Awful, it is cheating!
Please don’t buy from this shop, very very very bad quality of china and I think they are scammer as they don’t refund your money back despite return of item.

I absolutely agree with every negative comment before me.
This is NOT Harpers of London - it’s HARPERS OF CHINA.
I panic bought for a dinner dance - I ordered two sizes of each dress - two in number . Awful cheap and nasty material - shocking !!
I went to return and was quoted £38 - the products came to £98.
I asked for help and they started to barter asking me to keep it for 10% off - I didn’t want it and it arrived two weeks after the event anyway .
I eventually settled on 45% off - it’s put me off ordering from anything other than a high street store .
Should not be allowed.

I wish I could give lower than 1 star, but should have looked at other reviews before ordering. The shirt I ordered (Sofia) was listed at $105 on sale for $54. Plus shipping. It is not worth $10 and I could have found the same quality on Temu or SHEIN for that price. It arrive with a button missing. Then then try and get you to keep the item and they will let you order something else for an adjustment plus more shipping. I am so sorry that I bought this poor quality item that was damaged on arrival.

Please do not order from this company. The dresses look nothing like the photos and the material is awful. The sizes are confusing. I ordered four dresses all in the same size of XL and only one fitted. My friend who is a 10 managed to fit into one! They refused a refund less I posted them back to China at my own cost. It has now cost me over £100 to have one dress that fits in the cheapest material. Shocking! You have been warned.

The quality is shocking, the shoes I ordered were of a horrible quality and to return them would have cost me $40.00 plus taxes, I know this as I asked for a refund and had a long e mail back which is obviously sent to everyone who complains and basically told me that it wasn’t in my interest financially to get a refund but I should opt for a 10 % discount as that is what most of the clientele do. 10% on something I don’t want, it’s trash.

Avoid this company like a plague !!!!
They say refunds given within 14 days - that’s a lie
I returned the items 20/6/25 and still no refund
I posted with Royal Mail filled out the customs form as directed got proof of posting all given to the company via email to a lady named Iris !
When I contacted to company 4 weeks later I was told my parcel was stuck at customs as there was missing information , there wasn’t
The clothing was of poor quality.
The company are liars and frauds !!!!!

Again, used one star because there wasn't a lower score. Items took forever to arrive. The dresses did not match their photos. One dress on website was a beautiful green linen, but in reality it was a cheap cotton dress with no shape. The other dress in the photo was a wonderful shaped dress made of poplin or cotton. The actual dress was in different colors than the photo and was a slinky material that would probably be flammable. While I was waiting for my order I did some checking and found out that their business was a scam. They said they were in business for 50 years but in actuality they formed this company in January of 2025. Fortunately I contacted my bank and put a dispute on the order so that they would not pay out. The other deceitful promise on their website was "easy returns." No not easy. You have to pay to ship the items back to their warehouse in China. Look at the positive reviews. The names are clearly made up and ridiculous.

Item dreadful, poor quality and does not fit right. Tried to return but want it sending back to China recorded delivery at a cost of £20. Managed to finally get a 35% refund after many emails. Absolutely poor website, do not buy from here.

Cheap, rubbish quality items.
£20+ to mail them back for refund.
Fobbed off with emails regarding a refund saying stopped in customs. Then customer service email address changed and no reply at all from the new one.
After 6 months my items were returned to me with a customs note saying they had not been collected in China by Harper London.
Lesson learnt the hard way 😕

While you had a delivery problem, my beautiful green top just arrived. Fit and color are perfect. I had no problem in waiting for delivery as you contacted me soon after my order to advise me of the problem-very timely service. This top perfectly matches 2 of my outfits and I looked for many months to find this color.

Not satisfied with the quality of the items I purchased. I made multiple attempts to contact the company per their return policy instructions. I got no response whatsoever. Non-existent customer service.

Trying to return - 3 days later still trying to return - wish I had checked this first. 1st day - you can return with no details but let us send a different size. The dress (very poor quality material) was sent screwed up in a plastic bag. No I want a refund - 2nd day okay we can refund but again no details - can we give you a 10% discount - NO can you give me the return details. Obviously they feel this is a good sales tactic but it is not as we won't be using again. Looked into them a bit more - the return address is in China so I accepted 20% discount which comes from Claire's Boutique which is the best I'll get I think.

SCAM. False advertising and then you have to pay return shipping for a that you did not order.

Terrible quality of the dresses. False advertising in that one would think the items came from the USA. IT COMES FROM CHINA AND IS FINAGLED THAT YIU CANNOT RETURN THE ITEM WITHOUT LOOSING MONEY. BEWARE

If I could have given them negative stars, I would have. I bought two dresses from Harper and Lane. The material felt like it was made of vinyl or cellophane, the dress did not look like the picture, as a lightweight summer dress that flowed. Basically it felt like plastic. I.was aware of their return policy. However, they don't want you to return anything. Instead, they want to give you a new item to replace the old item that you didn't like. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, even though I'm pretty sure that nothing is gonna come of it. The emails are such that they're written by AI. They're very solicitous, bland and uncommitted. They're not gonna send me my money. I'm really positive of this. The emails tell me to send the dresses back to their mailing address. But when you go to the website, there is no mailing address. And the phone number is in the Netherlands. So don't try calling them because you won't reach them. I've learned my lesson and will be checking online when I see a deal and make sure that it is legitimate. Sadly, this was an expensive lesson to learn. But I hope others do not fall into the same trap that I did.

This company is a scam do not order anything what you receive is a cheap imitation,they will offer you 10% back and no way to return awful cheap nasty dress.
BEWARE....SCAMMERS

Ordered some shoes and boots. When they arrived they were the wrong size. I asked to return and was told to keep them and pay postage for correct size. I did so. Only boots turned up and still in the wrong size. Despite numerous complaints I have heard nothing back from them. This company is a scam.

Very poor quality, wanted to return and advised had to ship to China or given option of a 10% refund and keep dresses. Very misleading given company name and returns policy simply states an email address to get returns address, no mention of china and import taxes!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid

I made the mistake of ordering as I thought this was a UK based company. You can only return items to China and shipping fees are high.
Dress I ordered was cream and not white. I spent £41.95 and received an £8.95 refund which is the best I could get 😔

This is a scam. I lost £200. They are claiming they have a store in Manchester currently under another name. Do not order from them!
