Aparently they knocked on the door... We have been sitting at the door for 2 hours including , 30 mins before the appointed slot... Aparently there was no answer at the door... Yet we have been sitting by the door, the living room faces the front door and we can see everybody who walks towards the house and front door ... NOBODY came up those stairs... And NOBODY knocked on the door... He left a voice message at the same time he aparently was standing at the door... I don't know how this person can sleep at night... Now under more stress and that's on its ON YOU. Do you think these disabled people want to be disabled... They go through pain with their health, humiliation and dibilitating issues, daily yet have to put up with this rubbish from you people.. Shame on you! I really hope that this doesnt need to be taken further... We all know what happened to pinnocio when he told a lie...

Humiliation,bullying, deceit, lying, intimidation. Treated as liers and criminals, caused extreme stress on top of the existing stress.
I am disgusted and so should they, with themselves.

I had a second assessment-home visit-on 2nd august,Woman seemed "nice" .shows how sneaky and devious they are.
Was only at my house less than 45 minutes.only 20 minutes asking questions,She did not ask about a typical day.how i cope with housework.
I got my report -could not believe all that was wrong.Dates when conditions diagpsed-wrong-no symptoms listed for any of my conditiions,,did not cover every activity nor record what i told her.lies assumptions and false observations.I have pain in my left knee-HP put pain in r knee!! Arthritis in hands since 1886-told after recent xrays that no sign of deformity or swelling to hands.best "lie" of all -said I was a Historian! A historian is a person who specialises in history and writes books and articles.-that aint me!!.tell more tomorrow

We had a renewal assessment for my daughters pip July 2019 . My daughter has autism and on every previous renewal and initial claim we have had assessors who new nothing about autism . I was shocked when our assessor ' Christopher Patch' arrived at out home . He was wonderful . Caring, Informative, attentive polite and listened with interest and concern when I spoke on my daughters behalf . We spent apx an hour and a half with Christopher and at the end he asked that we do a review no matter what we felt . I can honestly say he was a breath of fresh air and an absolute gentleman a credit to the assessment service and I truly hope that these assessments are dealt with in this kind manner for all claimants .

I am the wife of Alan Cooksey My advice to anyone having to attend a PIP assessment here is not to attend by yourself, to bring a friend or someone as a witness. Be aware there are CCTV cameras probably following your progress to and from the assessment venue, especially if you use the Outlet Car Park. I did not use the nearest underground car park because I am unfamiliar with the layout, steps levels and lighting etc plus the route I chose to take was safe, flat, familiar to me and level and I used cafe seating to sit and rest. I believe this was used against me. I question the morality of using trained staff who if they are health professionals why are they not wishing to work in hospitals or community delivering patient care rather than being responsible for making decisions which affect lives. I wish to advise if you are being interviewed here not to be lured into a false sense of security, these interviewers are nice to your face but will stab you in the back .I also wish to warn service users about the exercises they ask you to perform at the end of your interview. Even if you genuinely can not do them they insist you can. My report states that I can place my arms behind my back when I obviously and genuinely could not. My report stated that I have the physical capability to reach my lower back I have had a few other inaccurate comments on my report such as walking with a stick when I attended using 2 crutches. I object to some of the unhelpful language in my report such as my appearance was well kempt and I dressed appropriately. What has this to do with my mobility difficulties? My report says I heard my name being called. I am deaf and wear 2 hearing aids which I was wearing plus I was not called, the assessor approached us. I am devastated to lose my vehicle which is my lifeline and the difficulties this will cause. My spinal injury caused by maternity staff 32 years ago after childbirth in a local hospital and subsequent mobility difficulties were not my fault and I worked before this happened to me. I feel angry that this has happened to me and the way I am being treated because of it.I believe that disabled people do not deserve to be assessed in this manner. Despite becoming very upset and tearful at the beginning of this interview due to the questioning which the assessor responded kindly the questions had to be answered if not then,another day, my report states there is no evidence of any overwhelming psycological distress, .My interview lasted 2and a half hours of relentless questioning although I believed at the time my assessor was mindful of my hearing loss. I have found that my efforts to try and manage and be as independant as possible have worked against me plus not being able to access GP support. I hope this helps and prepares you for your interview.

This is my experience.....
Went for a re assessment in February as not only do I have Rheumatoid Arthritis I’m now diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. The assessment was just awful, she was rude and arrogant. She made comments like “I suppose you have a blue badge” just awful. It was so awful that I made a complaint to the assessment company. My report was disallowed due to the horrible assessor ignoring all my evidence,and a new one organised. The DWP took away my PIP on the back of the original disallowed report without looking at medical evidence (illegal) the DWP would not back down.

The second assessment was ok, and I went from no award to enhanced for both elements, how can that be then? the first report was full of lies, “ I bent down to pick up a coat” I wasn’t wearing a coat, the lies just went on and on. I’m going to report the assessor to her governing body.

My advice to anyone is that if you feel your assessment was just awful then make a complaint to the assessment company straight away.

