Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.

Calm and peaceful
The crematorium building is beautifully set with it's llarge windows overlooking an area where there were squirrels an birds in abundance giving a very calming atmosphere.
The picture we chose was displayed in two places making it visible to island the music was played at a suitable volume whenever it was expected. All in all a peaceful place to be on such a sad occasion.

It was the perfect service in a perfect setting
It was the perfect service in a perfect setting. Everything went according to plan and without hitch. There were so many people attending the service that many were standing. The music was the versions I requested, and faded out when necessary. I cannot fault The Oaks.

The whole service went very well
The whole service went very well. All the video’s were organised correctly as we had our mum playing the piano herself with pictures on video, as I felt that is what she would have wanted. Everyone me was ver y helpful and friendly in the phone when I was organising the service.

Not what you expect when dealing with the worst time of your life
Although the site for my husband's funeral was nice enough the marketing literature sent within a week of the funeral for me to buy an entry in the book of remembrance or purchase a memorial orb which was followed by an email a week later requesting a review is disdainful and disrespectful.

Wonderful peaceful location
Wonderful peaceful location, discrete service. Beautiful natural surroundings allowing gentle tranquility at such a sad and difficult time for our family. Dad was gently sent on his journey as close to nature as is possible away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday. Gave us the chance me to remember him with dignity and love.

THE PERFECT ENDING
The staff could not have been any more helpful and compassionate. The inside of the chapel is lovely but the windows looking out to the beautiful surroundings give you a sense of peace during the service. The perfect ending to my husbands final journey.
