The so called health care professional was handed a repeat prescription with 2 well known anxiety medications listed for ongoing use.. the assessment report written by this health care professional afterwards stated that an absence of regular anxiety medication meant that the claimant doesn’t have anxiety and it is medically reasonable to expect the claimant has no difficulties with tasks x y and z.

What? Are you joking? Where did you pull that from?

Well we showed the gp that assessment report and she was disgusted and immediately wrote a letter correcting all the lies in the report. We compiled all our evidence and went straight to citizens advice and lodged an official complaint to ias and a mandatory reconsideration to dwp. No one with severe mental health issues should be put through this horrendous stressful procedure because a so called health care professional decided not to do her job correctly and fairly and instead chose to sit down at her desk after the assessment and make up a bunch of complete lies in order to save the dwp money. Absolutely disgraceful ! At least in Scotland we will soon be banning private contractors from conducting assessments for pip once social security Scotland takes over the benefit and process! I feel sorry for the rest of the UK that has to suffer the consequences of Tory austerity and the shambolic inhumane treatment of the most vulnerable in society. Shame on this company and shame on the health care professionals that chose an easy desk job with higher pay at the expense of the patient instead of putting there training to good use in our wonderful understaffed NHS. You lot shouldn’t have bothered entering the profession in the first place!

I have just put a mandatory reconsideration in to the DWP.My pip assessment by these spiteful people resulted in me getting no points in my assessment.I will only list a few fraudulant claims as i havent got the energy to write an essay .I have spent a good few hours today writing a complaint to these jokers.I was observed unfastening my coat.-um no i wasnt.i wasnt wearing a coat ! I was able to answer questions without being prompted by the assessor or my accompanying friend.-my friend said on at least 3 occasions she had to prompt me as i was unable to remember.then went on half lies,half truths,twisting truth for effect.It really annoys me that to be able to use the internet means you are in perfect health.Its just something to do while im holed up in the house in too much pain to move.A medical condition that has huge impact on my life and was discussed at the assessment didnt even get a mention despite it preventing me from driving.i havent driven since December but this amazing psychic said i could drive and plan a journey.Even when i was driving i was unable to drive without somebody with me but i can plan journeys! Hey you learn something new everyday! My biggest complaint is that i had to do the exercises at the end of the assessment.This was my assessors biggest Enid Blyton moment.I could perform the movements with ease.i could get on the bed and lift my legs.The simple truth as my friend can testify is that the exercises caused extreme pain making me shake and sweat.i could hardly do them and had to stop each one without doing it properly.I struggled on the bed and tried to use my jeans to lift my leg as i was unable.i was told i was "cheating" As these were movements that i didnt do i remarked that i was shocked how little i could do the exercises and the smug woman answered,and i quote."yes that was a real eye opener for you: then she proceeded to tap on her computer that apart from a little shoulder pain i could do everything.she neglected to mention that after crouching i could hardly get up,Those exercises caused me two days of even worse pain as all my inflamed muscles had been aggravated.I have put in a complaint,sent by recorded delivery signed for so it cant get conveniently lost.I dont expect any result from doing this but i was so upset at her blatant attempt to hijack any chance i had of receiving pip which according to their descriptions i am entitled to.They are liars,they have no empathy and are commiting fraud on a daily basis. I have written to my MP who i hope will represent me.He has stepped in on my behalf with tax credits in the past,when i was left without money for weeks on end.The only reason they have one star is because i couldnt get the page to load without one.If there was a minus 50 score that is what i would rate them.I feel that she has made me look like a fraud.I have mental health problems but because i have had it so long im good at wearing a mask.she didnt know prior to the meeting i had not slept for a week and had been really ill and breathless due to the fear of going to to be assessed.Apparently because i was aware of what was going on and was not confused in the surroundings i was mentally 100 % .well what do you know? These people arent trained to be able to assess a person so they just make it up.so angry and distraught at the moment.its set me right back

Here's my experience. Text taken from letter sent to mp.

Where do I start?

Had my pip home exam today (recorded or I would be out on a limb here), and the so called "HCP" left me a wreck! Throughout the interrogation, she was moving on to next question, without letting me answer the question in point. When I persevered with my answers, she said time constraints meant I was slowing down her pace, I persevered anyway. I'm not interested in her tick box jury, or her watch, so I got my answers across.

She was not too pleased she did not have control over me, like I should be terrified of her and roll over for her. No way, I'm not here to be trod on by a soulless, selfish specimen of a thing. This contract killer will not deny me my dignity!

