Chrysler Capital is the worst company…

Chrysler Capital is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. We reached out to them about an insurance check that was supposed to be applied to getting our vehicle fixed. The company refused to release the check to the auto body shop. We have spoken to multiple representatives about this matter and have been unable to resolve. If possible, never do business with Chrysler Capital.

Can't collect overpayment on paid off account

My lease end date was 06/30/23 (last payment due). I decided to purchase my 2020 Pacific. On 07/05/23 I closed on a loan from my bank. 07/18/23 I received a bill of sale letter from Chrysler. 07/30/23 my bank processed a payment (over paid) to Chrysler (auto pay was not turned off). It's 10/06/23 and I am still begging them to refund the over payment of over $ 400.00.
The issue is they see the vehicle account was paid in full, they have come up with excuse after excuse as to why they can't send me the over payment. They actually call weekly with a story (lie) it has to be approved, we will Fed Ex it, O no the accounting department sent it out via USPS it's been two weeks and I still do not have my check. Shame on you!! I will never purchase a Chrysler vehicle ever again! I do plan to call the manager at the dealership to complain. After reading other reviews and see a horrible pattern of bad behavior I plan to take this to court. They were recording me and I was recording them.

I paid my son's lease up for three…
I paid my son's lease up for three years. The car was a total loss. Each time I called for an update, I get a different answer from the reps. Everyone is confident but no one is accurate. I just want my refund and to be done them! This company is THE WORST! Do NOT get financed through them!!! Rating -10!

Worst company ever…

Worst company ever in communicating with you a little over 2 years ago my father passed and when payments were made they kindly took them here we are today and they repossessed the vehicle claiming that even if it had been paid off they would still have repossessed it since he was deceased. That for they entire time we have continued making payments it was always on the repo list. There was a time we got behind and it warranted being repossessed and they didn’t now that the balance is under 5000 they repossessed it so they can sale it at auction.

In october 2019 I leased a 2019 Jeep…

In october 2019 I leased a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. I had prepaid the entire lease so I wouldnt have any lease payments. On January 27,2022 I was given a payoff amount of $25,520.06. Then on June 10 2023 I was given a payoff figure of $26,759.55. Then on August 22,2023 I was given a payoff figure of $27,009.67. I called the provider and they couldnt tell me how the payoff figures keeps going up despite that I had prepaid the lease. They said they would call me back but so far they havent.

UPDATE - I went ahead and paid them the figure of $27,009.67 even though I dont agree with this figure. I finally got my bill of sale on 9/14/2023. HOWEVER, the bill of sale shows a total payment amount of $26,895.06. This is a difference of $114.61. I called customer service and they said I had a refund coming back to me of only $17.72 and this check is dated 9/14/23. As of today 10/6/23 i havent even received this check. At this point I am going to turn this entire matter over to the State of Florida

Never finance again with them. I had a truck financed thru them never late on payment. Traded truck in an waiting for a refund check for 2 months everytime I call something different. Dont finance

Horrible finance company never finance again. Also, an excuse why I don't get refund check. Very rude Supervisors. I was never late on payment for 3 years. Buyer beware. Oh an this time they hung up on me.

Company sent me a refund check I was owed and it bounced at my bank. I’ve been flagged with cashing fraudulent checks from my bank because they screwed up somewhere. Now over a month and still have not gotten my check. Absolutely worst company do not bank or get any loans with them. They will rob you

STAY AWAY!!

Everything is good until you payoff your loan. We paid ours off and here's what happened. We received no payoff letter and the money we over paid has yet to be returned although they claim they released the funds almost two months ago. Requested a replacement check and after a week goes by now they claim the rep sent the request to wrong department. No less than three different letters have been "lost" in the mail. I find it hard to believe that only 'positive to us' mail was lost. Now they have a third-party handling duplicate document request so when the documents are 'lost' a payment is required to get a duplicate. There's zero phone customer service, just recording after recording. Only way to get live help is thru the online account using the chat and then they still don't resolve anything.
A case has been started with the Arkansas Attorney General.

Idiocracy

I had called to obtain some information to take care of an issue Chrysler had caused on their end and pawned it off on me to handle and resolve. So I called and was transferred to 4 different departments all asking me for the same information. I spent 10 minutes alone just repeating myself. One person told me that everything was sent in the mail. After two weeks of waiting and not receiving anything I called back. They told me to wait another week. So I did and still nothing. I called back and waited 20 mins just to talk to a human only for them to tell me it wasn't processed right and nothing was ever sent. I am beyond frustrated. Its like the people that work there don't understand words or maybe they're just not paid enough to care. Either way, its been a horrible experience. I'm running around trying to resolve an issue they caused without any of their help. I will avoid them at all costs in the future.

Chrysler capital

Chrysler capital is not a good company to get any loan from. Im a previous customer who paid off two cars with them and they denied me from a third car loan. I was pre approve online and when i went to go to the dealership like the funding department told me they declined me anyways. If i could i would give them zero stars but unfortunately the one star would have to do. I would never go back with this company again.

