My Rib Eye arrived on time and was of high quality plus it was still cold to touch, the gel packs work great.

The delivery was made at 10pm at night to the wrong address. We were in bed, so we missed the notification and would not have been able to find the parcel anyway. Our neighbour kindly dropped the parcel round late morning, after it had been in the sun. We had no choice but to throw the whole lot away. I then tried to contact support. The contact form did not work - I must have (correctly) filled out the CAPTCHA 20 times. Very frustrating. So I dug up some actual email adresses from the internet and emailed them. Two days later, still no reply. I have wasted £80 and will now buy locally instead. Do not use this company - their delivery and customer support services simply do not work.

Update / reply to MeatSupermarket's reply: I DID email you on that address directly after giving up on the broken contact form (as I said above).

At the time of writing the above, I had waited two days with no reply. I note I did finally get a reply, but only after I posted this review - noteably, not after sending an email to the above address.

Ongoing / followup: MeatSupermarket have now offered to reimburse. Let's see how that goes.

The gaucho whole ribeye we ordered was excellent. Really well marbled and an very tender. Amazing value, great service and I will defiantly be using them again

Not 4 me sorry quality of meat just sub par, lots of quantity over quality.....just not great ....Im fed up with a race to the bottom....need to eat less and just get quality

Ordered for Tuesday. Not tried yet all arrived on time just disappointed that everything had defrosted. Ive still put in the freezer so hope it will be ok!🙃

Arrived as expected. still ice blocks in box still nice and cold. the box was in exelent condition not a mark on it in perfect condition,

Was a loyal customer. Not bothering anymore. Cheap chicken is Halal so not ethical. Prices are going up every month. Hoggit doubled in price. Beef not even worth looking at, need a remortgage. Flavoured bbq packs were tasteless. Now delivery prices gone up. No longer worth it. Lidl it is.
Used to buy once a month then cut down to once every two months. Not worth it any more.

Great chicken at a great price.
Always a good variety. Never had a problem with any of the food I have bought.

Meatsupermarket. I have had several excellent experiences with this company. Sitting up in bed in Australia I have been able to order meat from this company to be sent to my daughter living in the UK. She was particularly excited by the quality of the steak she received for her birthday in April and both I and her children appreciated the number of other meat items that were on special at the time and suitable to include for all the family to share.eg packs of chicken wings or chicken drumsticks, hamburgers, and sausages. The delivery has always gone smoothly. I can choose the date of delivery and they are notified when the delivery is due to be made, or has been made. Excellent quality are the reports I get back from the recipients

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding Order #70156392, which had a total value of £99.27.

The order was placed on Saturday and the meat did not arrive until almost a week later. On opening the delivery, I discovered that every one of the sirloin steak products in the order had spoiled and was completely unfit for human consumption.

The affected products were:

The Caveman Sirloin Steak 16oz – £17.29
Sirloin Steak 2 x 6oz x 3 – £29.25
Sirloin Steak 2 x 6oz x 1 – £9.74
The total value of the affected sirloin steaks is £56.28.

The meat was visibly green and had an extremely strong, rancid odour, comparable to the smell of a corpse. It was clearly unsafe and completely unacceptable to receive meat in this condition. I had no choice but to dispose of it rather than risk anyone consuming it.

I have attached/provided photographs of the affected meat and my order confirmation as evidence.

I am therefore requesting an immediate refund of £56.28 for the spoiled sirloin steaks. Given that the affected products make up more than half the value of my order, I would also ask you to consider a full refund of the £99.27 order in view of the seriousness of the issue and the condition in which the food was delivered.

I would also like an explanation as to how meat in this condition was dispatched and delivered to a customer, particularly given the unusually long period between placing the order and receiving it.

This is not a matter of simply being dissatisfied with the quality of the meat. The products were visibly spoiled, had an exceptionally foul smell and were not fit for consumption. I understand that I have legal rights as a consumer where goods are not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose.

Please confirm receipt of this formal complaint and advise me when the refund will be processed. I would appreciate a prompt response given the nature of this complaint.

The chicken breasts are massive as well as tender, the minced beef is brilliant as is the stewing steak.
