I meant to call Uber directly but this…
I meant to call Uber directly but this service came up so I used it because they said it would be .27 per mile and I needed to get home. The driver was supposed to be 1 min out but 15 mins later I called to check and they said a driver was not ordered. I checked my account and this service charged $40 for doing nothing. I called to cancel a membership I was unaware of and they refused. This is a predatory service.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry for the frustration and confusion this situation caused. Although our membership fees are generally nonrefundable, we have gone ahead and processed a refund for the membership as a courtesy.
We also reviewed the recording of your enrollment call to better understand what happened. At the beginning of the call, our representative identified the company as GoGoGrandparent and explained that we partner with Uber and Lyft to arrange rides. When you later asked whether you had reached Uber directly, our representative clarified that you had reached GoGoGrandparent, not Uber, and explained the difference between the services. You acknowledged the explanation and chose to continue with the registration so we could assist you with getting home.
Before registration, our representative also explained that GoGoGrandparent is a membership-based service, provided the monthly membership cost, gave you an estimated cost for the ride, and explained that our $0.27 concierge fee is charged per minute while in the vehicle.
We also confirmed that a driver was found and matched during the call, and you were provided with the driver's vehicle information and estimated arrival time. We understand that there were issues afterward with the ride, and we’re sorry that the overall experience did not go as expected.
We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention, and we hope the refund helps bring some resolution to what was a frustrating experience.

It is easy to set up a ride with the help of my GoGo assistant. The day of my ride, I received a confirmation and description of my driver and car, including license plate. I was given two calls regarding the timing of his arrival. Returning home was a simple call, and within minutes my ride arrived. Drivers are friendly, helpful and pleasant. I wish I had known about GoGo sooner - such a relief over cab companies and my own driving.

The refund is processed back to the original payment method. Since that card is no longer active, we recommend contacting your bank or card issuer directly. They will be able to advise you on how the refund will be applied or transferred to your current account.

I had 2 rides on 8/5/26. The first one was a pickup at my apartment. The vehicle that came was too high for me to get into. Another one came after a short while. That worked out well. However, when I left the doctor's office I called for a new ride, and sat outside on a bench in very high heat for a very long time. I'm not sure how long it was, but I called the driver number at least 5 times and the automated voice said that he'd be there in 4 minutes. 4 minutes every time. Finally I called the main number and they sent a new driver, who came quickly. I finally got home. Now, I find that I'm being charged for a cancelled ride. I didn't cancel any ride, and I'd like a refund.

A supervisor will also review your vehicle preferences with you. We can request a smaller vehicle that may be easier for you to enter; however, requesting a specific vehicle type can sometimes result in a longer wait depending on what vehicles are available in your area at the time.
You should receive a call within the next 24 to 48 hours. If the supervisor is unable to reach you, they’ll leave a voicemail. Please return our call and ask to speak with a supervisor so we can make sure your account is set up appropriately and address any remaining concerns.
