Clarkson NY is a scam. I paid $69.95 for a shirt that is not worth $1. I have never been as disappointed in an article of clothing. Although Clarkson offers a 30 day money back guarantee, I have learned that the shirt was not shipped from NY, it was shipped from China. If I am to request a refund, I must pay to return / ship to China. Do not purchase anything from this company!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!One star only because I have to give it at least one star. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. What they advertise is not what they send. The products look great online, but they are really garbage. Then when you say you want to return them, you have to jump through hoops and have all the original packaging and send it back using their shipper. AND you will not only pay for the very high shipping costs but add in $20 for customs. turns out to be more like $60 for a return. This is absurd. Now they are sending me threatening letters. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

corrupt AF. Return policy is a joke. The only way they will respond is if you cancel payment on your cc. Then they sent the threatening email promising to ruin your credit rating. They tell you to use a form to return said items, but never actually give you the form do not ever buy anything from this scumbags. They are pieces of shit.

If there were negative stars they would get -1mm. Total scam. Cheap poly clothing and buttons. Advertised as plush cloth. Karma will get you people

I wish I could give a zero star. This company has very poor customer service and really doesn"t care about the customer. The wrong shirt was selected and sent to us and we couldn't find the one that we wanted that was advertised on TV and they wouldn't just refund us. Instead, they wanted us to pay shipping fees and. Custom fees, total just about the cost of the shirt. Never again! Buyer beware!

Horrible. Ordered two nice looking pull overs and the quality was absolute crap. And, you can forget doing a return. It’s a lose/lose. Don’t go there.

Foolishly, I ordered some clothing from this company, two shirts and a sweater. As soon as my credit card was charged, the images disappeared. No order #, no anything. I thought that I could kiss my $200 good-bye but then, 12 days later, a package from China miraculously appeared. The shirts and the sweater bore no resemblance to what I ordered. The poorest quality, cut, and color of Chinese crap you can imagine. Given the reviews before me, I'm just going to chalk this up to experience: don't go near this scam. I only wish I had read these reviews before I parted with my money.

I wish there was a zero star. This is a complete joke. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS IN THIS COMPANY. The shirt I ordered was nothing like what I received. This company is a complete set up. The crazy part is after I tried to return the product they kept trying to negotiate with me offering me 10% reimbursement on what I purchased. I always check the star rating for some reason. I didn’t with this company. I’ve learned a valuable lesson.

I've seen many Chinese companies that are scams...this is one of two i know that are not.The women's material colors are lovely, the photos are accurate, the prices are very low, the garments are well made, the customer service is staffed by people (rather than AI) who are polite and respond in detail quickly. Once you realize that the "size" charts are garment measures, rather than a person's measures, they are accurate.

On the negative side...the company is in China not NY which makes returns lengthy and expensive. (But they do offer decent exchange and substitution options.) Also most of the materials are polyester, which in the US we would not call "breathable". Personally i'd prefer more cotton, silk, and natural materials. Also, it would be helpful if they listed the exact material specs along with the product details.

THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT! STAY AWAY!! Despite the optics this entity portrays, there is no Clarkson NY in New York City, and the goods they send you are from China and don’t resemble the pictures/descriptions given online. The goods they send are very poor quality, badly made, cheap knockoffs. Once you get the items and realize you’ve been duped you’ll be charged $40 to return the items to China in order to get a refund. Stay away, don’t get ripped off! Sadly they have not been shut down my the major credit card companies yet. Amex told me once they have a few more complaints that they will cut ties with the company.

This company has nothing to do with NYC. They are base in China. If you want to make a return you will need to pay for shipping to China and they will deduct customs charges. Quality is poor. Sizing is not accurate. Stay away!

I would have given Clarkson -NYC negative stars if it was an option.

This is a Chinese company misleadingly appearing to be a legitimate company in the US. I obviously take the hit for not reading the unanimous negative reviews online, and they are all saying exactly what I experienced.
The order took 3 weeks to arrive, the fabric quality and workmanship are cheap and subpar, no labels, and the cut is similar to a garbage bag.
The return policy is non-exixtant unless you want to get further scammed by paying $25-$40 for shipping and another up to $20 for customs fees....that would be more than I was ripped off for in the beginning.

Complete scam. Do not order from this company. Ordered two shirts and the quality is crap. Impossible to return the items and get your money back.

Do not buy from this site. It’s a Chinese company and fraudulently claims it is based in Nee York City. The clothing is poor quality and not sized properly.

Once you receive the inferior product, you find out that this is a Chinese company and you must return the merchandise at your own expense to their warehouse in China. They must receive it within 30 days of you receiving it. Obviously, the shipping would be too pricey and it will never get there on time. SCAM

Shirts look great online but what I received were garbage shirts: colors not as advertised, frayed, poorly made and shipped from China! Ripped off big time!

If I could do zero stars I would. When we got the shirts they were horrible quality. They looked NOTHING like the pictures. When I tried to return them they asked me to go through several hoops like taking a picture of them a certain way and you have to have the original packaging and shipping label. I had all of that, followed the instructions and emailed everything back to CS. They then told me I could get another item and keep the shirts and only pay an addition shipping charge of $21 or return the shirts and pay to ship them back which is between $25 and $45.

Why would I want additional crappy quality items? That is not an option. And paying up to $45 to return 2 shirts is obnoxious so I guess I will chalk this up to $100 lesson learned.

I hope this helps others not make the same mistake and you DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

The product is garbage and the money back guarantee is fake. Stay away from Clarkson. They tried to get me to pay $11.50 for another item to replace the junk that I wanted to return but the pictures don't match what they send so why would anyone give them another $11.50?
Very poor decision to buy from them. A wasted $70.

Ordered via Facebook and the delivered product was nowhere near the advertised quality. Cheap fabric, poor construction/sewing. How can this company stay in business?
