of the title they needed too. I sent it back on April 30th. I wrote them a letter saying I will need the the title back by May 20th, because if I don’t go to the RMV by then I will start to incur penalties. My bank called them on the May 9th to see if they got the title and at first they couldn’t find it. They ended up locating it and filling it out and told my bank they sent it to me regular mail. Which why would they send an important document regular mail, not even certified ??? I called them yesterday to see if they had a tracking number for it and the lady basically couldn’t even tell me when it was sent or when it would get to me. It’s May 21, if they sent it on May 9th by regular mail I would have gotten it by now. I am very upset and angered, it’s not fair I am going to be penalized for a mistake Chrysler capital made.

She was being incredibly rude, and she hung up on me.

Avoid Chrysler Capital!!!

Avoid Chrysler Capital - they are the worst choice for any vehicle financing. The agents don't understand their own lease terms, they won't put anything in writing, even via email. I called them for 3 days straight, talked to at least 7 different people and got a different story every single time. Escalated to a Supv and they just transferred me to the Lease Maturity Dept who basically read a scripted answer back to me no matter what I asked them. Total waste of several hours time waiting on hold.

I will NEVER purchase a car from Chrysler

I will NEVER purchase a car from Chrysler Capital. Not only does Chrysler not want to fix what's under warranty (radio issues) as to why I traded my 2021 Durango RT, they drag out sending you the GAAP insurance refund! All other financial companies have you go to the dealership to obtain your refund. However! Chrysler makes the dealership send the check to them, then they hold it for 45 days of "processing" then send you a check. I've received so many different answers on this topic from there customer service it's nuts! I have dates, times, agent names and ID numbers it makes no sense! NEVER AGAIN!! I will be writing a complaint to the state as well as the company, as this is not good business as a consumer!

Disappointed and Disheartened: My Experience with Chrysler Capital

My experience with Chrysler Capital has been nothing short of a nightmare since inheriting my grandfather’s car in 2020. Despite inheriting a finance balance, I expected a reasonable level of service and understanding from Chrysler Capital. However, what followed was a series of disappointments and frustrations that left me questioning their ethics and professionalism.

First and foremost, their incessant harassment for payments, even if I was just a day or two late, was beyond comprehension. It felt like they were more interested in squeezing money out of me than providing any form of customer support. Their relentless pursuit of payment overshadowed any semblance of empathy or understanding for my situation.

Moreover, when I finally managed to pay off the loan, the ordeal was far from over. I explicitly requested that my title be sent to a specific address, only to find out that Chrysler Capital had completely disregarded my instructions and sent it elsewhere. As a result, I’ve been left waiting for a month for my new title to arrive, rendering my car practically unusable during this time.

The sheer incompetence and lack of regard for customer satisfaction displayed by Chrysler Capital throughout this ordeal are truly disappointing. It’s evident that they prioritize their bottom line over the well-being and satisfaction of their customers. My experience serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering financing through this company.

In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Chrysler Capital to anyone. Their money-hungry approach and disregard for customer concerns make them a company to avoid at all costs. It’s a shame that such a renowned brand would allow themselves to stoop to such levels of negligence and apathy towards their customers.