Then, during physical exam, she asked to put her hand on my thigh, never touched my thigh, went to my knee and leaned on it! I hit the roof, this so called orthopedic person was leaning on my knee knowing I suffer from neuropathy. Instant pain caused by an "HCP". I really can't get my head round that, what was her (ulterior?) motive saying she was going for my thigh, then does such an unprofessional act of doing what she done? What was her motive?? I asked why she put me in pain. She tried to apologise, I shouted it should never have happened.

From then on she had me wound up, triggering me into a wreck, all from a cheesy smiled killer. She caused all this deliberately? Targets etc? Sadist? I blew my top, she had me shouting and swearing. I asked her if she was done, she said "I've got enough". I shouted at her to get out, I was taking no more of her unprofessionalism. South American narco gangs would be proud to have her onboard. Needleess to say, I question her claim of being an orthopedic person.

I have nothing but venom for these b******s, the decent ones are the those who can't be continually coerced into killing the ill, and LEAVE. The creme dela creme are those who become whistleblowers, it's all there to see folks, Killers R Us. Submitting false reports to meet quotas. Example; An elderly gentleman, registered blind and in a motorised wheelchair, and chaperoned. Report said he had no problem walking 20mtrs and finding his way about! There are many thousands of similar heartbreaking cases, but Killers R Us and their henchpeople don't give a flying fk about the patient. They are only interested in the riches for shareholders, and the foreign holidays, cruises they accumulate in their killing spree.

Well, I'm not registered blind, or in a motorised wheelchair. So my report could say something like I was observed thinking for myself...pas de points.

As you will understand, I wish only the most severe Karma visitation on ALL these self centred cash grabbers. The longest pain for you all, the better. What's good for the goose...

Here's a thought. How many of these sleazebags admit to working for Benefit Denial Factories when asked? Hmmm.

For the record. Any Karma activity that hopefully takes place on the leeches, will have no input from myself, relations, friends, aquaintances, casual or otherwise. I make no threats here whatsoever, just a burning desire to see plenty Karma.

It is my understand that my constituent would like to make a formal complaint in regards tothe Health Care Professional who undertook the assessment on the DWP’s behalf. Myconstituent was concerned about the attitude the health care professional had towards himwhilst undertaking the assessment. My constituent has also outlined an incident which took place where the HCP asked if shecould touch his thigh which he agreed to. As I understand it she went onto touch his kneewhich caused him sever pain and resulted on my constituent being more distressed due to thepain he was then in. I would be grateful if you could look into these matters and would welcome your commentson this matter.

Losing the will to fight. These creatures are sapping the life out of me. If it were not for my brilliant mp, I would never have been granted a home interrogation. Many thousands of us are under attack from this government inspired killing machine and their smiley faced contract killers.

apparently after about half an hour of ''observation'' all my disabilities as defined by the 2010 equality disability act and the various doctors and other specialists I see and have seen , which doesn't include ''nurses'' none of the affect me in any way whatsoever , so I was cured by the observation of a ''nurse'' and an unknown 3rd party
who apparently saw me walk 100 meters ''approximately'' to the assessment centre , and when I ask who was that 3rd party who saw me do that , no one knows ,yet it was added to the ''nurse's'' report and used to deny me what I'm legally and lawfully entitled to
now some 3 years and some months , I get a letter offering me £100 , in their own words mistakes that were made , they make millions if not billions and they offer me that , I could go on but i'll end it with

they're in for a surprise , i'm not going to take this lying down enough is enough

As per others assessor lied and ignored evidence presented at my Sons assessment. If she is registered with any medical profession, in relation to autism and mental health, then she should be struck off as I’m sure she must be going against any code of conduct. He has been awarded a higher rate however at mandatory reconsideration which is still sinister as the new decision is based on exactly the same evidence he was turned down on! I have become aware of others receiving their award at assessment that there is no discernible difference between my son’s difficulty and theirs (friends of son), the only difference I can see is that the parents who attended seem to be of a more let’s say ‘middle class’ persuasion and in high earning brackets, whereas more vulnerable friends have had theirs turned down? I am going to ask a disabled charity to investigate the demographic of those being awarded at assessment and those not, in relation to income, family circumstances and linked claims to other benefits e.g Carer’s Allowance via an FOI request. I absolutely believe there will be an underlying and alarming theme to this.

Had my assessment this morning 29/01/19 in Salford and I was full of doubts when I attended because I'd read reviews... all I can say is make your own mind up my experience was excellent great staff and my assessor was a lovely lady who listened I know the outcome is not down to get but never the less she was great thank you a of you

These people have absolutely NO IDEA about Mental Health. Assuming there's nothing wrong and lying just to save the government money. The government should be ashamed of themselves.

