when my mobility scooter broke down and i tried calling them for help i was told they could'nt find me on the systum and would'nt send a brake down truck to help me

I have taken out ETA bike insurance on the recommendation of a friend. He used the service recently and told me how pleased he was with it. From his bike breaking down to being taken home, all within 2 hours. £24 a year seems incredible value for this insurance.

Very simple to set up. No tech questions, just basic I.D. required. The only annoying thing was the date of birth section. Having to arrow back forty plus years to find the correct date was a bit of a bind, much easier to type it straight in.

I had 30 days free comp. cover on buying a Jorvik Trike. I wanted to continue with breakdown recovery only. ETA customer services were very helpful and cover obtained at £24.00 annually.

Fantastic service after my bikes were stolen from my van. The claim was handled quickly and smoothly, all sorted within two weeks. Everyone I dealt with was really helpful, so I’ve gone ahead and insured my new bikes with them again.

This is the first time I’ve used you to insure my new mobility scooter I found you very easy to arrange online and I done a lot of research on other companies which came up a lot more expensive and didn’t cover what you do I would highly recommend you to any body who wants to insure there mobility scooter thanks

I couldn't wait to write this review because I had the most amazing experience from ETA Cycle Rescue. I was 18 miles from home and had a flat battery on my e-bike. 30 mins after the initial call and I was picked up by an Uber XL (VW Sharan, all back seats folded down). Also, the ETA helpdesk assistant phoned me a couple of times to make sure I was near or at my final destination, I have never experienced such a heartwarming customer service in my life. To think that ETA has been running for 35 years, you're definitely doing something right and I think it's the customer service that makes you shine. I feel guilty paying only £24 per year when the Uber journey cost £36 and there's unlimited call outs anywhere in the UK, that is the stuff of dreams for only £24 per year! Amazing amazing amazing!

I had a very good experience with the ETA the last time I owned a car and they were my first choice this time. Having personal cover is great as I drive my husband's car from time to time. My only issue is that the website is not always easy to use.

The application form was simple enough, but was repeatedly rejected as were a couple of my attempts to make the payment . I tried again today and it worked first time.

I've just joined and it was easy and straightforward to do so. I asked a question and had a prompt reply. The policy papers came through almost immediately.
It gives me peace of mind

So after paying into the system for 10 years, being let down by your computer glitch, yet I've still not have a refund for poor service, Your incompetent. Perhaps I should get in touch with rogue traders