So I had my assessment back in June to be told I’ve been stopped of my benefit get this i put in for change in circumstances as my condition has got worse than a year ago. So how do you work out your score chart I’ve put in for a mandatory Reconsideration. Along with two complaints the first complaint come back and of course to cover them filled it with crap... so second complaint is going ahead I’m not gonna let this go. And to be called a lier by the assessor Is something else how about you make sure they have all the info they need before calling us in for these things. And putting lies in there form ie done leg exercises what a load of S*** I stayed in the same chair the whole time don’t even question me on my condition I’m actually diagnosed With not even a mention of that!!! And the whole assessment lasted all of 20mins if that. I’m gonna take this to head office the whole 9 yards as your agency Workers can’t even complete there job with respect dignity nothing and to top it I can’t go to any of my Gp appointments along without getting my meds I need Anna from number 2 cottage road Islington courts will be in touch

I had an assessment on the 13th April 2029 with regard to PIP. As soon as i seen the person who was to carry out this assessment I immediately recognised this person as the one who had carried out my assessment for ESA in November 2017. I told the assessor that she was the one who had carried out that ESA assessment to which she replied that she had never carried out assessments for ESA.
From that moment on I knew that the assessment would be far from accurate because it had started with a lie from the assessor.
I have raised my concerns via the Independent Assessment Services complaint procedure, not an easy process, they do try to make it as difficult as possible to try and dissuade an individual from pursuing a complaint, I.e, requested a complaints form 4 times, 4 times I was told that one was sent out to me, only received the 4th after requesting to speak to a manager. The second stage of the complaints procedure was just as difficult, one of there employees even put the blame on the Royal Mail for letters not being received.
The response to the second stage complaints process was shocking, alarming together with a glimmer of amusement. The so called Health Professional has now left the business.
Onwards to the Independent Case Examiner, I question the Independent bit.

I had my assessment carried out today at Chatham Maritime. As someone who has been claiming DLA for over 12 years and been paid a care allowance and the higher rate of mobility, I strongly resented being interviewed by what appeared to be a clerk typist accompanied by a trainee observer. Of course the typist stopped typing long enough to ask me one of many questions, then repeatedly resumed her accomplished keyboard clattering.

I have a tribunal decision on record endorsed by a lawyer, a doctor, and an expert on disability, which granted me my DLA indefinitely. This decision was a unanimous one, and further endorsed by a senior DWP manager who was present during the interview/assessment.

I would have thought that someone of my age (now 68) and record of debilitation, would have at least deserved the courtesy of a suitably qualified medical or disability professional, not a bloody typist who stopped long enough to ask me the next question that popped up on her computer screen

Is this how sick, elderly and frail people should be treated in accordance with government policy? This organisation's mission statement about care, respect, and consideration, is a lie - and/or someone's poor attempt at humour!!!

my 17 year old had assessment for PIP the assessor had no interest what we was saying wrote in report 3 different versions on what we supposed to of said what the outcome was going to be even though not his decision supposedly and surprise award stopped she now been without money since may and the wait for reconsideration is 12 weeks do they care no the report may as well be used to wipe my a.se o n cos it full of sh.t

Why no zero stars?

Had my assessment (2nd in 2 years + c18 months after successful Tribunal decision) + there's little to add to the horrors everyone else has gone through: it's all depressingly familiar. I've yet to receive my report but, if the last one was anything to go by, it's probable that it will contain a similar mix of highly selective statments (i.e. anything "pro" my application will be omitted) and out and out lies.

Quite extraordinary, however, to be told that the opinions/diagnoses of several doctors (GPs and consultants) including the one at the Tribunal plus the Judge and Disability Consultant who were on the panel, "don't count" just those of the nurse carrying out the "assessment".

Feel quite sure that there is a criminal offence in here somewhere - e.g. if an employee gains (more) money by assessing in accordance with his employer's wishes - however expressed or, those of the DWP!

Wanted to give no stars but that option isn't available for some reason? 24 year old son has severe autism, lives in supported living house, received DLA from age 3. Told to apply for PIP as DLA is ending. Just received decision letter, zero points for everything and DLA ending in less than three weeks!!!!!!! Losing £320 a month. How on earth do you receive 0 points for not needing help and support when you live in a home that's specifically designed for giving help and support??!!!! Anyway, here are a few examples of the evidence from social worker and the reasons given for 0 points: Social Worker - X has inability to manage and plan bus journey's unaided. Decision: I decided you can follow the route of a journey unaided. You report anxiety going out, however you do not take medication for anxiety. Social Worker: without care support in situ X would be at risk of self neglect. He has set routines and will wash every 2-3 days. Decision: you wash daily and dress in clean clothing. And so on and so on.............. well done IAS, son has now taken to his bed, WILL now need anxiety meds and you have 0 chance of ever getting him to attend another assessment!!