Staff at Scunthrope are liars rang me an hour before my appointment to cancel and rebook for 3 weeks time was assured my claim wouldn't be delayed and DWP would prioritise me turns out they don't added 6 weeks at least to my claim time. Disgusting particular staff member was Lee if you speak to him take what he says with a pinch of salt as he obviously has no idea of guidelines.

Spinal injury in 1984, extensive surgery. Diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis in 2008, osteo arthritis last July, aortic heart defect in 2014. I was on DLA high rate mobility until a lying occupational therapist (health professional!!!!!) omitted much of what I said and told blatant lies about other matters. The result being cut to standard rate mobility. Just received her report, beyond parody (everyone should ask for that without fail). Will now prepare the case for mandatory reconsideration, if that fails first tier tribunal. At least at the tribunal none of the lying scum from ATOS or DWP are there

Should be zero. these people are liars and have absolutely no clue about any disabilities or how they affect people. I was seen by a mental health nurse who had only experience of mental health issues. She spoke to me like i was something on the bottom of her shoe and ask very very strange questions. The whole report was full of lies.

Absolutely horrific! One star is too good for them.

After the suicide scandal that followed ATOS's 'work capability assessment' failures several years ago, the company announced it wouldn't be renewing its contract with the UK government to administer pseudo-medical assessments of people claiming disability and other welfare benefits. Apparently, amidst the weekly suicides of sick and disabled people declared 'fit for work' by ATOS, there were also those desperate enough to send ATOS death threats: the reason ATOS gave at the time for not renewing its contracts. But they didn't stay away long. They're back. Rebranded as Independent Assessment Services.

Suicides and death threats are expressions of the life or death pressures that characterise an existence for those who rely on the meagre hand-outs that the UK government considers 'supportive' for those lucky enough to be awarded money. When you're faced with homelessness, financial crisis or simply an abyss of zero income, it's very easy to lose one's composure. Particularly when such conditions are created by those denying the most basic state support.

For those who have to travail the obstacles put in front of them by the DWP's application system, many of the most vulnerable citizens continue to take their lives following their ATOS assessments after being declared 'fit for work'. Stories of patients having heart attacks during the assessment, being taken to hospital and discovering that they were declared 'fit for work' are not uncommon.

Now renamed Independent Assessment Services - a new name and cover for ATOS - the same game continues by stealth. The benefits application is designed to frustrate, discourage, demotivate and exhaust claimants. From the lengthy applications to disqualifications for petty reasons, it is obvious that the UK welfare system simply does not want to award the sick, poor and disabled money for subsistence if it can get out of its obligations and the shallow pretense of the State 'safety net'. That safety net now has huge holes in it. It also becomes obvious that the average DWP and ATOS employee simply does not care about the citizens its departments were supposedly established to support.

Rigged against infirm people as part of the UK government's cynical campaign to demonise benefits claimants as 'benefits cheats', the benefits system is now redesigned to optimise the denial of welfare awards, saving money for other things, such as bailing out failed banks, renewing Trident missiles, funding enquiries into Blair's war crimes, themselves rigged to bring the country no closer to justice etc.

Rebranded as Independent Assessment Services, ATOS didn't go away. It's a case of different clothing, same wolves....

ATOS employees - doctors, nurses and other para-medical staff - are recruited in from places like the NHS where they earn less money. For six quid an hour more you can stop caring for the sick and go put a suit on and assess the sick to help get them off benefits. Ring the application line and you will be met by robotic, nameless employees of ATOS reading disclaimers and questions with a complete absence of empathy. One employee I spoke to on the phone was actually eating something whilst I was questioned. Writing to them is no better, with anonymised, unsigned replies cut and pasted out of a policy manual, giving no clarity or real elaboration on why your claim was declined.

Incentivised to encourage their sell-out employees to give sick and disabled people low scores on their assessment answers, the DWP's Independent Assessment Services are not set up to deliver a caring response to the country's citizens. They exist to thwart the efforts of so many sick and disabled people, who have their applications for crucial welfare payments disqualified, denied or stopped.

ATOS is merely the pitbull set on the vulnerable public by the UK Government's Department for Work and Pensions. It's a shamelessly rigged game and a national scandal.

But for those who are well, in work, fit and enjoying the products of their labours, pray that you don't lose your health or ability to work and have to rely on the UK government for survival.
