Not about customers just about the dollar.

This company has people that are not for the consumers at all. They are rude not helpful say they are trying to work with you but give you no options. I woke up this morning and my truck was gone. I called they said I am 77 days behind I said no I made a payment last month and all I got was oh I guess you did. But you are still delinquent and we have no other option but to pay the full loan amount. Customer care is not anything the company is about it’s the dollar and that’s it. I tried to pay the fees that are behind and I was told not a option. I tried to speak to a manger and as denied. I asked for the supervisor and she was very unkind and no thoughts of helping the situation other than informing me no one can overturn her decision. I will turn to ever social media platform to let everyone know how this company works and handles business.

Incompetent Customer Service

Every experience I have over the phone is a mess. I don't know if their CS staff is in Jamacia or the elsewhere in the Caribbean, each and every time I call for assistance it is a bloody mess.

I recently switched banks, I decided to do the prudent thing and called their rep to ensure everything from the third-party autopay app was in order for the payment to go through.

Instead of just verifying, they took it upon themselves to double bill me for the month of March.

I will be reaching out to see what can be done about this, but I am beyond pissed that such a routine inquiry could get so misinterpreted.

CC website must be run by sadists

CC website must be run by sadists! Website is supposed to send confirmation code, but it never comes. I agree with the other user, about CC doing this to run up late fees - classic corporate greed! I will have to refinance auto loan with my bank to avoid this CC website nonsense!

As a loyal customer I’ve been paying on…

As a loyal customer I’ve been paying on time every single month since 2019 and being out of work for 2 weeks due to illness apparently does not approve me for a 1 month deferment. So now my credit will be effected. Horrible customer service! I do not recommend anyone using this company for an auto loan. I plan to refinance my auto loan next month to a company that cares not just about their money but also the customers that provide them the money for them to even exist.

CROOKS! Legally trying to rob you!

Traded in for a Jeep Cherokee in 2018. Settled at the dealership, took the Jeep home. A month later, I go to log in to make a payment, and there is no account in my name. Long story short, Chrysler renigged at the last minute, but I already had the car in hand. By the time anyone caught it, the trade in was already sold. Got everything straight, but did not see the red flags.
Bought a truck in 11/2020. Put $20k in cash as down payment. Payment is due on the 4th, but I can NEVER make a payment online, so I wait until Chrysler calls, and make a payment over the phone. Woke up this morning on the 23rd to a missing truck. Yes, I'm late...but I have had no call, email, letter, nothing since i made a payment on January 17th. So I call to straighten things out...turns out they already have a buyer who has overnighted the payoff amount on the loan, and they have written off my account all together. No option for reinstatement. They are crooks. I have paid a total of $30,000 over the course of a year towards this truck, and they repo it before it was 30 days out. Excellent you guys!
Oh, and to top it off...the rep told me "we have been looking for this on and off for a while" which tells me everytime it would go late (probably every month) they have been sending it out for repo. But luckily I would pay it before it could be repossessed. I had no idea this game of tag was going on. So I'm convinced someone on the inside saw a truck for a great payoff price, and that is why my vehicle was repossessed so quickly and without recourse. I was also told my past payment history had no effect on their decision. It was policy, and I could not get my vehicle back.

Worst experience

I recently was late with payments which called for it to be repossessed, long story short I came up with funds for them to release the repo order, not long after they send me a letter in the mail saying February 10th they will be coming for my car. Oh and I paid that on the January going towards the end of the month lol now I look outside my car is gone, yeah I’m not liking this business with Chrysler Capital feels like they are trying to rob or do something but some assurance is needed. Now after I called they said I have to pay the full charge off amount which is 34,000 this is crap, by far the worst lending company I’ve delt with.

Reps have no knowledge of their business processes.

