My item didn't arrive, total waste of time. Trying to get a refund. I will update if any changes..

I was so disappointed that the two items I ordered were nothing like the classy, delightful images shown. How they get away with misleading people is beyond my understanding. I wouldn't insult a charity shop by donating their garments. I now know to always read trustworthy reviews before ordering anything.
Having read other reviews I am not even going to attempt to return my order and waste more money.

first of all this business has never seen london whatever you buy will be dross which arrive after three weeks from China, You need to make a formal complaint via there customer service email explaining that the item is of very poor quality they will then offer to take a return and demand that you pay the postage (this is against uk consumer law) contact your bank tell them about consumer law and ask for a charge back it will take a few weeks but eventually you will get your money back. we did

Beware!! The goods don't come from London, but China. I asked at the Post Office how much it would cost to return my items and for a fairly light parcel it was going to cost £29 as it has to go back to China and not to London. You are offered a partial refund to keep the items, (less than it would cost to return) which to date I can't sell! I am seriously out of pocket. Wish I'd read the reviews before - I saw nothing that said the goods weren't coming from London.

Harper London are the most appalling company to deal with. I purchased a dress from them which I wanted to return because it wasn’t suitable (it was very poor quality). I contacted customer services by email and several emails later between myself and the company they had offered me various percentage amounts off the cost of my item for me to keep it. I persisted and finally they sent me a returns form. I then found I had to return the parcel to China. I completed the form and sent it with my parcel and heard nothing. Chased them some more through emails and they then asked for a copy of my postage receipt which I sent them. Still no refund. I chased again and they said they could only refund my money if I provided a tracking number which I was unable to do because I had sent it using the Post Office who mucked up and never gave me a tracking number! Harper London are unable to trace my return without the tracking number even though I complete the returns form which had details of my account reference etc on. The whole process of trying to return an item and obtain a refund has taken eight weeks and numerous emails.

If you value your sanity do NOT have anything to do with this company. The quality of their goods is very poor and their customer service is appalling.
Even if you return an item (at great cost to yourself) they won't acknowledge that it has arrived and therefore you won't receive your promised refund.
My returned item reached them several weeks ago and they still haven't confirmed that it has arrived. The courier company have confirmed it but have had nothing but silence from Harper.

Do not buy from this company - not as it seems, poor quality, difficult to get a refund.

Got my money back by raising a dispute through Monzo. I will have to write off the £22.40 postage for the return of an item that they never intended to receive (unless Harper is reading this and refund me as a gesture of goodwill).

As with all the reviews. Poor quality. Very disappointing. Item was too small. Months of emailing back and forth for my refund. Paid for registered delivery. Sent all the evidence and completed the form as per the process. Lots of deflections. Item stuck in customs for 4 months and now it looks like its being exported back to me??

Extremely difficult to get a refund

Update - parcel arrived back from China marked 'Unclaimed'. They seem to have 2 addresses - Hong Kong and Zhejiang China (NSDL limited, a furniture group?)

Do not buy from this company! The item I ordered was not suitable, nor the colour as advertised, and when I sought a refund I was offered an alternative, and then 10% off with the option to keep it, gift it or donate it. I should've been suspicious about the returns policy when you have to share your details before they'll give you an address to return to. I should've been more diligent in reading reviews before placing order.

This company sets out to make you think it's British. Harper - London, with a UK Email address. But it's Chinese. I ordered a dress which came in the wrong size. I wanted to return it. All you get is verbose nonsense in reply. They ask for photos, and detailed descriptions, and when I told them they had every bit of detail they needed, they offered me 40 % discount from my next purchase. Then when I said I wanted a refund, another lengthy email from them, telling me to keep the dress and they'd give me 10% refund. Otherwise, there was a choice of returning the item to their "central warehouse" in China - with all kinds of other explanations of how to send it, and all at my own cost. Avoid!!!

DON’T BUY from this company. They are fraudsters. Clothing is of really poor quality and not as seen in photographs.
I am currently in a dispute with them via my bank. Contact your bank and get them to help with a refund if you are offered insulting percentage refunds by this company.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes as I knew one at least wouldn't fit. Oh, how I regret it!
I ordered a british size 6 and 7. I got a size 38 and 39, which were both too small. The shoes were actually quite nice - but the wrong sizes - but I think I was deliberately sent the wrong size! When I looked on their website for returns I realised that the 'return address' was different to the advertised 'London' company motif they use. I didn't realise at first that it was in China.
I never got a straight answer each time I asked about returns (they have to let you know by email where to send things back!). They (Caryl or OJ - are they A.I or are they actually people, I asked myself?) kept avoiding my questions, but gave me a lot of apologetic guff that as I wasn't happy with my order, that they wanted to resolve it, wanted to uphold their high customer service, and that if I didn't return the items and accepted a percentage of the refund, I could keep the items I didn't want! They also said that by doing this I would literally be saving the planet by reducing the carbon footprint!!!! The % refunds went from 10% to 15% to 30% (which was the highest they said I could have).They would then proceed to offer me ever more discounts on future orders. It was extremely frustrating and annoying and I felt trapped, as I started to doubt that if I did return the items, that they would get to China and I would then be out of pocket by another £30 with postage. It felt like they were playing 'mind games' and I didn't trust them. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing trying to get a straight answer, they eventually gave me an address in China. I was so frazzled by it all that I felt compelled to accept the 30% refund - for peace of mind. I did get it within a few days. Their website says '30 day money back guarantee', but their processes are so tortuous that you would be mad to shop there!

AVOID at all costs - Harper’s London is very misleading in every aspect. The clothes advertised look high quality but when they arrive you’ll face poor quality materials and badly made. If you want a refund you’ll have to return it to China at your own expense. I wanted a refund but finally settled for a 30 per cent reduction just to escape this dreadful company. AVOID - repeat AVOID.

Be careful of this company - the quality of clothing is poor and returns are at the buyer's expense. That wouldn't be a problem but the items have to be returned to China. My items have been stalled in Chinese customs for about 8 weeks so my promised refund has not materialised.
The name "Harper London" suggested to me that returns would in the UK but returns apparently have to go to their "central distribution" to minimise the environmental impact ........

I paid for a dress from Harper Manchester and they have taken the money but I have not received my dress.

Haven’t received order or update about when it will be delivered. The store in Manchester does not exist. I sent a couple of emails which didn’t get a response and just sent a further one and they are bouncing back now.

I find it difficult to give one star!! I have had the same experience as other people. Ordered a dress, it was too small, asked for a refund and was told I had to pay for it to go to Asia! No way am I doing that!
I am so annoyed with myself for falling for this especially when I am so careful. I’ve had numerous emails offering various amounts of discount but I keep pushing for a full refund. My advice is do not buy from Harper London!!

I’m in the same situation offering 5% 10% now 15% of what I paid. They won’t give me the return address (Asia) despite being called Harper London. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Poor quality & I should have researched before purchase.

Do NOT BUY a anything from This company!!!! Wish I had read the really reviews before hand. Very poor quality products and finding it very difficult and frustrating to get details about returns and my refund.

I ordered a dress which arrived yesterday. The quality is extremely poor therefore I emailed directly for details of returning and a refund. To date I’ve had 3 emails not disclosing any return address. I’ve been offered 10% off any future orders and return dress ( even though I have no return address!) or keep the item and have 10% refund. The dress cost £34.95 not a cheap price. I feel they are hoping I will give up, I won’t!
I’ve now contacted PayPal

My advice is do not purchase anything from this company.
