Communication was POOR
Communication was very, very poor.
Sometimes they answered emails - sometimes they didn’t.
They certainly didn’t answer the phone when I rang them up so I had to resort to emails knowing that as I was typing the email that they probably weren’t going to respond - unless I sent a chase up reminder email. This is not good professional business practice.
The house sold but I was given conflicting information by different members of staff about what was to happen next regarding the 56 day process of payment and completion.
They did not give me the correct information because a month later their email said that 56 days was going to start now when the contracts were raised. This was not what they told me when the house sold a month ago.
The house sold on one day and then I received an email telling me so. Then two days later, I was told the house had sold again. Then the next day this was confirmed about five days after it had originally been sold. So I didn’t know what was going on at all.
Having to send chase up emails which were ignored or vaguely answered is really bad. But my least favourite is to send three questions and then they only answer one. V Poor.
Absolutely terrible and shocking Customer Service from start to finish, and it hasn’t even finished yet

First time selling through modern auction and the documentation can be overwhelming. Ruth Phillips explained the process in laymen’s terms and was incredibly helpful when I needed advice and assistance. I received a comprehensive and professional service. Communicated with Iqbal right from the beginning, very easy and a gentleman to talk to. Very attentive, listened to our concerns and communicated that straight away to seller. Did not hesitate to write email to our legal team either, went beyond and above to make our experience as less anxious as possible. A gem of a person that is a asset to the team. Treated us like family and made the communication so comfortable that I could ask any questions and the response with a phone call was very quick. I felt he is very compassionate in what he does and he is there as mediator and a great communicator between vendor , buyer and even the legal team. Nothing was too much for him. I am sure I am not the first person to compliment on his hard work. Thank you Iqbal, you know you are nice man.
