Wish I had read trustpilot reviews before placing order.

No response from simple enquiry in respect to whether plants have been despatched.

No need to risk purchasing from this seller when there are numerous reliable, reputable sellers including aquariumgardens.co.uk, aquaessentials.co.uk, proshrimp.co.uk etc etc

Shockingly poor service, 11 days for a paid delivery service, plants missing, no comms from them to explain. Had to chase them multiple times and still no resolution. Spoke with Mark via email and quite frankly he couodnt give a toss. Refund pending for plants instock on website.... What a shambles... Is this business run by chimps or what

Unreliable service from this company on which I had first to chase for the order.
And when the order finally was dispatched, the cherry on the top was that one of the plants was useless as it was decaying in the pot on arrival.
Stir away and use other companies with less than 30 years of experience.

No interest whatsoever from their side. Waiting time was too big for myself (I did not receive the plants for more than a month), they did not get in touch to explain why the order is greatly delayed and overall greatly lacked in communication. Cancellation of the order and receiving the refund were the biggest pain. I never want to see or hear something from these guys again.

Placed an order weeks ago. Paid in full but nothing ever arrived . I was told they had no stock left and they would sort it out asap...still no plants ,no refund and no explanation . Buy your plants from elsewhere. SCAM!

Took money, no product sent, no response to emails or Calls. Opened PayPal claim. Waiting for resolution.

Contacted after raised with PayPal, items delivered quickly after email contact. Issues with stock availability apparently cause. Apology for lack of contact. Plants are excellent Although can't recommend based on initial service, plants are good and eventual delivery good. I suggest use with care, hopefully service will now improve.

So very sad that a company I had used years ago has gone downhill so much. Made an order last week, paid 7.99 for next day DPD ,before the cut off time . Arrived the next day but by Post Special Delivery. OK I thought ,fair enough…so on Friday I ordered again , paid 7.99 for next day delivery( was prepared for Mon del) ….Monday I received a phone call to tell me plants that were in stock when I ordered were now not available ,would I accept substitutes? Yes I said OK. Expecting delivery Tuesday.
Wednesday is here , plants arrive by post,not even special delivery ,but small parcel.
Maybe Im fussy? But when I pay 7.99 for next day thats what I expect. When plants are advertised as in stock when I order ,I expect to receive them. Not subs.
On the plus side the plants were in good condition but thats more up to Tropica etc than Java .
I honestly cant recommend this company any more ,thirty years ago and more no problem. What has happened?

Got my order on, 2 days later they asked me by mail that 2 of the plants they didn’t have in stock and if I would like some other plants instead, my answer was to reimburse of the plants they didn’t have and to send the rest of the order, 4 days later I asked them when the order will be sent and asked me again about substitutes , and then nothing, no communication from their side, I open a case with PayPal and hopefully will get my money, I’m ordering usually from lots of different companies with no problem whatsoever, it’s the worst company I ever used, DO NOT USE THAT COMPANY especially reading about all these bad experiences people had on here

Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before purchasing.
Same experience as the other negative reviews, java plants don't communicate, they don't want to tell you that you'll be sat waiting for best part of a month before only recieving half an order and having to ask for the missing items to be refunded.
Worst service I've experienced for a long time.
An amateur set up .... Avoid!!

Waited over a month with no response to emails, opened up a case with PayPal then received part of my order 7 days later. Still waiting for a refund on the plants I didn’t receive.
What did arrive was ok but had been tossed about in the post. Avoid!

I had the same issues as others here. No reply to emails. No refund yet. Its been a month since ordering. I cancelled 2 weeks in. I ordered on aqua essentials, came 2 days later!

Over two weeks still have not received plants ,so many others have had the same problem,no reply to my email. There are some very dubious reviews.

Disappointed as I went with Java Plants due to the plants I wanted not being in stock with my regular supplier. In the end it took nearly two weeks for my plants to arrive and one of the species was missing even though it showed as being in stock on the web site. Some of the plants were not in the best condition and have failed to establish despite my high tech set up. Lack of communication as to delivery dates and no mention of refund for missing plants on the invoice until I called to chase it. I would rather wait for my previous supplier, Aqua Essentials, to have what I require in stock as their delivery schedules allow you to plan a planting session rather than having them turn up at a time which is inconvenient.

Ordered plants on 10.01.2022 with a 3 to 5 day dispatch period and its the 21.01.22 and still I have not received them. Communication has been poor. No where on their website does it express they are experiencing delay's. When speaking to employees on the phone they advise me they will be dispatched within the next day or so and yet still this has not happened. No apologies or compensation has been offered for the delay. I won't order with them again.

Excellent healthy Java Fern received yesterday. I like the fact they did not post in Christmas Pist as more likely to get lost. It was well packed and arrived next day from when I was emailed Mark is brilliant and hapoy to provide help and advice.

Ordered plants on 5th October. Two weeks later emailed them as hadn’t received the plants. Java emailed back with tracking number, week later still not received. They promised to send again but these weren’t received either. A month later no plants and promise of refund not happened. Now going through PayPal to get money back, they did reply to my emails but very terse in their responses and no apology either. Would not recommend or use again. Update: Java Plants said they couldn’t refund my money because I had opened a dispute with PayPal. This is an outright lie! I rang PayPal today (17th November) and they informed me that a refund was very simple and straight forward. If I had closed the dispute like they asked, I would have had no recourse to raise it again with PayPal and I might have not gotten my refund. Be warned!!!!!!

Bought a collection of plants (about 7 or so). Arrived packaged well, I was happy with the plants I did receive. Unfortunately a plant was missing, so I contacted the shop via email. They said they’d refund me and didn’t. I then emailed again to be ignored, so I had to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back. I’ve heard of 3 other people that this has also happened to.

Very unreliable - I would never order from here again.

I ordered plenty of plants from here 2 weeks ago and all of them arrived healthy. They are all thriving now in my tank. One of the plants didn’t arrive because it was out of stock however they sent them out to me yesterday now that they’re back in stock. Again all the plants arrived healthy and well packaged. Great service and would definitely purchase again from here!

out of all the companies i've used over the years, the mother plants i bought from here have been the healthiest most productive plants i've ever bought. i would 100% recommend them. after getting some really bad plants from the local shops, ebay and amazon; i bought plants from here about a year ago and they all rooted in and have grown really well.
