Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.

Glad to have chosen The Oaks
The staff were kind and helpful and the setting is beautiful and peaceful being surrounded by trees and open spaces at a distance from housing though new homes are being built nearby. We are glad we chose the Oaks.

Lovely peaceful place
The whole layout, from the ease of parking, to the lovely building. Now the helpful staff sorting the memorial for my husband. The only thing that spoilt it was the usher. He rushed us out of the chapel before the final music was finished even though we were the last service. I've since found out he was from the CO-OP . Maybe it would be better to use one of your staff for this job as they clearly don't care. He was obviously in a rush to get home. Other than that, everyone at The Oaks have been lovely.

Crematorium nicely presented staff always helpful not
Only for my Mothers funeral but with help making an entry in the memorial book.Excellent communication between the crematorium and undertakers making the service run smoothly

Everything was just right
Everything was just right. It was so light , the music was played perfectly when my mum was brought in, the photos was played to the music changing in time . It was such a beautiful view looking out the large window with a calming view and a sense of peace. A perfect place for a beautiful soul to have a beautiful send off.

The staff were kind, supportive and caring. The actual room for the service was clean and bright, the recorded service was well presented. Didn't leave any flowers as others were out in the open and had faded quickly. Would have liked a more welcoming place for relatives and friends to meet to celebrate the life of our loved one.

Efficient without being pushy
Efficient without being pushy, thoughtful and sympathetic but very understanding. Gave good advice and very helpful I was told many times by those attending that it was one of the nicest funerals they had ever attended, in fact several said they even enjoyed it.

A truly calming & beautiful location
The Oaks provided the most wonderful location for my husband’s cremation service. The staff were considerate & respectful, coping brilliantly with the numbers that attended (well over 200) The venue & grounds are well designed & I particularly appreciate the fact that the coffin sits to one side, with the view of the trees ahead of you. This made so much difference to me. Thank you for allowing me to say goodbye to him with such dignity & love.
