Brought some trainers and were not correct sizing, so returned. Did not receive a refund after a while so contacted the customer service... who informed me that if I wanted a refund I should send them the trainers and not just the empty box. They say the packaging was not damaged... why would I send an empty box if I wanted a refund?!?! Absolute joke!!

Customer service are like robots with absolutely no respect for your time or money

Spent over £200 with them a month ago, but two pairs of shoes were incorrect.
I contacted them to tell them that only one pair was wearable due to issues with consistency of sizing, and although it had missing embellishments, I was planning to keep this defective pair but wanted to wait until I had received everything from my order before I returned the rest.

After having to repeat myself on at least 4 frustratingly-slow live chats, and and being promised follow ups that never came, I emailed them. First thing they told me was that everything looked okay on CCTV so they couldn't help. Then I sent them evidence as they requested, and requesting that they extended my returns window to be a month after I receive the full order as a month had already passed. They then asked for better quality evidence, ignoring my request for the window to be extended

4 live chats and 11 emails later, I've now given up and requested that they give me a returns label to return everything - whether i manage to get a resolution for something this simple is questionable?

BUY YOUR SHOES ELSEWHERE!

First time I have ordered from them and will never order from them again. Boots weren’t suitable so I returned them and got email confirmation of my return fairly promptly.
I then had to chase the refund up twice before they finally refunded me almost 4 weeks after getting the returned boots. Customer services is via chat and the tone of their ‘chat’ is rude and unhelpful. They were basically unapologetic and patronising when they had over £100 of my money that they seemed very reluctant to return to me. Every time, I was told to wait another 2-5 days for the refund and then told that it hadn’t gone through as it was still showing as ‘pending’ or was just ‘stuck’ or ‘have you checked the day of purchase as sometimes the refund shows up there?’. Utter rubbish.
Eventually got my refund (minus the cost that I had to pay for Collect plus to return them!).
BUY YOUR SHOES ELSEWHERE. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Faulty goods

Bought pair of shoes worth 140 pounds. Sole coming away from shoe after 6 weeks. Returned to Office Shoes assessment team and they now claim that I didn’t clean them correctly… the bottom of the shoe! Never will buy from them again. Was a loyal customer. Never again. Buyer beware.

Ordered 2 pairs of trainers for my children for Christmas. Tracked the package, which said that it was delivered, but I have not received anything. I had two very disappointed children on Christmas Day. The money has been taken, email sent to explain the situation and no response. VERY disappointing!!

Terrible customer service and returns

I ordered a pair of Doc Martens just before Christmas and returned them for a refund as they didn't fit - the entire procedure seemed easy and simple... A few days after Office received my return, I received an unexpected message from Yodel saying they had an Office Shoes parcel for me - surprising as I was expecting a refund not a replacement. When the parcel was delivered, I opened up a pair of unknown Nike Trainers that I had never seen before in my life, as well as a letter from Office advising me that these weren't the shoes I had ordered and should be returning to Office and that I needed to return the DM's to them to process a refund. I got on the Live chat to them thinking that it must be a simple error with tracking numbers. All Office did was tell me that I had sent them a pair of Nike trainers, and that I must be wrong and that there was nothing else they could do about it as their returns team had told them that is what they had received. Now I am out of pocket £150 and an hour of my life on their useless chat - there are no telephone lines or managers according to Lameez and Mhairi to speak to. Oh, and they are the same people that process the complaints too... Avoid at all costs. Not worth the hassle or basically being called a liar or delusional.

Shocking aftercare

I ordered two pairs of shoes thinking I could just return the pair that didn't fit to my local shop. That shop doesn’t exist anymore. Instead I was prompted by Office to return the items vie Yodel, the shipping cost being deducted from my refund. Some time went by so I checked the Yodel tracker, which said the items had been returned. I contacted Office vie chat (no phone option). This is where it gets 1 star. The operative (Molly) said Office have not received my return, even though I said the tracker confirms it had been received. This went round and round in circles, I gave up and asked my bank to initiate a card charge back. In the end, Office acknowledged they had received the item and I got a refund.

Any company can take payment and send you something in the post. That's the easy part. It’s the aftercare that sorts the 5 star from the 1 star companies.

I will never use this company again. As many others have said, I wish I’d looked on Trustpilot first.

Still awaiting refund although I have proof of my return being received. Really disappointed with this company. I am due my refund but customer service are not actioning it.

