This is a scam web site. Not sure where they get their product but it all has the labels cut out so you can not tell. Nothing is close to the items you bought and even if it fit, the product is crap. They basically sent me rags which I gave to Good will. I complained to my credit card company where they deleted the charges and Carlson re asserted them. It cost more to return the crap to china than you paid in the first place. So, This scam company hired a third party bill collector to go after me. Finally I just repaid them for the crap they sent me. I guess it is my bad to allow a scam company to rip me off. 🤮

Cheap clothes from China that look nothing like the picture: color, size, fabric and style do not match the description at all. The clothes are worth maybe 10% of the price. They don’t own a NYC store. It’s not a US company. It’s 100% Chinese fraud.

And trying to return their garbage is next to impossible. It takes a week and multiple tries before they will even send their return address IN CHINA to you. You will have to pay to return shipping plus customs fees, which might cost $100 or more.

I suggest challenging the credit card charge for their blantant fraud.

The product I received looked nothing like the photos on the website. The quality was poor and felt misleading compared to how it was advertised.

When I contacted customer service, I was told I could return the item—but only if I paid $25–$40 in return shipping, which is almost as much as the shirt itself. Despite placing the order in the U.S. and the item being shipped domestically, no reasonable or straightforward U.S.-based return option was clearly offered.

Instead, I was pushed toward keeping an item I didn’t want and paying extra for a replacement, which feels like a way to avoid processing proper returns. The return policy was not transparent at checkout, and the entire burden is placed on the customer when the product doesn’t match expectations.

Overall, Clarkson NYC makes returns unnecessarily difficult and expensive. I would not recommend ordering unless you’re prepared to keep whatever you receive, regardless of quality. There are far better brands out there with honest product photos and fair return policies.

This cheap shirt had no label, was made of very cheap material and was much too big. It is horrible. There is no way to return the item. The return policy is horrible to non-existent. The app SHOP is working with Clarkson and this makes me not want to do business with SHOP again.

Purchased shirts based on their AD. Shirts were so inferior it was PATHETIC. Wrong size, no tags, inferior fabric... I would not let my dog wear!
Shipping took too long and made it impossible for a return within the 30 day return window, especially back to China. Absolutely the worst customer service (totally AI generated responses)
This company is misrepresenting their products and SCAMMING anyone who dares to buy anything from them. NEGATIVE STAR RATING!!

I advise against purchasing from this company. They misrepresented their return policy; they sent clothing with sleeves of various lengths and poor stitching subsequently requested that I cover the return shipping costs, offering only a partial refund. Additionally, they utilized a Gmail account in an apparent attempt to suggest that PayPal was involved and that the funds would be withdrawn from that account. The structure of their emails indicates that English is not their first language. Furthermore, a ChatGPT-based analysis suggests that the message from Stephen was highly likely generated by artificial intelligence. They sent conflicting offers of resolution as if different people were hanging the situation. Bottom line is do not buy from them. I forwarded screen shots of everything that transpired so hopefully the credit card company will side with me in the charge dispute.

Deceptive advertising...low quality...extremely long delivery time.
Consider this company a scam.

Clarkson NYC represents that it sells new, branded apparel and states that products are eligible for a full refund upon return. However, my experience, along with substantial public evidence, indicates otherwise:

The clothing I received was unbranded and shipped without tags, despite being marketed as new, branded merchandise.

When I requested a return and refund, Clarkson NYC refused to honor a full refund, instead offering only a 35% refund, which directly contradicts their stated return policy.

The company does not clearly disclose restrictive return conditions or excessive return shipping costs at the time of purchase.

Clarkson NYC currently has a 1.1-star rating on Trustpilot, with over 200 one-star reviews. With the exception of one review, all ratings are one star, and many consumers report identical issues involving misrepresentation of goods, misleading return policies, and refusal to issue refunds.

If I could rate zero stars I would. My bad for not reading the reviews before ordering. While I did receive the shirts I ordered, they were of such poor quality, I will never wear them. Donating to charity. What a waste of money. Oh, and don't even think of returning anything. As others point out, you might as well send to the moon, that's how unrealistic it is. Shame on them, but shame on me for falling victim to this scam.

Scam, don’t touch.

This is 100% a scam. They photocopy an image of a storefront, not theirs, then claim that is their store. The short looked good on the website but arrived in a tiny envelope from Singapore, no shirt label, incredibly cheap, not as shown, pitiful tailoring, incredibly undersized, a joke.. Originally the price was $39, but they charged my card $69. No way to reach anyone. Cant return. Horrible, they should be banned.

BEWARE - Misleading product and deceptive return practices.
The item received was materially different from what’s advertised on the website (cheaper details, different construction, white buttons instead of tone on tone). When I contacted customer service, I was told I’d have to pay $25–$40 to ship the item overseas + Duty fees I would have to pay for for a return despite the brand presenting itself as a “trusted U.S. company” with a money-back guarantee. This lack of transparency and refusal to take responsibility for their own misrepresentation is unacceptable.

Here’s another scam warning! Someone needs to find whoever is profiting from this business and take action. The quality of the fabric, buttons, cut and sewing of these shirts is abysmal. There’s absolutely no way they are the same products as shown in the marketing photos.

These are extremely cheap, made in China shirts that don’t even have labels on them.

Shirt I received looked NOTHING like what they advertised. They then told me I could pay $65 to return my $60 shirt. Total scam.

Horrible quality clothes and not at all like the pictures. When you try to return rhe items, they offer 10% or an exchange for other low quality items. Avoid this seller st all costs. While NYC is in the name, they are clearly a foreign company operating dishonestly in the US. They should be banned and investigated.

My husband ordered 3 shirts from this company and when the ordered arrived the shirts were very thin
and the quality was so bad it was shameful. Very difficult to get in touch with customer service and the return process is a complete joke. You would be better off buying shirts from Dollar General. This company is a flea market seller.

These guys are fraudlent. First of all you are not buying cloths from NYC and the quality is just plain terrible and nothing like the website appears. To add further insult you can't reach them for a refund or return either. I hate being duped!!!

Same BAD experience as the other reviews. The 5 shirts received were not the same as the pictures. They didn't even have a tag showing the manufacturer or the materials used or cleaning instructions. The "Premium" in the website description was nowhere to be found. My attempts to return were met with "free exchanges" "for only a $21.95 shipping fee". When I insisted in a return/refund they countered with a 10% refund and then eventually a whopping 15% refund "because your return shipping cost will likely be much more". In fact, they tried to demand all these photos before I finally got them to give me the return mailing instructions. Yep > China. Yep > costs nearly the full amount to return ship that I would have perhaps gotten in a refund. So, I called Capital One and disputed the charge, which they were great to help with. BTW, hilariously they show the same exact review "4.6 (1,267+ reviews)" for all 5 of my shirts and it now seems on all of their clothing items. How wonderful that every item they sell has the same exact review and number of reviews!!!

This website is a scam! Do not buy products from them. They send you crappy products and when you try to return, they try to tell you how you can get just 10% or 20% of the price back (rather than 100%) because their return process is so difficult and costs $40-60 because you have to ship the item to China through customs and pay additional fees. After several emails complaining they finally gave me the shipping info. to return the product to China but give you so many instructions that no one could follow it.
