I wish I could give 0 star review. Order took forever to be processed. When I finally got something, they only shipped a small portion of the order but still charged for full order. Even on my delivery notice it says they only delivered a small package. I have been emailing them to inquire about it, but they stopped replying to my emails. Worst company ever.
UPDATE: March 16,2023
RareCandy says I got a refund! I just rechecked all my banking information and the only transaction on there from them is for the purchase of the product, December 25, 2022. They most definitely did not issue a refund. As for them saying I got my product! I did not even get half of the product! Delivery notice says that 2.5 lbs was delivered. The TWO big bags of Albanese Gummies I ordered, weighed 5 lbs EACH. Someone here does not know their math! If I could attach a photo of the delivery notice, I sure would!

Rare Candy insists they sent a refund. They ABSOLUTELY did not send any refund. Please provide details of proof of refund.

After my update last night, Rare Candy emailed me a $50 gift card. A refund is a return of money in the form you paid, not a credit to spend on future purchases of which I most certainly will never do given the experience I have had with them.

Pricing issues on the website. Ordered something for $0 and paid shipping. They didn’t honour it (which I expected) but then refunded me with store credit? Like seriously? Decided not to worry about it and just ordered something else instead. Moral of the story, don’t shop here.

They are absolutely rude!!! It's funny when I ask where my order is they are rude to me saying they aren't AMAZON ROBOTS I ordered stuff from them and I didn't get it! When I ordered the peeps it said 0 dollars I thought maybe a promotion so I got a few they never came in the box! I'm sorry but if you have pricing issues that's not my problem! I should have gotten my order the whole order! Never ever will I or anyone i know order from these jerks again! EDIT So as you can see by the disgusting reply that's the type of people you are dealing with!!! If i was anyone else I would not be buying from them as they will SCREW you over!! Awful. Inexcusably slow processing/shipping (4 weeks). And when they refuse to honor advertised pricing, they don't refund your payment, they issue a store credit with an expiry date. Deceitful practices and non-existent customer service. AVOID!

Read their return policies and faq's
*Read their return policies and faq's before ordering*. A company with very bad business practices. Had I read their policies before ordering, I would not have ordered from them. They ship from 3rd party warehouses. They do not offer changes to orders, returns, or cancellations, and state they will freely substitue items. Fortunately, I received the correct product and in good order, one of the few, if only to have that happen (and the only reason I'm giving 3-stars) It took 5 weeks to receive my items after being told 9 days, then 15. And when I emailed I was told that they're backed up from Christmas and couldn't give me an answer as to when it would ship. Use site with caution.

Update: the response on this thread from Rarecandy is laughable. You reply to this thread but still don’t respond to the email. Either way, not worth my time to argue over missing $25ish dollars worth of candy.

Do not order from them
I ordered from them weeks ago, product has not shipped. I tried reaching out and have not got a response. I am contacting my bank for a refund and reporting them that they take ur money but don’t send the product DO NOT USE

Warning*** do not deal with!
If I could give zero stars I would. This company does not fulfill their orders and simply gives a store credit for items that they say are in stock. They sent me 5 products that were wrong. I’ve been trying to contact them to rectify the problem. They have changed their email and refuse to fix their mistake.
They have replied with incorrect information they sent me 5 bottles of coke fil a Polynesian sauce not the original I ordered. I never got any free product!! I paid for everything I received including the wrong bottles. The only thing they gave me store credit to was the animal crackers which were out of stock.

Don’t order from this site
My order has not arrived in the time frame that the site said it would and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with anyone. DONT ORDER FROM HERE. Just use Amazon.com instead.They try to say fake review, but I did order from there. The spray cheese for my step father. They are the worst customer service ever. Don’t believe them when they say Amazon won’t sent you the treats. I’ve order from Amazon.com before to get American stuff. A lot of sellers will ship to you. DONT ORDEE FROM RARE CANDY. They are a scam and they are rude and seen by the response to my review. Instead of trying to fix it they tried to fight it and call it fake.

Terribly Disappointed
Order took well over 4 weeks to arrive and I live in Canada, no international shipment. Email inquiries went unanswered. Package arrived, items were missing, expired, and wrong products sent. Emailed again, received a response this time asking for pictures. I sent pictures of expired and wrong product sent. Never received a response again. Terribly disappointed in this Canadian business, will not be ordering from them again.

I wish I could give zero stars. For my order I was sent substitutions that I never wanted and wasn't informed about. I emailed my concern and their reply stated:
"You should read our policy on our website for subsisitions ! You did agree when you placed the order.
Thank you,
Chiara"
The only mention of substitutions on their ToS is:
"You also agree to any substitutions found in our other policies found on the footer of "rarecandycanada.ca""
So I go hunting on their website and find the following in their FAQ (not under any policy):
"It's possible that Rare Candy Canada will need to replace items that have recently become unavailable between the time the order is placed and when the actual shopping is done. If this is the case, Rare Candy Canada will provide an alternative that they feel is similar in product quality, size, and type."
Ummmm. Seems to me that the customer should be informed of substitutions, so that's a crappy way to do business.
However, further down the same FAQ page I find the following:
"Refund Policy
If you have received incorrect items please reach out and let us know so we can get you exactly what you wanted!"
They're not living up to their own 'policy'. I was the fool here. Please learn from my experience and
DO NOT ORDER FROM RARECANDYCANADA
P.S. Forgot to also mention that my incorrect order took 4 weeks to be sent, and that only happened after I questioned not having received shipping information. I live in Canada, so it wasn't even international.

