Terrible experience

Terrible experience! We drove from Singapore to Malacca. We had a rude bus driver, he was unhelpful, he took away items from our seats during customs pass control without asking or saying anything. Nothing was announced in terms of stops (2x at customs). He threw with our luggage. It gave us a lot of stress. Never again with this company!!!!

The most stupid bus service ever

The most stupid bus service ever, never mention its was first come first serve buses. While we at CIQ Woodland the bus left us whole family with 10 people, we have to pay additional ticket that costs around $10 per passanger. Not recomended at all & very rude.

Melor bus timing

Melor bus has always issue with timing. Their booking in system always show bus timing 3.15, 3.30.

Upon buying 3.30. You can see the similar booking seat for both timing. End up now it's delayed. It's almost 3.40pm (21.6.2024).

Redbus please ensure your host are being honest with their schedules and booking available.

Be careful purchase ticket from Redbus

be careful if you purchase ticket from redbus for my wife & son. I've experience purchase ferry tickets batam-singapore but when thry trying to change it to real ticket in the ferry counter they said that my ticket were not recognized in their system and I have to purchase new tickets for them as they have to travel that day. I tried to claim for refund to redbus since 1st Feb 2024 until now it's not resolved and they said still waiting from related team. Very disappointed and will never purchase ticket again from redbus

Travelled from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur 7h journey
No toilet on the bus
No food allowed on the bus
1 stop at immigration with toilet and another one for snacks and toilet.
Cash only at the stop for snacks
Bus very comfortable
Driver doesn’t speak English
Drive was safe
Stops at immigration, need to fill online form to enter malásia, having internet is useful.

Éviter vraiment cette compagnie tant…

Éviter vraiment cette compagnie tant que faire se peut. On me prévient qu’un problème technique empêche de générer le code QR, à la station de bus on finit quand même par l’imprimer, je constate ensuite que c’est une pratique pas du tout inhabituelle de faire payer plusieurs fois le billet sans le rembourser. Ensuite il est en retard sans aucune information. Il était noté à l’heure jusqu’à l’heure du départ (alors qu’on sait souvent qu’un bus est retard bien avant l’heure du départ puisqu’il n’est pas là)
Toutes les autres compagnies depuis une heure partent en temps excepté cette compagnie.

I had payment for my ticket bus 7 Oct 2023 4:45 pm but red bus dm on my email they had technical issues and want refund my money but almost two month I wait and I don't get my money..please..don't do this to me before I'm viral this case

So picked up over an hour and twenty…

So picked up over an hour and twenty minutes late without a single apology.
Not one of the "guys" on board asked me where I was going.
It was on my ticket and I assumed they knew as they didn't ask.
This is often the protocol in S.E Asia where I've caught many buses.
I always get asked atleast in broken English "Where you go?" Which I kindly reply or they are atleast aware of where I'm going.
No blanket or offer of snacks on the bus which was a first time ever.
No food stops but did have a toilet stop. I had to guess it was a toilet stop.
Not one English word spoken, Foreigners in all fairness should not be allowed to purchase tickets under these conditions.
After we finally stopped without a word of where I was.
I'd been asleep through sheer tiredness I had to look at my phone and guess I was at my stop or otherwise they would have just continued going.
I just made gestures to them and said some words to let them know how bad my treatment was.
They allowed my to get all my luggage from the bus after this not one of them helped and even after all this I asked for a taxi; two men just hand gestured and grunted where to go.
It was quite a walk with the bags I had and they even sent me the long way.
Really not one to write reviews in general especially negative ones.
Plus points were, the bus didn't smell and nobody attempted to physically rob me and that's whol
e heartedly all I can say.
I've spent over three and a half years traveling in SE Asia and seen a lot.
Had one previous experience with these "redbus"before when they cancelled my bus from India to Nepal with very short notice.
All I can say is this was an absolutely dismal service.
P.S. They couldn't even generate my QR code.
They sent me a message right before I was due to board saying refund and I thought it was for my coach.
Had to get my code myself.
Cannot even reiterate how bad these are stay well away.

Customer service sucks

Customer service sucks. Never resolves the issue and automatically closes the case. There's no way to review the bus that you have taken because often times the buses are terrible anyway.

1st and last riding City Express

It was our first time riding City Express heading to Larkin from TBS apparently would be the 1st and last. The bus seems so stingy and if you got allergy might as well bring your antihistamine meds. The air on is too slow although the weather is quite cold outside as its raining in some point of the road. Got cctv inside the bus but not sure if it's working or not though. 2 stars I gave to the driver actually as he drove smoothly and keen on the road.

Do not buy their bundles, only buy the bus trips

Booked 2 trips with Red Bus, 1st: KL Sentral to Genting, 2nd: Genting to KL + one way Skyway ticket

I would have given this a 3 star but because of our utterly useless skyway ticket and no way to contact their customer service this deserves the 2 star. 1 star is for the fact that the app actually worked for the bus trips only but useless for the skyway ticket.

The issue came on the 2nd trip, when we were in Genting skyway. We couldn't claim our inclusive skyway ticket because the PDF attached to the email was corrupted. Only a Singapore contact number for customer service and we couldn't find the chat with customer service option.

We had no choice but to book a new skyway ticket from Genting :( what a waste of 20 RM :(

I will never recommend this service to anyone, it's not tourist friendly at all.

NEVER BOOKED REDBUS AGAIN!!!

We booked and confirmed 2 tickets leaving at 2.30pm on 22 Oct 2023 from KL to Singapore and paid RM214.44.

Upon arrival at TBS counter at 2pm to exchange for bus ticket, we were given 3.30pm bus ticket and ticket price was RM90 each. When clarify with counter, everybody only say they dont knows and when call Customer Service, no one answer the call.

This will be my 1st and last time I book using redbus app. Pls be aware. Book at your own risk.
