Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.

Lovely setting
All the people I met were friendly and helpful.Setting is lovely.Somehow about 300 people were accommodated though I think maybe a few more chairs could be available and you do need to be sure that website and local undertakers have correct information

whole sevice was great

A heartfelt goodbye to a lovely lady

The perfect setting for a celebration of life.
It was a beautiful setting in which to celebrate Richard’s life. We loved the layout which made everyone feel part of the service.
Practically, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. Everything was managed discreetly and efficiently and at no point did we feel rushed or anxious.

Ideal location
The setting is superb within the woodlands, which are visible through the large windows behind the speaker.The auditorium was spacious and well equipped. We wanted a celebration of life and found the Oaks catered for our particular ceremony.
It made a sad occasion a lot easier due to the surroundings being so quiet and peaceful.

The Oaks is a beautiful setting
The Oaks is a beautiful setting. My mother's funeral was conducted with a tranquil, expansive backdrop of trees and birds. I wish she could have seen it! The video stream worked perfectly and there was no feeling of being rushed, or getting in the way of the previous or following funeral. When I went to collect mum's ashes, the staff were warm and welcoming. I really don't think they could have done anything better.