This company doesn't even deserve one star. My assessor got my meds wrong despite having a copy of the prescription repeat, she said I had osteoporosis when I have osteoarthritis. Much of the report is a simple copy/paste from one section to another. The nurse really did not understand my disabilities at all (for example she used the fact that I held a notebook as evidence that I could open blister packaging of small tablets). The assessment staff made me feel small and degraded. I wrote to the company afterwards pointing out glaring errors and they said they would speak with nurse involved and make sure she doesn't do it again but I have my doubts about this. On the musculoskeletal assessment she said I could bend to reach my knees but as I was sat in a chair and never stood up, this is clearly a fabrication. I am now preparing my tribunal paperwork which has caused me loss of money, loads of stress, lots of wasted time. I have to wait at least a year for the tribunal in this area....how much is all this costing the taxpayer? Awful, awful company, awful staff and horrendous attitude to claimants (they make you feel they think you are scrounging and the money is coming out of their own pocket). Disgraceful and maybe claimants should be thinking about reporting to the police under the Fraud Act 2008 because that is what it is. Fraudulent.

Words cannot express the true anger and disgrace of these so called professionals. I had a PIP assessment back in early April. I have received a decision today (31st May 2019) saying they cannot pay me PIP for living component or for mobility component and scored me 0 on everything. This is a complete joke.

I suffer from Depression and Anxiety, High Blood Pressure, IBS, Arthritis in knees and 2 trapped nerves in my neck which cause constant pain and very limited ability in my right side but they have said i didn't look in any pain and i could stand unaided and walk 200 meters unaided, i wish i could walk 200 meters, i struggle to get out of bed most mornings let alone walk 200 metres.

I would like to know how they know i can walk 200 meters when they only see me walk about 5 metres from the waiting room to the assessment room.

I cannot prepare food or get dressed myself, i live with parents and my mum has to help me and is very hard for her as my dad is also registered disabled.

The lies these people tell is unbelievable, they said at no point did i look in pain, i'm sorry but how the hell do you know what pain i am in and how much just by looking at me. They said i could do all the movements without any problems, all she asked me to do was stay seated and pinch her fingers and put my arms behind my back which i clearly showed her i could not do with my right arm due to the limited movement and pain.

This is all to do with making money and has nothing to do with the poor people that have to go through this disgusting process, it's bad enough being sick but being put through this and humiliated is a total disgrace,

I have asked for a Mandatory Reconsideration today (31st May 2019), i will be taking this as far as i possibly can, even to my local MP if needed, the whole system is a joke and people are commiting suicide due to the extra stress, i certainly can do without it as i have been feeling suicidal at many points in my life and this just makes it worse.

I have had several assessments for pip & they have all been copy & pasted lies..some of the last report was unreadable by myself.& the tribunal panel..it looked like a spider had slipped across some ink into that section.I.have been waiting since February for an assessment I was due to have one at home yesterday...i have asked my mp to intervene & he had contacted them.to say I would be recording the assesment using the equipment stated in their rules, I have had no.letter of cancellation for yesterday's appointment & no one came..my friend has lost a morning's wages.& I have paid.for the equipment out of my top up rent.I am.absolutely fuming & still no further on.i have had no sleep.for weeks & my anxiety has peaked.i have various conditions most are degenerative & permenant & I get assessed every 2 years so by the time I have failed an assessment then the Mr.& then have to wait for.a tribunal I get given a 2 year award..which has 6 months left due to the back dating & then I have to go round & do it all again... I thought it would be helpful for the assessor & myself to have it recorded but it seems they don't want the truth recorded????.
Since I wrote this review I was due another assessment last Monday...they didn't turn up but said they did...apparently I waved & shut the curtains ...that would be an achievement for me with 2 arms in slings since my last fall & I can't draw my curtains as the sofa is against them..My mp stopped my file going back to the dwp & .assesment number 5 is on the 22nd of June.....which will be recorded.

shockingly bad, even after i complained they said i was lieing (even about when they were making themselves a drink before hand and someone came in mid assessment to offer them another.) never mind about all the things they stated that are incorrect and they claim they don't lie in the reports such a joke.

Had assessment on the 5th march. Assessor was condesending.report was full of copy and pasted lies. Sent further evidence I'd got hold off and sent it to the DWP. Days later it's apparent this evidence is missing and a decision had already been made. I lost some of my benefits. My wife complained and asked where the evidence had gone and wanted to speak to a case worker. She got to speak to a lady after three attempts.she covered up the assessors mess. We complained to the IAS and got a letter back dated 25th February 19. My assessment was 5th march ????. It should of been dated 6th April 19. Got another letter after pointing it out. The MR was done and dusted by the 8th April 19. not even giving us time to make our case. Another letter arrived this morning (4th may) after they have looked into the assessors report they say everything we are asking or saying is not true because the CSL says so. These are the "clinical support leaders" . The assessor is right. I phoned them and had a good rant saying I'm taking it further. The DWP don't know who the CSL are. Any complaint is a waste of time, any MR is a waste of time,the assessment is a waste of time and I've wasted my time. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES."