Order missing and money taken

My item was dispatched over a month ago, however the parcel went missing. I have got in contact with customer service but they take days to respond at a time. They asked me to fill in a disclaimer and return within 5 days which I did. However, there was a small mistake on the disclaimer and I corrected immediately after they let me know. Because they took days to let me know there was a mistake on the disclaimer they are now saying I did not return within the 5 day time frame and will not send out a replacement or refund me. Over a month later I am item less and over £100 down. The customer service has been appalling and no one has helped regarding this. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Bought some trainers as a birthday…

Bought some trainers as a birthday present for my girlfriend 4 weeks ago. Order never arrived, numerous emails and calls later, promise after promise after promise later and still not received my order. Courier no idea where my order is, Office simply don’t care where it is and on and on it goes. An absolute shambles, I’d give zero stars if that was an option. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Do not order from them!

I returned 3 items and only got refunded for 2. When I complained I got told "sorry but we only received 2 items". Completely unacceptable - they cannot be trusted. They also don't offer free returns so you have to pay for the privilege of being robbed.

Worst Customer Service experience ever

If it were possible to give a negative score, I would do so for Office Customer Services. I was stonewalled by them (thanks Anna Kane!) and in the end had to go back into the store to get a decent and appropriate response to my complaint. I’d wanted to buy a pair of Mayari Birkenstocks sandals, and sourced online they were £65 in Office. Unsure of what size to order, I went into my local store in Bath. There were 3 display models. I picked up one and the price sticker said £65. Great! I then tried one on, it didn’t quite fit, so asked for it in next size up. Perfect, I bought them. Several days later on checking bank statement, saw I’d been charged £80, not the advertised £65. I called the store and was asked “maybe you bought the Vegan ones?” It turned out that – unknowingly - I had. They look absolutely identical to the non-Vegan ones, but are £15 more expensive. The store assistant added that they were unable to generate price labels for the Vegan ones. I put it to her that this was rather misleading, and in my view this should have been brought to my attention at the time. She agreed, but referred me to Customer Services. The initial response I had from them (Alice actually) was exactly what I’d expected – if I was refunded the £15, would I keep the sandals? Yes, I replied, thank you. However, in all subsequent communication with Customer Services I was told quite bluntly that as I had worn the sandals, there was nothing they could do. Basically they told me to F*** Off. And when I pointed out that they were possibly in breach of the Consumer Rights Act (as the sandals were not sold at the price advertised/displayed), I got no response at all. Fortunately, the lovely store manager in Bath admitted that it was all a bit misleading (even though not intentionally so) and refunded me £15 today. Common sense and decency prevailed, but absolutely no thanks to Anna in Customer Services - who in my opinion should be working in another field and not in keeping Customers happy. She managed to outrage me and put me off ever buying from Office again.

Outrageous customer service

Outrageous customer service! they clearly don't give a damn . Waiting for a refund and have been since April! have emailed, tweeted.. tried to speak via online chat sometimes they reply other times they don't and when they do reply it's very unhelpful Disgraceful

Wish I’d looked on Trust Pilot first

Ordered a pair of sandals, was told 3-5 days delivery on order confirmation. My husband went on live chat to ask where order was after 5 days and was given a very convoluted response. It seems they do not QC their stock on arrival to warehouse, nor do they have accurate stock listed on their ops system. Do not believe website when it says *a few pairs left*
Annoyingly I missed out on this drop by choosing to purchase from this website, they are now sold out on my size everywhere. Wish I’d looked on here first!!
The one saving Grace was that I purchased through Klarna, who don’t take payment until order has shipped so I wasn’t out of pocket and don’t have to wait an age for a ‘refund’.

Ordered a pair of sandals 2 weeks ago and I still have received nothing. I received an email to say they had been delivered but they have not. Customer service standard response of a reply within 72 hours....still waiting. No refund offered, no sandals and no communication. I wish I had read the reviews here first and I would not have used this company . Despicable.

I ordered a pair of Veja Campo…

I ordered a pair of Veja Campo trainers. On wearing the first time I got caught in the rain. There are now yellow sploges all over them due to dye raising to the surface these are now unwearable. Office have refused a refund even though trainers are faulty

I have contacted trading standards as the shoes are unfit for purpose

Refusing Refund for non delivery

Ordered a pair of shoes costing £135 that did not arrive for my daughters birthday. I made contact with the delivery company who despite losing the parcel have been very helpful but Office have to make the claim. They are refusing to do so and telling me there is nothing I can do. For the first time I am going to have to dispute through the bank. I will never use them again.

Do not buy anything from this company! I ordered a pair of £119 doc marten sandals for my wife’s birthday when the parcel arrived there was only one sandal in the box! I contacted the customer see team and I got a response telling me that there is nothing they can do!!! I have been chasing this for over a week and they have refused to do anything about it. They do not have a contract number and you only ever receive the same templated response when you try to contact them. Genuinely the worst customer service I’ve ever received I’ve pail £119 for one sandal

Ordered pair of trainers wrong size sent back paid for return with royal mail tracked parcel back royal mail says they received trainers back to office they can't find them customer service are rubbish these trainers were £80 where are the trainers if you have had them back and where is my money owed they are blaming royal mail