Horrible Business Practices

Horrible business practices! Last week, I paid my final car note and instead of updating my online account to show an additional payoff balance, the company sent me a delinquency notice in the mail. Neither of the customer service reps offered an apology or a clear explanation as to why I was notified in such an insulting way, and I never received a response from two online inquiries. Additionally, I was given three different amounts owed, so I won't be surprised if the company tries to tack on additional fees. This is not how you treat customers.

Horrible

Horrible. I called them and wrote to them. I’m being treated for cancer and knew that I would have a hard time making a payment. These evil people repo’d my Jeep. Now I have to go to Philly for cancer treatments four times a week by septa. It takes me 3 1/2 hours each way

NEVER LEASE WITH THIS COMPANY OR OWN A CHRYSLER AGAIN

Chrysler seems to be annoyed that they priced Jeep leases incompetently. My last two Jeeps have at least $5k in positive equity at the end of the lease and with my 2019, I traded it in a month before lease end to get a non Chrysler car at a discount.

Now, with the 2020 Jeep my wife was driving coming due, we tried to do the same. BUT, Chrysler changed their policy, charging a much higher price ($10k) for a dealer purchase than if I purchased it from them, killing the positive equity. They claim they are not obligated to honor they buyout for any party but me. So, I had to buy the car directly from Chrysler to get my original lease end price, and also had to pay $2k in taxes I never had to pay before. To make it worse, Chrysler takes a month to give you title once you are paid in full, and they don’t actually transfer it for you. They give you their old paper title in their name and you have to go to the DMV. One of the few remaining companies that deals in paper rather than doing it electronically.. BOTTOM LINE, this company is both UNETHICAL and INCOMPETENT, as well as outright spiteful I am sure a note will pop up below saying they are sorry for my experience, but they aren’t. This no mistake or accident, it was a large scale policy shift done intentionally to either advance greed or mitigate incompetence

Account paid in full. Title in hand. Still trying get money

This is the second review of this company. I paid off my car in April. They came and took in the wee hours undercover. It was getting paid off that next day really. So asked before I paid off once this is done do I owe anymore money. I was told no. Received my title, but now there is a $149 amount on my credit report. Found out this is some tow fee or flat bed fee. Now mind you I paid over $ 400 in tow fees. This company states titles are not released until the account is paid in full. Again, I have my title. I'm not paying this company anymore money. I will be contacting my attorney. Something is fishy here. And the 1 star review is only because you have to give something 0 is my true review. Let's see if I get another phone call regarding this review??

Updated my review

I had financed a car through these guys for 4 years and when my car was totaled and paid off by insurance company they refused to give me another vehicle through them. I had a 100% on time payments , you would think they would have been eager to have my business again! Very very disappointed in Chrysler Capital, whom I was fond of at first because they gave me my very first car loan!!! Well since the original post they reached out to me and told me that it wasn’t then who denied me it was the dealership whom I had the west experience with that actually decided not to choose them for me loan. I am going to try with a different dealership and will see if I have better luck! I changed my stars because they did reach out to me which they didn’t have to do, so I would probably recommend them at this time!!!

My 2017 Jeep is less than 3 months from…

My 2017 Jeep is less than 3 months from being paid off. I've never had a late payment. This month I log into my account and suddenly Chrysler Capital has added over $1200 to my payment stating it is over due and provided an option for loan modification that adds an additional 6 payments to my loan. I'm flabbergasted! I've no idea what this is about, but after 6 years dealing with this company...I can only say they are corrupt criminals and deserve to be in jail.

Horrible customer service

Financed our loan through the dealership in the height of covid. Received a horrible sub prime rate but at the time we needed a new car. We've refinanced the loan and paid off chrysler with a bank check and are being told our overpayment won't be mailed until 45 days from now. WHAT! what a joke. Customer service is no help, each person you tt gives you different info. Will never finance with chrysler again!

Please stay away from Chrysler Capital, they treat the customer like trash, I wish I could give them no stars, for the abuse they have giving me. you call them, after they transfer you five times, then they hang up on you. horrible people, I would never buy any of their products any more.

Buyers beware

If I could give a 0, I would. Can’t make extra payments, can’t make early payment, can’t do anything with this company. Buyer beware in the beginning I was being charged 15 dollars a day on interest, and you read that correctly 15 dollars a day on interest.

I bought a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan handicapped accessible for $38,000 ending up having to pay close to $61,000. I had to go with them because the company I bought it from in Highpoint, NC, said I was approved through Capital One Auto Loan. After 3 weeks I was cancelled because the company in High Point lied on the application to Capital One. By that time I had already Sold my older model handicap van. So I didn’t have an option but to go with Chrysler Capital. Now I’m done with this place, they don’t care about anything but money trying to make extra payments to get the vehicle paid off sooner, and I was told today that I would be penalized for making an extra on the principal. So if you have any other options, go with them, do not go to this place. They are no good. They actually need to be closed down and I don’t know why our government is letting them do us this Way.

I agree with everyone this place is a rip off and don't seem to care they act all concerned but really not my interest is high as hell and I didn't know you couldn't pay extra to knock it down some never again I'd rather pay for Uber daily
