Efficient and caring
Enjoyed working with the Iamsold team. Particularly Daniel Probyn and Jay Connor-Burton who are always on hand to offer advice and very knowledgeable. I will also praise Bryony Wardally who works in the completions department and she is great at giving updates and following through with all the various parties involved.

A fantastic experience with I Am Sold…
A fantastic experience with I Am Sold from start to finish.
I particularly want to recognise Vithuran (Vithu) and Katie, who were both absolutely superb throughout the process.
Vithu looked after the auction and sale side of things and was excellent at engaging with prospective buyers, managing the interest in the property and keeping me informed throughout. He was proactive, approachable and very easy to deal with, and ultimately played a key part in helping me get the deal agreed. I really appreciated having him on my side during what can otherwise be quite a stressful process.
Once the property was sold, Katie took over the post-sale process and was equally fantastic. She kept in regular contact with me, the buyer and the solicitors, followed things up when necessary and made sure everything continued moving towards completion. Having someone actively keeping an eye on the transaction and chasing things along made a huge difference.
Between them, Vithu and Katie provided a genuinely first-class service from the initial auction process right through to completion. Both were professional, responsive, friendly and clearly cared about getting the transaction over the line.
A very well-deserved five stars from me, and a huge thank you to both of you!

4 stars because.....
The individuals I dealt with were lovely, capable and understanding, given my melt downs over the 9 months. I could actually speak to them and they called me with updates. My 4 stars not 5 is because it was a modern auction situation with sale in December 2025 that only completed end of September 2026. They were the only link with the buyer who was happy to let his solicitor behave unprofessionally and inefficiently throughout. I asked Iamsold to escalate to senior partners in the Buyer's law firm. It appears this never happened. My solicitor was brilliant and kept Iamsold copied in to all correspondence. I believe more could have been done to move this forward faster.

I am leaving this review to warn other buyers about the aggressive, predatory practices used by iamsold, specifically regarding my experience with 61 Birkby Lodge Road, Huddersfield. If you are a buyer, be incredibly careful before entering your details into their system.I registered to bid with a maximum budget of £165,000.00. Despite there being no other active bidders or competitive pressure, my max budget was immediately entered into the system as the opening bid. On 15th September, iamsold sent me an official email explicitly stating: "You were the highest bidder, but unfortunately your bid did not meet the Seller's Reserve Price." I later discovered the seller's true reserve price was £178,000.00.Because the auction completely failed under the hammer, no binding contract was formed, and they had zero legal right to any fees. Knowing this, their sales team immediately tried to switch the rules on me. They sent me NEW private treaty documents to sign outside of the auction system, trying to trick me into agreeing to the £165,000.00 purchase price while still attaching an extortionate £7,425.00 "Reservation Fee" and a £349.00 "Buyer Information Pack"—totalling an extra £7,774.00 in upfront fees.When I exercised my legal right not to sign these new private treaty documents, the intimidation tactics started. I received aggressive emails from Jess Hooper (Auction Sales Manager) claiming that because I ticked boxes to register for the auction, they had "unconditional authority" to sign the contract on my behalf. Jess Hooper then threatened me with a 5:00 PM deadline, explicitly stating they would refer me to a debt recovery team for a fee on a contract I had never signed and was under no obligation to proceed with.I stood my ground and issued a formal legal response citing Trading Standards and The Property Ombudsman, which forced them to back down and close the file. To prove how artificial their pricing and bidding environment is, the moment I walked away, they immediately relisted the property on portals for £150,000.00—£15,000 less than what they tried to bully me into paying.This company relies on panicking buyers into signing new agreements under the illegal threat of debt collectors. Do not let Jess Hooper or the iamsold team intimidate you. Keep a paper trail and know your rights.

The house went to auction twice the first one failed due to the buyer not realising his commitment, the second auction the buyer chalked for a reduction in price and instructed 2 solicitors.
The house went to auction twice.. I don’t think that the people whom dealt with the auction or sale were on top of the outcome..
