Card posted February 22nd in Venice. No indication from shop assistant that the stamp was not official. I sent another card to the same address in France as the first one with a proper stamp and it arrived in three days. The Global one arrived yesterday, April 17th. Incidentally the tracker still shows itbas undelivered. Never again.

I have two aunts in their 90s who love a postcard and I was in Verona. So I bought cards. And then stamps from a Tabaccheri (as you do). The guy didn't mention that the stamps are not valid for regular Italian red mailboxes. After writing the cards, I walked to one of the locations on the GPN app for the Orange Mailbox, but it was just a vending machine in a hole in the wall. No mailbox. Did a Google Maps search for Orange Mailbox. Nothing. Another site on the GPN map was a half hour bus ride away, and what guarantee that it wouldn't be another hole-in-the-wall vending machine? So I'll be going home with useless cards in my luggage. Thanks GPN for wasting my time and money. And disappointing two elderly aunts...

At the end of February, I sent 8 postcards from Taormina to Germany using their orange post box. Now it’s over a month later and not a single one has arrived. Not one.
The stamps were also far more expensive than the official Italian post, so apparently you pay extra not for better service, but for a complete lack of results. And because their website sounds so reassuring and trustworthy, I didn’t keep the QR codes. That was my mistake: I assumed I was dealing with a serious company.
If you want to throw away money and make your postcards disappear, GNP is perfect.

Teurer und langsamer als die die normale italienische Post. Postkarten aus Florenz nach Deutschland haben mit GPN fast 50 Tage gedauert. Die Karten mit der normalen Post nur knapp 2 Wochen.

Sent 6 postcards in the second week of september 2025 via the orange postbox. None (0) of them arrived (now 23 december 2025). It’s a scam.
About the reply from GPN:
The Track&trail doesn’t work (invalid number?); I made a picture from one of the postcards, but who does that? Maybe the reply from the GPN is based on the fact that nobody makes a note or picture from the code on the stamp. So, no confidence at all in costumer service from GPN.

Cartolina spedita il 25 di agosto dalla provincia di Trapani, destinazione provincia di Bergamo, siamo al 3 di dicembre..non è mai arrivata.
Donatella del servizio clienti ha provato a risolvere la situazione ma senza successo.
Sono ancora in attesa del rimborso promesso.

Nie wieder GPN!!
Ich habe in Levanto (Cinque Terre) im Infobüro des Bahnhofs eine Postkarte mit Briefmarke gekauft und diese im gleichen Infobüro in den Briefkasten eingeworfen.
Ich war der Ansicht, dass im offiziellen Infobüro sicher die offizielle Post berücksichtigt wird…
Nach 6 Wochen ist diese Karte noch nicht beim Empfänger eingetroffen und beim Tracking erscheint schon lange:
Your postcard is on the way to the recipient!
Leider habe ich nun durch die vielen negativen Bewertungen erfahren, dass dies kein Einzelfall ist.
Durch eine solch unseriöse Firma schadet man dem Tourismus. Ich verstehe nicht, wieso die offizielle Post nicht gegen diese Firma vorgeht!

3 weeks without any update. Sent 3 postcards. Tracking QR does not work - website says invalid/non existing tracking number. Contacted customer service asking about tracking update last week, no response from them either.
If I knew beforehand probably would send with regular local post.
"delivery times are between 15 and 25 working days"
It has been 32 days since I sent them. At least I have tracking update that only says "Your postcard is on the way to the recipient!" which I hope it's been doing for last month. Absolute joke of a service.

Ich hatte diese Briefmarken am Gardasee erhalten und hatte glücklicherweise im Lauf der Reise orangefarbene Briefkästen entdeckt, in die ich alle Karten geworfen habe.
Sie sind 6 Monate später in einem Rutsch angekommen.

