Bad experience
Bad. The boarding time was 4:00 PM on february 1, 2025 from kuala lumpur central to Ipoh. The bus was late and came to kuala central at 4:45 PM. Then he drove for 30 minutes and then he re come back to kuala lumpur central to took new passengers. It was not indicated on the ticket that he will do that. We lost lot of time.

I booked a round trip Cameron - KL. By mistake I chose the wrong day. You can't have it refunded or rescheduled less than 24 before the trip. That was fine
I processed to reschedule the way back trip which is 2 days before departure. The website didn't let me to. EVEN THOUGH they clearly stated that I can cancel the trip before the 5.30pm (see photo) below.
Called them, they said it can be reschedule for round trip! Scammer, lying straight to your face. When you say you can send them the screenshot on the app, denied it.
Fine to lose those ticket, gonna book somewhere else. SCAMMER

Bad operation from the management, booked the seat, booked the ticket, at the end, they don’t control the seat, no seat checkin before departure, RUDE attitude from staff counter, there’s literally more than 50% of people confuse on the notice board that published the timing, when we went to ask for clarification on the timing, the staff doesn’t give a F about our question and just told us to follow the time.

Very unresponsible stuff and the suk apps,i have been cancel by the supernice at Dec ,and they said will return my money in 2 weeks,but once i call to customer service,they skip to answer me ,and till now almost 1 month i still not receive my money back
Almost abandoned in Lumut
Avoid at all costs. My experience with RedBus was infuriating, unsafe, unprofessional, and plagued by poor communication and delays. They are just a middleman booking tickets and couldn’t care less about your journey. There’s no real customer service—just a barely functioning bot on their website, and it’s nearly impossible to lodge a complaint.
Our scheduled 8 PM bus from Lumut (VAQ 8599) didn’t show up, abandoning two families in a small town at night without notice. No call, no text—nothing. The only RedBus driver on-site rudely waved us off, shut his bus window, and hid at the back of his bus scrolling on his phone. After 45 minutes of frustration, I had to convince another company’s staff to call the RedBus desk.
The ordeal continued with reckless driving at 110kph, poor-quality vehicles, delays at every turn, and zero communication. A last-minute announcement to switch buses came with no apology or acknowledgment of the chaos.
RedBus completely failed its passengers. If I hadn’t taken action, we’d have been stranded all night. Avoid this company.

Frustrating Bus Experience at KLIA2
On Dec 1, 2024, at 18:20, I was present on the 1st floor of KLIA2 and was directed to pay an additional RM1 fee. I was then instructed to proceed to gate B8 as there was no staff at A1, and the information board was not operational.
I waited at gate B8 until 18:45, but no bus arrived. A staff member with a name tag informed me of a delay, and the bus finally arrived at 21:00, departing at 21:15. Upon arriving at Melaka Sentral, I encountered further issues as the driver initially refused to take me to Mahkota Medical Center, the designated drop-off point on my ticket. After I insisted, the driver eventually stated that they could only take me to Mahkota Medical Center at 12:00 AM when the access gate to the area would be opened. As of now, at 23:50 on December 1, I am still waiting at Melaka Sentral, hoping this information is accurate.
This situation has caused significant disruption to my plans, including a delayed meeting and the risk of losing my hotel booking.
Scam in an APP
This app is an absolute joke. You might get your ticket, or you might not—it’s a complete toss-up. And when things go wrong (which they will), don’t even bother trying to reach customer service. They’re either impossible to contact or blatantly ignore you.
They market themselves as offering options from various companies, but it’s all a scam—run by the same shady entity. Of course, this means endless headaches trying to find your ride.
Frankly, this is unacceptable. Businesses like this have no place operating, and I sincerely hope they go bankrupt sooner rather than later. Disgraceful!

Diorang tak jual tiket bas je, tiket/pakej trip pun adaaaaaa. Saya ada beli 3 pakej utk trip naik jeep area jogjakarta. 2 daripada 3 pakej tu, contact numbers given are reachable. 1 pakej lagi, contacted person kata dia takpernah ada account redbus and tak ada iklan pakej diorang kat redbus. THE PROBLEM IS, nak complaint kat redbus susah. Customer service tak friendly langsung, hantar email pun tak reply. Nak apply refund pun tak ada button. Stress betul rasa. Taktahu nak ke mana, benda dah bayarrrrr. Teruk betul!!!!!!!! Not gonna buy from redbus dah huhu sorry to say.
Sales oriented online platform
The red bus is only focus on sales. They have Meridian Holidays every half an hour but the bus only arrives every hour. This bus operates just expect the passengers to rush to the destination just to wait an hour. It's totally unacceptable. Dok not use the services of Meridian Holidays

We came to visit Malaysia from UK , We are group of 14 person which includes kids and elder person when we bought a tickets we make sure we have WiFi and charging port which been confirmed but when Journey begins there wasn’t a comfortable journey. The bus driver was absolutely rude arrogant we had a few times argument because my mother wanted to go use washroom and he was rushing and angry and when we ask for itinerary of journey bus was for 6 hours
He didn’t tell us about where he will stops & for how long children was about hungry but he was so rude felt so much insulted I don’t recommend these buses for foreign visitors & we have already updated social media along with videos ..
Please send your staff for professional training.
The customer service need to be improve as they are serving in the international airport.
Counter lady make such comment as : ‘you’re late, if the bus leave I don’t know ah.’
Where’s the professionalism?
We manage to board the bus but with a very disappointed feeling. When enter the bus, a family of 5 was late too. The driver shouted at the family and make comment : MA HAI! You should just board another bus and you will cause us to get compound.

Worst app. I made booking 2 weeks ago, payment done and later redbus notify me that they have problem to issue the ticket. Iv contacted them several times for refund but still to this day, nothing. I cant get my refund, it has been 2 weeks. Same answer given to me everytime, which is they will look into it.
Dont waste your money on this app. Better use Easybook next time
Bus abandoned me
The bus I took from Malaysia to City Center in Singapore abandoned me at Singapore's customs, in an area where there were no buses or taxis. I contacted customer service and they are not helping at all.

I book a ticket at 6pm, and 1 day before my travel, I receive a miss call at late night 11.30pm.
following day I am in full day conference, and do receive a miss call around noon.
After my conference end at 4pm+, I call back to customer service, end up realize the bus had reschedule to 4pm which already pass.
Redbus very happy tell me that they can do a refund. Do you think customer want refund? Customer wish to travel on time, not your refund.

Watch out for these so-called "refundable" bus tickets from Redbus – they're anything but! The customer service is also seriously lacking in the attitude department. Needless to say, I won't be using Redbus for my future bookings.
