Fast to send a shut off notice but make you wait 6 hours+ on the phone….. seems like they don’t actually want people to pay unless they can bill them extra for the turn on fees and other bullshit ofte... Ver mais

Truly wish I could give a lower review

Truly wish I could give a lower review, my power along with the people on my street has been out for just over 23 hours now. It is hot outside and almost impossible to get sleep due to the heat. They must all be on vacation doing absolutely nothing. My worst regards to eversource. Most of them probably are still in training.

The power goes out in Branford every…

The power goes out in Branford every time there's a strong breeze off the Sound. But the worst part is the bill—the 'delivery charges' are often higher than the actual electricity I use. We have no other choice for power here, which is incredibly frustrating.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST ! My son has a medical condition and somebody cut my power off and it was supposed to be the apartment next to mine ! Its been 17 hours AND I STILL HAVE NO POWER , nor was i able to speak with somebody to get an update ! Worst elcerticity company ever !

Just trying to take over the service at…

Just trying to take over the service at a new house I bought and can’t get them to save my spot in the queue and call me back as their system says they will.
Now, third day trying, I’m just going to sit on the call forever until someone answers and can help me.
I tried to use their online tools but the address lacked out a message to call them for help. Immediately knew this was going to suck.

Just heard they want to increase all ready to high electric bills by 11%. It’s sad the greed is unbelievable. How bout I just direct deposit my check to Eversource and give you a lung and kidney.

Poor communication

Poor communication. Rude staff!! Beyond rude. takes forever to get anywhere with them! Dumb and USELESS. Quick to shut everyone off but not to restore it, just take a payment and let you linger for DAYS. 0/10 AWFUL.

Legal extortion

Fast to send a shut off notice but make you wait 6 hours+ on the phone….. seems like they don’t actually want people to pay unless they can bill them extra for the turn on fees and other bullshit often caused by their inability to have a functional website or have a useable mobile interface via phone or internet. Hold you hostage by having a monopoly on power and then screw their clients with impunity. Random outages that you still get charged for the day for. All around scumbags. But they get away with it because the way are a state sanctioned monopoly I wonder how many relatives had to breed in this state for that to happen.

Service disconnected for payment…

Service disconnected for payment yesterday morning. Payment was made the day before and was seen in the system by every cs rep that I spoke with during the day. My 80y.o mother who's O2 dependent 24/7 wasn't able to use her O2 concentrator. Albeit we had a few portable tanks, they don't last indefinitely a few hours at best. So from 9am until 6pm they couldn't get anyone to return and reconnect the power. Total BS and very intentionally cruel. They waited exactly 24h to restore the power and my mother is now in the hospital suffering from hypoxia due to lack of appropriate oxygen. Thanks Eversource (I know you don't GAF)

Unnecessary and frustrating billing errors

The frustration that I feel towards this gas company is so unnecessary. The last bill said we owed $288 for 4 days of gas service with a thermostat locked in at 62 degrees. I called and explained the error which they quickly acknowledged and said to check back tomorrow and you should have your fixed bill. Well it's been a few days and still no fixed bill. Now asking for a week to fix it. But this is not the first mistake they've made with billing. A few months prior it took him 3 weeks to put the meter reading and the amount of a bill on the website. By then, the next month's bill was due. So frustrating. It took several weeks for them to fix it. Something is off with their billing department. Eversource, you are a large company with a lot of resources. please fix your problems. It's very frustrating.
Most of the time the customer service reps are very courteous and helpful.

Thanks for a pleasant customer service experience at Eversource in Massachusetts

After waiting on the phone to speak with a custormer service person to help me, I was connected to a delightful and helpful woman named Aneesa. She helped me create an account for my new home and patiently helped me navigate the online process to complete my account. Aneesa was extremely helpful and very generous with her kind support and a very pleasant demeanor. Thank you Aneesa for your skills and patience!

Awful company- Harassment

I am filing a complaint because this company’s billing and customer service practices are unacceptable.

Their billing is consistently incorrect, and despite providing full payment information each month, they continue to send harassing shut-off notices threatening to terminate service. This happens repeatedly.

Trying to resolve the issue is nearly impossible. Customer service is essentially unreachable. Today alone I have been on hold for over 90 minutes, and previously I waited over 30 minutes with no resolution. It is extremely frustrating and wastes a significant amount of my time every single month.

The constant shut-off notices, despite having valid payment information on file, feel like harassment and create unnecessary stress.

This company clearly needs to improve:
• Billing accuracy
• Customer service accessibility
• Resolution of recurring account issues

I am requesting that they correct the billing problems, stop sending unwarranted shut-off notices, and provide a reliable way to reach customer support.

Terrible company that raises rates and…

Terrible company that raises rates and has awful customer service. Always a long wait time and when they call back it's quick and then it takes forever to get them again. I'm sure the long wait times are because of everyone else complaining. They don't do anything to help you with the high bills or rates. Worst run company around.

Find another company, EVERSOURCE Worst Customer Service EVER

If I could give minus number I would. I called because I got a letter in the mail saying I had a past due? I had processed payment with the last customer service person I talked with because I was not receiving any bills in the mail?. No reason why I was not being billed? Ok move on. Can I get my bills mailed, OK. Month goes by no bill? Now I get a letter pasted due. Why? No mailing of invoice but I do get past due. Called Eversouce on the number given in the letter, 6 minute wait just to get someone that can not help, Kevin, he takes credit card info? But then says he can't help? Letter gives the phone number to call. Why can't the people who I am told to call help? Worst customer service 1.3 stars, they get that because you have to give one star to write a review.

We were given a mailed letter about a repair that included my address. My electric would be shut off from 7?8? To 3 pm. I called to check on that date and it was confirmed the work would be done. Most of the day we by with no lose of power . I called only to be told it would now be done the next day after I waited all day. The excuse they could not get enough workers for the job. My remark was what?? You don’t have enough workers ??
Today is the reschedule and once again 3 hours have gone by with no electric shut off.. I am now waiting for a call back!
Why is there no other choice but Eversource in parts of Conn??