Bad experience, they do what THEY want
Half of my order was substituted with items I didn't want. I contacted them and this is what they answered :
« Hello,
due to the busy christmas season, and complexity of handling thousands of products. over 4000 to be exact, we may have products expire, sold out, stolen, and other factors such as damage. We may have to substitute items from time to time . we want items to arrive before the christmas during this extremely busy season due to unprecedented demand.

I checked and this is illegal but they know that the legal process to claim my order is too complicated and too long (I wouldn't have received the goods in time for Christmas anaway...) I asked them to send what I actually ordered and show them the law but they answered that « those merchant laws refer to QUEBEC ONLY » which is completly false because they sell online, they are not above the law !
In conclusion, I was forced to buy candies that I didn't want and I didn't get what I wanted...

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would.
I ordered $117 worth of Feastible chocolate bars that I intended to give as gifts... every last one of those $8 chocolate bars arrived in a million pieces.
When I contacted the company to ask if I could send them back for a refund or get replacement bars sent, they told me yep no problem we will do everything we can to make this right, just send a picture of the damaged product. So I go ahead and do that for them to respond this
"Hi Jessie,
you can refer to our policies on rarecandycanada.ca, we arent liable for damages caused by carriers.
When we sent these items they were all in perfect condition.
The products are fresh and not expired, and this doesn't affect the enjoyment of the bar.

I 100% can not gift a chocolate bar that upon opening is going to explode into a million pieces all over the floor Christmas morning.
I put 0 blame on the carrier as it was shipped in too large of a box, with one small piece of bubble wrap.
I also ordered candy canes that arrived stale and also all broken.
This was a huge disappointment and an even bigger waste of money.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

UPDATE: replying to rarecandycanada @RareCandy, Everything l stated was factual and again l didn't order those 'regular' kit kats l ordered national lampoon candy so you were already being 'FRAUDULENT' cause you no longer had said item but replaced it with something l never wanted, and also how long did you wait to reply this is now actually the FIRST time you have actually messaged me other than your first message telling me that was your policy and nothing could be done.
My error count was not wrong. l ordered:
1-cherry poptarts got: MAPLE poptars
2-ordered mild taco bell sauce got: HOT which I cannot consume
3-ordered regular sweet dots and received sour which I cannot consume
4-Ordered Nation Lampoons chocolate wafers and received 3 KitKats. Regardless of their price, or availability, they are not at all what I ordered.
The candy canes were gummy all the way through as though they had been sitting in the sun or humidity. completely inedible.
If you were any form of professional business owner you should own up to your failure instead of blaming the customer for your inability to be a responsible legitimate 'Canadian business'
With all the competing businesses of this nature currently popping up, I would think that you would value customer retention. At the very least you could have apologized or admitted that this wasn't a small mistake, or completely absolved yourself of responsibility citing "theft, damages, and even expirations, miscalcutions, and human errors". Even a partial refund would have left me happy despite the inconvenience and errors. You dismissed me and then blocked me from contacting you after ONE email exchange. To me this is no different than STEALING.

This business was to provide 'rare hard to find' edibles/food goods listed as available for purchase from their website.
I ordered 7 items and upon receiving them 4 of the items were replaced with completely unrelated items, for example: A 12oz bag of chocolate disk wafers for 15$ was replaced with 3 KitKat bars l could have purchased at my nearby convenience store, only 3 of the remaining items were correct the rest were best guess or something they had laying around to use as a replacement. I would understand maybe 1 or 2 replacements but 75% of missing items is unacceptable.
l contacted the owner who simply replied:
"The National Lampoons arrived damaged, for that item we substituted.
we are sorry about that, but we wanted to make sure you got your order before Christmas !"

And so l did read their policy (which was no easy task to find mind you), in short, they claim that they can replace any item with a substitute they deem as a replacement no refunds and no returns.
Fair enough HOWEVER they continue to display items they currently no longer have in stock and expect unaware buyers to call to inquire if items are available, (there are hundreds of items on their site) to add to the online shopping carts and place the orders, these policies ARE NOT readily available for customers to read, l assure you if they had made this info readily available l would certainly have not supported this Canadian business and will not do business with them in the future, and you should seriously consider doing the same.
And to add insult to injury a free gift (Jell-o Cherry candy canes) were stale and inedible
l was able to get all the missing items from Amazon which btw has a return and refund policy.

Buyer Beware!!! Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied…
Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this vendor. I placed 2 separate orders with this company and both times at least 1/3 of the items ordered were missing. Not only was I charged for several items that I did not receive, but when I emailed the company to politely inquire if they could look into this matter I was told that they substituted items in my order and in the future, not to place an order under $200. The special and “rare candy” items I ordered were substituted with damaged packages of products I can get for 1/4 of the cost in my local grocery store. If an item is out of stock, update your website. If you need to substitute something then you should be contacting the customer first to ensure it’s a viable substitute and not something they don’t want or will be allergic to! Or better still, crédit their order if you cannot provide the items that you advertised and they ordered!! Worst customer service I’ve encountered. I do not recommend this company.
Broken chocolate bars
They get 2 stars because I was really happy to find the product and be able to order it, but when I received the order and opened it up....and the chocolate bars were not cushioned in the too-big box in any way and all broken up. I was quite disappointed!! These were bought for a gift, which I can no longer give because of the terrible shape they are in.
I have emailed the company and await a response. I will update this review with their response.
Update - response from Rare Candy was to file a complaint with the shipper UPS, saying "they have been smoking too much marijuana probably...".
The company is refusing to accept any responsibility, even after I pointed out that had the chocolate bars been cushioned at all in the too-big box they would not have been thrown around inside the box and gotten broken as much.
