📌 My Experience with Ikas – Unfortunately Not Positive

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I can’t say good things about Ikas.

My first month with the Scale Plus+ membership started well, thanks to a dedicated account manager assigned to me. However, shortly after, that person left the company, and the comfort of having one-on-one support disappeared.

Throughout the first year, we constantly faced technical issues on the Meta side.
Google PageSpeed scores were far behind Shopify’s.
Website speed, panel performance, and integrations were frequently problematic.

Customer support was responsive, especially in the evenings, which was an advantage for me. However, this support was not enough to compensate for the fundamental infrastructure problems.

We somehow managed to get through the first year, though only partially.

Every time I saw Ikas ads, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed. It was clear that as their customer base grew, the system struggled more and more. The problems were predictable.

When entering the second year, I was seriously considering switching to Shopify.
At that point, I was offered a 24,000 TL free shipping credit, which convinced me to continue.

However, after purchasing, I learned that this credit would be added monthly as only 2,000 TL. This was a major disappointment.

Today (February 21, 2026), I experienced another shock.

I found out that the in-app customer support feature in the Ikas mobile app had been disabled. As someone who paid for a package that included this feature, this was unacceptable.

When I contacted support, I was told that this was stated in the contract.
Honestly, this felt like a convenient excuse.

As of now:

Technical issues on the Meta side still continue

The admin panel and website are often slow

The mobile app does not function properly

Google PageSpeed scores are very low compared to competitors

The promised new theme has been delayed for months

None of this is normal.

Unfortunately, I believe Ikas has been losing momentum recently.

As someone from İzmir, I wish Mustafa Namoğlu success.
However, the current direction does not reflect a user-focused, sustainable platform.

No reply from Support Email for Months…

No reply from Support Email for Months - I have emailed and tried the contact form, but have not received any reply from support. I would like to move my business onto the Ikas platform, but they currently host a store selling my digital product illegally. Support ignores my emails to protect this store. How can I trust a company without principles?

Edit (29 July 2025) - As requested in your reply, I sent another email to support in December. 7 months later and still no reply...

Lässt keine Wünsche offen...

Wir haben mit unserem Onlineshop vor ein paar Monaten zu Ikas gewechselt. Nach einer Odysee an verschiedenen Shopsystemen haben wir das gefunden, nach dem wir gesucht haben. Shop Erstellung für B2C und B2B auf 2 Storefornts mit einem Backend ... und das alles noch im bezahlbaren Bereich. Während der Einrichtung (und auch noch heute) stehen die Supportmitarbeiter mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Der Plugin Bereich ist noch relativ klein, dafür hat Ikas jedoch so viel an Bord was man bei andern Systemen Stück für Stück über Plugins dazu kaufen muss. Die Bedienung an sich ist sehr einfach. Die Templates lassen keine Wünsche übrig... API Anbindungen können realisiert werden... wir sind wunschlos Glücklich und freuen uns IKAS gefunden zu haben.

viel versprochen wenig gehalten

ich möchte mit etwas positiven beginnen - der support ist sehr bemüht und reagiert schnell auf fragen - alles andere ist aber wirklich schwierig.

nach einer interessenbekundung im chat auf der homepage von ikas wurde ich von einem mitarbeiter angerufen und mir wurden diverse rabatte auf verschiedene preismodelle und inhalte versprochen.
da ich schon mehrere Jahre Onlineshops betreibe konnte ich sehr gezielte Fragen zu den mir wichtigen Themen stellen und erhielt immer vielversprechende Antworten - der B2B bereich sei unfassbar leicht und vielfältig zu gestalten - es gäbe eine große anzahl an unterschiedlichen Themes die man äußerst flexibel anpassen kann.
Mir wurde versprochen das zu dem Preismodell für das ich mich entscheiden müsste (wegen dem B2B bedarf) absolut keine weiteren Kosten hinzukämen. ich hinterfragte mehrfach ob apps von drittanbietern nötig sein um die Seite zu betreiben und das wurde ausdrücklich verneint - ALLES was ich BRAUCHE findet sich in DIESEM PREISMODELL es kommen KEINE weiteren Kosten auf mich zu.

von den versprochenen Preisnachlässen / Rabatten (50% auf das Preismodell für B2B und 50% auf das Marketingpaket für Newsletter) und den Versprechungen überzeugt habe ich dann eingewilligt und den Vertrag abgeschlossen.

Schon zu Beginn stellten sich die ersten Probleme ein - ich musste häufig den Support kontaktieren - zum beispiel waren Teile der Einrichtung auf Türkisch so dass ich immer wieder einen Übersetzer zur Hilfe nehmen musste um eine deutsche seite einzurichten...
man kann schriftgrößen in fliesstexten nicht ändern.
es gibt 2 Designs für den B2B bereich von dem eins völlig Buggy und unfunktionabel ist. DIe Deutschen Standarts was Cookies und nötige Impressums etc. betrifft müssen aufwendig eingepflegt werden (Impressum und AGB wären sonst nur im Checkout zu finden) und Cookies Consent dienste müssen über drittanbieter dazu gekauft werden. (trotz des versprechens dass man AUF KEINEN FALL Drittanbieter benötige)

Ich habe schon in den ersten Tagen nach meinem Versprochenen Rabattcode für das Marketingpakett gefragt und wurde immer wieder vertröstet letztendlich sagte man mir das sei ein Missverständnis gewesen und auch die versprochenen Designmöglichkeiten seien Missverständnisse gewesen...
Das waren mir dann doch zu viele Schwindeleien und ich habe die Kündigung eingereicht - die Leistungen, die ich gebucht habe wurden einfach nicht erbracht.
Leider hat man es geschafft mich länger als 14 Tage hinzuhalten - ich habe einen Paypal fall eröffnet und hoffe nun auf eine Schnelle rückabwicklung

I am delighted with IKAS

I am delighted with IKAS. It is a very good all-in-one platform. I use it for a personal SEO project and Google likes the speed of the website :) The support is also great. I can always talk to someone live and we do screen share sessions. Of course there are a few drawbacks where IKas can't keep up with Shopify, because there are tens of thousands of developers who develop for Shopify, but what Ikas offers is always good and well thought out. New features are always being added, such as email and sms marketing automation. The learning curve is flat, which is also fun. For my next project I would prefer Ikas shopify again

Ikas ist wirklich super schnell

Ikas ist wirklich super schnell, topp Qualität für wenig Geld. Man hat direkt einen Ansprechpartner der direkt zur Hilfe kommt bei Fragen. Bin sehr zufrieden. Kann diese Plattform nur weiterempfehlen.
