Man, should have read Trustpilot before ordering. This is chinese/overseas garbage. I ordered 2 button ups and not only do they not look anything like the photos, they're fresh out of the bag wrinkled as all get out - when one of the claims is "wrinkle free". Take a look at their website and you'll see nothing but fake/AI generated images to make it look like they're a real store in NYC. they're not. Try and find the store in NY, there's no address. It's simply a chinese scam.

Merchandise was very poor quality, did not fit. Tried to return, but was unable to access the weblink required by the merchant before returning items. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. The credit card company also got no response when the merchant was notified of the dispute, so they refunded my payment. Now, over four months later, the merchant is demanding payment (using their payment link) or return of the merchandise. I will not be doing either.

I agree with everyone else. Complete rip-off, horrible quality, nothing like picture in the online ad. I inquired about a return and have not received a response.

Only wish I would have seeked out these reviews before buying. Total scam internet company. Product is so poor its laughable. Shows 4.5 Star Review on website but is obviously made up by them because you can't actually see any reviews.
When trying to return, you will just get AI generated emails. I have to hand it to them, they have done a bang up job of building a website that looks legit and the pictures of the clothing make them look very nice.

In early Sept, 2025, I placed an order for two polo shirts. My experience was the same as everyone else reporting on TrustPilot. The shirts were nothing close to the correct size, sleeves were not the same length, and the material and workmanship were the worst I have ever seen. The shirts were nothing like what was depicted on the CNY website. CNY is fraudulent company based in China with no presence what-so-ever in the United States. After receipt of the shirts in late Sept, 2025, I filed a complaint with the company. Shortly thereafter they ran a transaction and refunded my purchase price without requiring the return of the defective merchandise.

Now, three months later, I am receiving emails from people named Diana, Archris, Diana, and Abby (no last names given nor any contact information), purportedly with the Clarkson NY Finance Department demanding payment of $107.91. Each email has escalated language with threats of legal action and transfer of the ''debt" to a U.S. based collection agency.

As soon as Clarkson shipped the knowingly defective shirts, they were in violation of 18 U.S. Code § 1343 - Fraud by wire, radio, or television.

I just don't know how operations like this get access to our market in the U.S., and how the credit card processing companies don't decertify operators like this.

fell victim to seeing a nice shirt on Facebook. Ordered and teh shirt is 3 sizes too small. It is also super low quality. Upon return, I paid $60 for the shirt, and they want $20 to send it back CHINA. Will never use again.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST — TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT BUY. As a first-time customer, I ordered nine polos. They were the lowest-quality shirts I’ve ever received, clearly mass-produced overseas, and they didn’t even include the company logo. When I attempted to return them, the process was intentionally obstructive. I was told I would need to pay return shipping of approximately $400—nearly the cost of the merchandise itself. After extensive back-and-forth, the company ultimately offered only a 35¢-on-the-dollar refund while requiring me to keep the unusable products. This appears to be a structured business practice: ship misrepresented products, make returns prohibitively expensive, then push customers into accepting partial refunds while keeping items they’ll never wear. I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase to look elsewhere.

I purchased a shirt I saw online and it was not the correct size. I've been email the info email address and there has been.no response. This is a total scam! Do not buy from this website!

If I could give a zero I would. Shirt quality is horrible and when I tried to return it they said it would cost $40 to ship it back to china. (The shirt cost $40!). It’s a scam. Avoid at all costs!

Do not purchase from them!!!! Their clothing doesn’t look like the pictures. Not even close. Made very cheaply and then they make it impossible to return. Wanted to charge me $40 to ship the shirt back. Total scam.

I’ve been fighting this for over a month. The company has now resorted to pretending they are PayPal and advising me that I don’t have any options except the terms they outlined. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I wish there was a number lower than 1. The sizing is awful. The product is awful. I plan to give the shirts I unfortunately purchased away.
I wrote to customer service to complain and they offered 10% off more bad products.

Poor quality; thin shirt and deceptive color description. AVOID MAKING MY MISTAKE

This company is a farce and scam. Thier images suggest they are an upscale NY city clothier. Clearly no physical presence in NYC or in the USA....demand any returns be shipped at your cost to China....max of 3 items/ shipment. Also, charge a "handling fee" per shipment. Also charge tariffs to return . The shirt I bought was sized all wrong. Forget trying to make contact with the Clarkson-NYC messaging or email, they don't answer and when they do they threaten you will action. I have disputed with my cc company....will see where this goes. This company doesn't even deserve a 1 rating but I couldn't see how to give them a zero.

Same as all of the other people who purchased from Clarkson NY. After receiving 3 shirts the only label was a M for medium. No label for how to wash. One of the shirts missing a button. I washed them and the material was lousy. Tried to send them back and the charge to return was crazy. I called my Credit Card and since Clarkson didn't respond to them they refunded me the whole amount. I told Clarkson I wouldn't pay the fee to send them back and just send me a return label. Last email they sent me said

After reading reviews some people still haven't received any kind of refund. This site needs to be looked into by the justice department and taken down. Do not purchase anything from Clarkson NY

I bought a shirt, washed it and it shrunk to an infant size. I was unable to wear it. Company refused a return or exchange. This company is a scam.

So I ordered two of their polyester men's, long sleeve shirts, black & brown, through a facebook ad. Great ad. They arrived soon after. Black one was perfect, brown was wrong size(way bigger than the black one) as well as had the buttons on the wrong side, women's perhaps? Reached out to them, they responded quickly. Asked for photos, which I sent. They said they would send me a replacement if I paid for shipping, told them that it was there error so why should I pay any extra. They then asked for video of the two shirts at which point I declined and will not ever purchase from them again. A regrettable situation and experience. I would not suggest buying from them due to this service matter. That being said, the shirt quality was good.