I got scammed by GNP on my last trip to Venice. When walking by a tabaccheria I noticed a sign that offered postcards including stamps. With great anticipation, I thought this would make a fantastic surprise for my family at home, not knowing that this choice would completely ruin my vacation in the end.
Without any further information, I was handed a paper bag with fancy looking stamps. However, the bag had printed on a strange note saying I was only allowed to put them in orange instead of red mail boxes. Luckily, I read the information before putting my postcards into the red box right in front the store where ironically I had just bought the stamps. During the following evening, I came to the realization that there is not a single orange post box in the entire city of Venice. Moreover, the provided locations on GNP‘s website were all wrong and the QR codes on the stamps not scannable. I spent the rest of my evening desperately searching for one of the orange boxes without any success before I finally had to board my train back home.
Note: I just saw that GNP always replies to bad ratings here in a standardized manner and asks you to contact their customer service. Please do not let yourself be fooled by this since the customer service is not helpful in any way. After having been promised a refund, I got insulted for the numerous negative reviews of other aggrieved customers and even indirectly was made fun of for not using the official Italian Postal Service, not to mention that my refund was completely denied in the end. Do not waste your time and energy on expecting any kind of help from this dubious and incredibly rude company.

If you don't want to send the postcard directly, stick with Post Italiane... Cheaper and 10,000x better branch availability...

Meno di una stella non si può. Vergognoso, più di un mese per recapitare una cartolina, Italia-Italia. La cartolina è stata rovinata con l’apposizione di un adesivo che ha coperto anche parte della fotografia.

Leider habe ich den Fehler begangen zu glauben, man würde in einer einheimischen Trafik ausschließlich nur echte Briefmarken von der italienischen Post erhalten. Dem war leider nicht so, denn stattdessen wurden mir die selbsterfundenen Marken dieses betrügerischen Unternehmens angedreht. Als ich meinen Fehler bemerkte, war es leider schon zu spät und mein letzter Abend in Venedig wurde vollständig durch die erfolglose Suche nach einem der ominösen orangen Briefkästen ruiniert, die selbstverständlich nirgendwo in der Stadt zu finden sind. Die Adressen auf der Webseite von GPN sind allesamt falsch, zudem sind sie nicht richtig auf der Karte markiert und sogar vor dem Geschäft selbst, in dem ich die Marken gekauft hatte, gab es ausschließlich nur den echten roten Briefkasten der italienischen Post.
Im Nachhinein musste ich anhand der vielen Kommentare zu dieser Betrugsmasche jedoch feststellen, dass es Glück im Unglück war, keine dieser orangen Phantom-Boxen gefunden zu haben. So konnte ich die bereits fertig beschrifteten und „frankierten“ Postkarten zumindest mit nach Österreich nehmen und dort mit der echten Post verschicken, anstatt sie durch die gierigen Finger dieser verbrecherischen Firma am Ende in irgendeiner Mülltonne landen zu lassen. Die 7,50 Euro für fünf Stück „Briefmarken“ musste ich bedauerlicherweise als Lehrgeld in Kauf nehmen.
Das Fazit: Es handelt sich hierbei um einen astreinen Scam bzw. eine Touristenfalle, die um nichts besser ist als die Rosenhändler oder Taubenfütterer am Markusplatz - nur dass man von denen zumindest noch einen tatsächlichen Gegenwert bekommt. Finger weg von diesen frei erfundenen Briefmarken und wenn sie euch jemand im Geschäft andrehen will, dann sollte man meiner Ansicht nach sogar am besten die Polizei rufen. Es ist mir vollkommen unbegreiflich, wie einem solch offensichtlich kriminell arbeitenden Unternehmen nicht schon längst juristisch das Handwerk gelegt werden konnte.

Cartoline arrivate ok. Ma perché coprire il francobollo e QR code con una striscia bianca che copre mezza cartolina? Questa striscia ha rovinato e fatto diventare illeggibile il QR code e semi leggibile l'indirizzo e il pensiero scritto sulla cartolina. Se volete fare una cosa fatela bene o non fatela

Leider haben auch wir den Fehler gemacht, die Briefmarken dieses Unternehmens zu kaufen. Wie schade um unsere Postkarten. Ich bin schockiert darüber, dass hier fast ausschließlich schlechte Bewertungen sind und das Unternehmen unter jede Bewertung nur den Standardtext antwortet. Schade, dass es Menschen gibt, die der Meinung sind, Geld daraus schlagen zu wollen, dass man aus dem Urlaub Postkarten verschickt. Unsere Postkarten sind auch nach 3 1/2 Wochen noch nicht angekommen. Leider kann ich für dieses katastrophale Unternehmen nicht weniger als einen Stern vergeben.

Mi hanno chiesto di imbucare una cartolina, due mailbox ad agosto erano chiuse….Al terzo tentativo ho trovato un negozio aperto. Tra ricerche e giri vari ho perso 30 minuti per spedire!
