It was a trick; they overcharged me for addtional earbuds I do not want.

The major discount especially when your earbuds were rated #1 was very pleasing and I was happy Lithuanian was included.

The product is a combination of a M8 TWS5.3 blue tooth ear bud headset and the Transkit phone App software. The ear buds can be bought for around 20Euro Transkit is normally a paid for service but they also have basic free version you can download and this is what Sona buds provides. So they have packaged up some generic earbuds and an open source software package. They look like a marketing company especially given the hard sell on their website. You could put together the same package for 20% of what Sonabuds charge.

Having said all that they do actually work OK so far but there is significant lag on the verbal translation and when it gets to far behind it just skips forward.

I would not recommend buying from Sonabuds

The Sonabuds response to my comments that they posted below totally fails to address the main point I made that you can buy or get the exact same hardware and software components for about 20% of what sonabuds charge.

I meant to order one set, but ended up with 3. It wasn’t easy to see that the order form defaulted to the deal for buying 3 at one time.

Hat alles gut geklappt. Kann ich noch eine Rechnung haben. Es funktioniert auch alles. Braucht man also nicht mehr zu lernen.

The translators seemed to be very slow to respond, by speeding up processing speed they may become a more valuable tool! Not to critisize, but I found that using the Google translator on live conversation seems to be more efficient at this time.

Alles in allem sind die Sona Buds gut, bloß als Brillenträger hab ich das Problem das sie nicht gut am Ohr sitzen.

I was impressed that they reached out to me right away to issue me a refund.

The earbuds are made of hard plastic…no flexible material anywhere and very uncomfortable. But most troubling issue is the translator application doesn't work with the earbuds. So you’re paying for an application you can get for free. This was commented on in other customer reviews. Hope they fix that issue. Returning for full refund. Unfortunately paying for return shipping per SonaBuds policy.

This is no doubt a bit of a scam. In no way shape of form are these earbuds the Sonabuds. They're seemingly generic earbuds (absolutely no name on the packaging till you open the box and find the name on the instructions. It's the type of instructions that state things like "the product might have this printed on the box, if not it'll be somewhere else"). This product is called TransKit, with it's own app (not Sonabuds) called TransKit. And that's the truth. Also, they were delivered via Amazon, which I had no idea would be happening, in fact, when I was contacted by Amazon to let me know they were delivering a package to me, I thought THAT was a scam till said package actually arrived... Dude. Please, if you're going to sell a product, be proud of what you're selling. Don't use another, totally unrelated brand to make sales. It looks really bad. That being said, do the earbuds work? Yes. Is the product easy to set up and use? Yes. Do I think they are worth the almost 80 euros I spent on them? Not sure yet, we'll see how long they last. But they're comfortable to wear, and honestly, I'm just happy they do the job I need them to do. And they were delivered on time. I can also listen to my music... you know, and other stuff like that on my phone. And the sound is good. Thanks for the earbuds.