Paid of the vehicle 3 weeks ago. Trying to receive the title (or lean release). Every call i make the rep. tells me something different. First, 'you will get your title by mail (it was mailed yesterday)' Two days later, 'oh no it was not even issued yet'. Couple of days later they tell me that i will get the lean release via e-mail withing 24-48 hours. Four days past, nothing. Another call, now they tell me that they will send me the title and in order to get the lean release i have to go to my local DMV and ask DVM to submit a request to Chrysler Capital for a lean release(?!) Why can't they do it based on my request? It seems like the reps have no clue on their business processes and they don't really care. Worst experience in 30 years.

Worst Company EVER.

Worst Company EVER.

I purchased a Fiat at the end of the lease. I inadvertently overpaid by $500 because the website says I owed this $500. Without my authorization or agreement, they unilaterally sent me a debit card. I called and called and was told that unless I gave my personal information to an unknown third-party with whom I have zero business, I cannot get the refund via a check. I told them that I am unable to deposit the debit card refund back into my account but they did not care. They also did not care if I did not want to disclose my personal information to an unknown third-party with whom I have zero business relationship. The "Executive Office" is worthless. It's time for the regulators and enterprising attorneys to sue this unethical company.

Update in response to their "canned response:" I called the number numerous times, and I either get someone who is clueless and giving me false information or someone super arrogant without anyone who actually cares.

it is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. cost me a lot of time and money to fix their problems. Suggest going else where rather than working with them.

I have tried sending payments and they…

I have tried sending payments and they have sent my money orders and checks back every time. They have closed my account without no notice. Makes no sense to me at all. I have tried calling more than a handful of times and I have gotten extremely rude people with no answer as to why they have sent my payments back. So what do you people expect me to do??

Avoid Chysrler Capital

If I could rate negative 100 I would.

Do not finance with them. Endless fees or charges and interest on such.

I went to payoff a account exceeding 20 thousand dollars and they refused the payment. Wanted installments. Excuse me? You want me to make install payments on a vehicle loan I'm trying to literally payoff in one go.

Then once I was able to pay it off fully they over charged and sent their infamous debit cards with no ability to get the refund other than to use a card and face fees or other terms to bind you through some banking partner they have.

It was act of christ to get ahold of anyone and they refused to send a check of the amount to refund owed.

Avoid them and anything capitol one or chysrler capitol affiliated.

I feel behind on payments because of my…

I feel behind on payments because of my job becoming slow. I was making payments when I was able too but my car was still repossessed. I ended up being able to pay the balance that I was behind on. I called trying to see what the process would be in order to get it back but I was told that by it being my second repossession I was told that I would have to pay off my full remaining balance owed on the car. I asked different type of questions when the first repossession happened but this was not mentioned to me. I’m currently pregnant and this will affect me making it to any of my doctors appointments. Is there anyway for me to get my car back without having to pay the full remaining balance on the car?

Over 6 months trying to get something done and still nothing

I have been trying to get the title of my vehicle sent to the Oregon DMV. I have been working on this for almost 6 months and still nothing from Chrysler Capital. Every time I call, I get a different explanation as to why the previous items weren't acceptable after being told this is what they need. I've always bought Chrysler vehicle over the past 40 years, and I will never buy another. Their customer service is the worst and yes, they keep apologizing but that doesn't fix the problem.

i moved from nevada to utah utah requires a power of attorney i have been trying to get one from them for over 2 1/2 weeks the latest was that it was emailed to me and would take 24-48 hours well i did not get it and have only 2 more days to regerter it or i can not drive it i have not been late with my payment in 2 years and this is how i get treated

My leased vehicle registration VIN does…

My leased vehicle registration VIN does not match the VIN of my vehicle. State auto tag store needs the vehicle title to make corrections to allow me to have the vehicle inspected and registration renewed. I have called Chrysler Capitol 3 times, been on hold for an hour or more and no one will come on the line to help solve the problem. Meanwhile I am driving with expired registration and subject to fines.

Sold car to a private dealer

Sold car to a private dealer, they overnighted payoff to Chrysler Capital at an address located in same state. It’s been 3 weeks, on week 1 an agent told me they could see payoff was being processed. Now they keep telling me they have never received anything.
